I mean to be blunt everywhere seems to have a dragon nearby especially since they're flying all over the darn place.

There is also a Talos Shrine and a Imperial Legion Helmet near his shack, so he is probably a Veteran from the Empire - Dominion War & was not very thrilled with the White Gold Concordad, on account of him living out in the Wilderness of the Rift instead of in Helgen with his Family

@@2013elemantayeah right Oblivion is far superior to Skyrim. Skyrim won’t be that hard to top. As much as people clown Bethesda for re releasing Skyrim so many times, that’s exactly what made it great. Slowly adding more and more new content over the years. Starfield is already more of an actual role playing game. With an emphasis on role playing. The next elder scrolls will be out in 4-6 years and it will be better as BGS is going back to their roots. They want to make actual RPG’s instead of action RPG’s like Skyrim

Ironically, that same diadem spawns on a stump right outside of Froki’s shack, free for the taking. It’s an excellent item for beginning mages to grab early on as it reduces the cost of all schools of magic by 5%

Long bows are actually pretty good if you improve them with maxed smithing. It’s really just a choice between fast draw speed with decent damage or slow draw speed with heavy damage.

It respawns.

I think it does a small amount of extra damage to animals, but the base damage is so poor to weapons you already own. So either hang it on a wall or disenchant it to get the enchantment for your own weapons.

@@sophiemendez5567 no it just drains a target's stamina. You're thinking of the terrible Poacher's Axe that does bonus damage to animals.

@@ColetheFlame01 well, that's gay. I thought it did both. I usually just cram all the useless but collectable items in a cabinet anyway.

@@sophiemendez5567 if it does do that it doesn't say it. and yeah honestly same. I was so disappointed when I got Auriel's Bow only to realize that the free Dragonebone Bow I had gotten a few hours ago was doing like 66% more damage at base, so I definitely toss a lot of unique weapons into the cellar honestly.

@@ColetheFlame01 some items have a second effect though. A hidden ability. Like the bloodthorn from hag's end. So don't just chuck everything into a bin without research 😉.

I swear that beacon finds me no matter what. I ran into a random location called Peak's Shade Tower, killed a Spriggan, only one chest inside and it was a regular wooden chest in the middle of nowhere, Meridia: A NEW HAND TOUCHES THE BEACON! gosh darn it.....

@@ColetheFlame01 man fr 😭😭😭 in my current play through, its somehow appeared in close to 20 different chests all over the map, and I have no idea how tf it's happening

@@gabrialsperka422 honestly the only reason I enjoy the quest is I get my favorite sword. Seriously I plan to make a hilarious build called the Warrior of Light and just use Dawnbreaker, Auriel's Bow, and Auriel's Shield as my weapons. Love the designs of those things. Also I know Meridia's Beacon can spawn in just about any chest outdoors or in a boss dungeon chest. so yeah you'll find it everywhere once you hit the level requirement I think. I'm honestly waiting for the one lucky playthrough that it somehow spawns in solstheim lmao.

It's the leather scout armor. You can craft it if you have the AE version.
