You guys make things so simple to understand. I truly appreciate it. I have been trying to become plant based for a long time but it seemed so daunting and I have been a mostly unhealthy vegan. The way you guys explain it, seems doable for me.

Love your videos and recipes! ❤I’ve recently went vegan after I completed my breast cancer treatments last year. Some people poo poo on smoothies and say they make you gain weight and you don’t get enough nutrition from them. I totally disagree as I look forward to my smoothies and it’s so easy to get a ton of nutrients in one drink! Drink up! ❤🥰

The thought of celery freaks me out, I'm hightly allergic to it, can't say the word 😳😬😱 here in Ireland we call oatmeal porridge oats before its cooked and when its cooked it's called porridge, put some of the oats in a saucepan add either water or milk and cook, I don't add anything to mine, no fruit of honey just milk,yum

Throughout my life I’ve done many different food lifestyles- vegan 20+ years ago for health benefits- then I have done raw/cooked vegetarian 80/20. Now I eat seafood and poultry in moderation- never red meat! But I just wanted to say even for us out here I am so inspired by you both. Eating more plants doesn’t do anything but magic for our bodies- thanks for the positive outlook and great vibes. *fyi using my daughters RU-vid account 😊

In summer we like to make what we call grain salad which is basically a grain, a green, a few veggies, dried fruit (like sun dried tomatoes or chopped dried cherries), a nut or seed, something pickled and a homemade dressing. It makes a huge batch that we can eat for a few days and is great when we go to summer bbqs with family because it is a whole meal for us and our family seems to really like it too.

My body finds it hard to digest when I eat mostly raw, especially raw veg. I get all manner of gastro issues, gas, bloating and feel really uncomfortable. How do you manage it?
high carb all day everyday😍once i made the switch to a high fruit diet and stopped forcing myself to eat animal protein, my trainer herself noticed a big change in my performance during our training sessions…i did not even tell her about my dietary change and i’m planning to keep it as my little secret because i know what the views are like in today’s fitness world

Question though: can’t you gain weight though from eating way too much fruit since it’s packed with sugars ? I mean I know it’s natural sugar but still… just wondering
It’s all about calories in vs calories out! Fruit is still lower in calories than most other foods you could be eating… it’s very difficult to eat too much of anyway because your body is much better at signaling when it’s full from whole raw foods!
I tend to buy all the necessities once a week as well, then plan on making whatever suits our family for that day, instead of meal planning. I love your videos and always look forward to watching them. You are both so inspiring and encouraging. We have three little girls and constantly finding ways to make the day more nutrient dense for them, not doing the status quo. I recently started giving them each a fruit smoothie in the morning with chias and plant based milk, a great way to start the day for them. Could you please do a video on kids health and diet?
