This cake goes way back. I made this many times back in the day. My recipe had cinnamon added to the dry ingredients. Also added to the frosting. It’s a favorite of many.

Marshall that is a chocolate cake that I would be proud to take to any get together the only drawback is it taste so good that I try your recipes on my neighbors and they want to move in with me at my house which ain’t a problem but I already got a house full with my roommates I know they won’t mind but I’m trying to figure out what I’m gonna tell the city it all started with cooking with recipes from a Christian young man Cooking Boy Cooking with Marshall Praise The Lord OH I must let you know about your crinkle cookies, crinkle cake cookies I used a lemon cake mix. I used a little bit of lemon juice from a fresh lemon and I used a little bit of lemon zest. Oh my goodness gracious that is a must that you must try. I made it with my roommates five year old daughter, what a thrill it was for her. She was ready to eat them as soon as I came out of the oven hot I kept telling her we gotta wait. We gotta wait 10 minutes to her seem like forever, but once she got a hold of that it was oh boy she was waiting to see who this country boy cooking with Marshall was I can’t thank you enough for these recipes they are simply amazing and they bring back a lot of good memories for me.
