Oh from the begining she was a liar and an actress! Look at her from the court room. Pink blouse_pouty look at the jury- with a defense attorney telling her to.look in a mirror and practice the look. As uf she would ever livwith out a mirror. I suspected him to be emotionally caught uo with her and he gave her the idea of sexual involvement to flip the jury on their head throwing that curve ! I saw through this ugly spoiled childs attitude from the start. Look at the film she made where the camera was on her as she drove away!! Oh for Pete sake! An actress !she is! Her parents atittude before the poly. Exam was and continues to be..discusted for all they have done for her! How dare they throw her aparty and she didn't graduate!! All for Casey! Every day of her life they covered for her and she manipulated it all. Actress! Yes! User Yes! She was never going to be a full time mother to that child and her parents knew it and loved that little Calley as their own. Casey and Jodi Arius, actresses but both are so9 much alike. Jodi lives every day Acting! Now she paints and makes money..another star for her just like when she broke into a grid when at the end of the interview he dropped his head and she grinned as though..I won! I broke him. She couldn't get any where with me because for one she is in high alert to read you to make her moves so is Casey. There needs to be an assessment for a diagnosis of both of these women as their lives are spent each day as an allusion of their reality by living, acting all through the day! Two sick people,. Casey's parents are discusted with her lack of love and respect for them and that she would kill her daughter and party. That's thee epitomy of lack of reality for her! Who sees this through? I do!

I believe any guilty knowledge he was showing during the exam is based in the fact that he was a police officer and I truly think he started putting 2 and 2 together before his wife called 911. I think his gut was telling him something that he refused to accept in his mind and therefore he’s hesitant to answer because he knew deep down when Casey’s car smelled like death and she took his shovel that his daughter killed his granddaughter. I just think as a father he refused to accept what he already knew until it became known to the world and now he blames himself for something that wasn’t his fault. Who would want to believe such evil could come from their own child.

Felt the same way watching this. I don't believe anything Casey says, her lies were absurd during trial and yet she was rewarded for those lies. Like Greg says "the organism does what makes the organism successful". Casey killed her daughter and continues to try and bury her parents, especially George. How he has managed to stay sane while dealing with his grief over losing his precious grand daughter, the press, the trial and Casey's vile lies is beyond me. I’m an 81-year-old mother and grandmother, and I just don’t understand the vilification of George Anthony regarding his comment about missing the “sweet smell of sweat” on his granddaughter as he hugged her. To use this comment in order to portray him as a pedo*hile is ridiculous. I immediately knew what he meant and I don’t understand why some others do not. At my advanced age, I still remember kissing my babies on the back of their head and neck as I held them and loving how they smelled. Such smells, especially as they relate to loving someone, are embedded in our brains forever. Ask any expert. And whether it is sweat or not doesn’t matter; how your children (or grandchildren) smell is so distinct and sweet, and it just reinforces the love you have for them. Mothers of all species-and perhaps, in humans, fathers and grandparents-are drawn to the smell of the babies they love, and it reinforces the love they have for them and the instinct to protect them. I noticed, however, some commentators here-who do not even have children, but instead have dogs that they love-equate that distinct smell that emanates from their dogs as something unique, and they say that it reinforces their love for their dogs. Who can ever forget the sweet smell of puppies that they have loved? IMO, to vilify George Anthony for remembering the sweet smell of sweat on his granddaughter as he hugged her after a fun time playing outdoors with her is ridiculously judgmental and an affront to a normal, innocent, human sensory memory that is embedded in his brain and connected to happier times spent with his granddaughter. I don’t know why this sensory memory is not discussed more and is misinterpreted as something evil in George Anthony.

Then she needs a defence for her trial and she chucks them under the bus to save her own pathetic skin. She was a grown adult. If things were so bad for her and Caylee why not just up and leave. In the testimony of George Anthony at trial trial, Jeff Ashton asked George whether he had sexually abused his daughter. He paused for such a long time before saying "no" that I have often thought that the jury was swayed in favor of Casey's story of childhood abuse. He said later that he was thinking about the relationship he had always had with Casey and was having a problem coping with such a horrible thought. In the A&E program, he did the same thing. I was absolutely amazed, but I do not think he was a sexual abuser., mainly because she did not come up with the "my-father-abused-me" story until after her daughter's remains had been found, and the medical examiner said the case was a "dry bones case" meaning that the cause of death could not be determined, although the manner was homicide.

