I think the West underestimates the fact that they can stop this war at any moment via negotiations. Idk if it's cuz english isn't your 1st language but I think collapsed is the wrong word. The only time there was a front line collapse was when the Ukranians couldn't hold the advance towards Pokrovsk which they now have somewhat shored up. I think 'crumbling' describes the front line much better. Russia is making gains slowly but surely and Ukraine is getting more and more into trouble
