When I first tuned into this channel the cake you did was the back to school books stacked randomly and a pencil by the side. That cake got me hooked on you for sure. The other I love is the Banana cake. I think another inspired cake is to do one of TV shows, as there are some amazing new shows out there the ideas for inspiration would be endless.

Dear Yolanda, My name is Domenica I’m 25 years old, I’ve been following you since your cake of cakes video and have watched every video on your channel ever since!🎉💕 I was originally born in Ecuador 🇪🇨 but I am also half Dutch 🇳🇱 half Italian 🇮🇹 and I’m currently living in the uk 🇬🇧 I love the world 💜🌎and so I have a few suggestions for you to cake: 1. A world cake having all 195 countries on it ( the countries could be drawn with a food marker on edible paper and then stuck on the globe cake or they could be made out of fondant or modelling chocolate with a template as you always do on the channel) . P.s: I know the work to copy 195 is a bit tedious but I think it’s totally worth the effort! 2. My home country Ecuador 🇪🇨 is famous for being one of the biggest cocoa and banana producers in the world so since you’ve caked a banana already… why not cake a cocoa bean? It could be one with cocoa butter buttercream! This would be soo cool and delicious!😋 3. Hi, it’s me again!! I think another cool idea would be something astrologically related. You can make 12 5 or 6 inches cakes that not only are decorated to be on theme with the zodiac signs but also have cake and buttercream flavors that correspond with each signs’ personality and characteristics

I love your channel. My mother God rest her soul used to love the snowball cakes by hostess back in the day. It was chocolate center with cream n marshmallow on top with pink coconut. Your Halloween cakes are especially fun and creative. As a Mexican though, have you considered making a cake of a Day of the Dead skull? I don't know if you've seen pictures of our sugar skulls but they're the centerpiece in the altars we install every late October/early November and they're basically the image we all most associate to the date. So yeah, I thought about that. Regardless, I'm sure you'll get a lot of great ideas and you'll materialize them to perfection. Keep up the good work!

Orhan made me think of a frozen garden pond with jelly shaped fish like Koi and other colourful fish, maybe surround the pond with a curved wall of rocks made of cake. Also as a challenge you could try making fish out of the Japanese candy that people make crystal shapes from but the fish could be put into moulds

I loved the slab cake idea, like storybook/storyboard or to be more accurate a cakebook kind of cake, maybe you could make parts of it on custom cake boards like the fidget spinner cake, and it could make some of the slab actually interactive, so the slab can spread across the table but in different heights and some of it will move and turn as a part of the cakebook

Several years ago, we visited New York City over the American Thanksgiving weekend and enjoyed looking at the beautiful windows decorated for the holidays. One of them, I think Anthropologie, had giant letters spelling out words like JOY, LOVE, HOPE, surrounded by wooden models of animals that are used for wool, like llamas, alpacas, sheep. The letters themselves were covered with different types of crafts made from wool, like crossstiching, knitting, crocheting, needlepointing. Those letters have intrigued me ever since. I think it would be so interesting to see you create a cake, perhaps in the shape of a sweater or a letter, that was covered with icing that looked like the wool crafts. I’m imagining your skill at forming the icing in different ways, so that it cleared looked like each kind of craft.

You could draw inspiration from different countries and cake things from each one. Like Australia, you could cake iconic things that everybody recognizes. This idea is similar to Bake My Mimo and her world doll cakes, where she picks a country and features the authentic clothing style as the dress of the doll cake.

Idea for the giant slab cake - a story of the 4 seasons! Or for winter theme I loved the knitted sweater idea. For other cake themes, there's so many animals for you to cake and as a zoologist I'd love to see more! Maybe really unusual ones like a pangolin or a naked mole rat! I did an armadillo cake once and that turned out surprisingly well. I always love your novelty cakes so more of those on the channel please!

I have been summoned! Hi, Yo (and Orhan and HTCI team). I'm from Malaysia and we have a selection of kuih muih (official translation said cakes but it is a mix of cakes and pastries). Some might overlapped from our neighboring countries (we tend to be very passionate about our food) but maybe you can try and make any, some you should keep the traditional method and look (like puteri ayu or seri muka) or you can modernise it (like pandan gula melaka cake). Have fun!

For winter ideas how about things around nature. For example a bird feeder hanging with some of the birds that would come to it. A cave with hibernating bears, a tree with icicles dropping off it. A porch scene with a table with hot chocolate and breakfast.

For the hot chocolate ball, you could make a sphere tempered chocolate shell and then pour hot melted chocolate on top and on the inside you could have a cake in the shape of a mug of hot chocolate. That way you can still do a chocolate pour!

Chocolate bars and chocolate bombs made me think of Lindt balls… a giant selection of chocolate-covered cake balls each with a different flavour (strawberry, mint, hazelnut etc etc), coated with white chocolate, milk, dark (use fondant or whatever you think works best). Have you seen/heard of/tasted Mozart balls?! The originals are called Mozartkugel and there are cake recipes combining the flavours (pistachio marzipan, hazelnut ganache and crisp dark chocolate shell). One massive Mozart ball cake would be delicious though probably not visually exciting (unless you can create an edible foil to a wrap it in…). The only Winter themed things I can think of are blankets, fake fur throws, hot water bottles, and space heaters (surely there’s a pun just asking to made). Whatever you do it’ll be awesome. Stay warm!

Candy bar ideas: Whatchamacallit because it’s fun to say and Zero bar because you’ll have to pour white chocolate on top, which is very satisfying. Theme ideas: 3D board games, please! Hungry hungry hippo, Cats Eye, Mouse Trap, Gone Fishin’, Dinosaur Escape, Jumpin’ Monkey, Guess Who, and crocodiles dentist. For a slab cake, we know Halloween is far away, but what about a multi flavored graveyard? Love the channel! Love the books!