Right and that’s why polygraphs are accepted in court-oh wait, they’re not. Guilty people can beat them and innocent people can fail them.
@wygantsh
@wygantsh 5 месяцев назад
Polygraph evidence is often used in Courts. They are admissible when the parties stipulate to their admission. New Mexico allows polygraph evidence per se. Police and child protective services often rely on polygraph evidence to help them in their investigation into crimes and child abuse. I am a forensic psychologist and the relevant research shows that it is extremely difficult for guilty people to pass a polygraph with no deception indicated. The cut off scores are designed to account for the statistical margin of error. For example if the cut off score is +4 and -4 that means any score between those two points is deemed inconclusive. That means there is an 8 point margin of error to account for variance in charts between what an examinee's known lie charts look like compared to the known truth charts compared to the unknown relevant test question charts. There is a valid and reliable science behind the accuracy of polygraph examinations. If you bothered to read the science and work with polygraph examiners as I have for the past 10 years across 450 plus cases in 46 states you might have a different opinion

Okay. I am going to give an opinion. I lost my husband 5 years ago. Everyone had been drinking (besides myself because I was pregnant) and I was heading upstairs to show my SIL the guest room. My late husband was walking outside to talk to my BIL. My gut instinct... was make him go to bed, and in my head I thought, nah let the boys stay up. 10 minutes later I came downstairs and they weren't on the porch and I assumed they were playing with the pigs (we have rescue pigs). I started doing dishes and felt like something was wrong. I ignored it for a second, and then it was a feeling in my bones. Something was wrong. I ran outside and saw his car and didn't see mine. Ran around looking for his keys and drove 1/4 mile down the road to see 2 fire trucks, 6 cop cars, and 2 ambulances. I knew he was gone, but kept telling myself he wasn't. It gets worse but that's the part of the story I needed to tell in order to get my point. If I were attached to a lie detector right now. I couldn't say I didn't know. While I didn't know at the time that he took my car, it made sense. I knew he was gone, but I assumed they were giving the pigs peanuts. At the time, I wouldn't have ever thought he would have taken my car when I was 34 weeks pregnant and driven drunk. In saying that, it makes sense, because my BIL was upset and had been asking all week how fast my car went. My husband would have showed him to cheer him up. So despite not knowing what happened, I did know. Which is why I struggle with guilt 5 years later. Now, here's what I think. George had noticed Caylee being kind of out of it some mornings after Casey had gone out. Maybe some of his medicines were running low. Maybe he had started putting 2 and 2 together. Then, when they got the car and it had the smell. He knew Caylee was gone. Working for the police he knew she had to be close by. But, in his head and heart, he knew she was gone, but Casey had put her somewhere close. With hindsight being 20/20, he's been blaming himself ever since. He saw the signs, but he didn't put it together fast enough. Just like I didn't. That's a guilty conscience. Not because he did anything wrong. He didn't. But because he didn't listen to some instinct at some point, so now he lives with the blame. Our situations are so different, but the things he was saying. I've said 100 times. He has a guilty conscience for something that he didn't do. So there are some things that he may have had an instinct about, but never acted on. Those mental playbacks are the equivalent of guilt when you know one different decision could have changed everything. I empathize with him so much here, and he just needs a hug and for someone to tell him the world needs him too.

I think this too. As a father, he knew and was resigned to what Casey is. As a former cop, when Caylee hadn't been seen for a while, he started suspecting something very bad had happened, recognised that Cindy hadn't realised yet, and decided there was not much to be done until the situation developed, because Cindy wouldn't accept it until then, and he didn't want to make claims he had no evidence for. I think he's also resigned to Casey making her false claims about his behaviour because of what she is. I think Cindy may be someone who thinks it's unseemly to exhibit emotions to others, hence her fixed stares as she fights not to express what she is feeling. I feel sorry for both of them, and for Caylee.

For me it's like Casey has been handed a screenplay and has memorized all of her lines and how she's going to act when she's asked those certain questions. Casey has such a grudge against George because she couldn't fool him. He never believed anything she said about Caylee's disappearance/death, whereas Cindy really wanted to believe her. He already knew what she was before it happened, and I think he thought he could make sure everything's was alright if they were living in his house. I think that's why he tried to take his life- not necessarily because his granddaughter was gone, but because he didn't save her and he couldn't handle the guilt. Think about it. That's a man's main job- to keep his family safe, and in his eyes he failed (it's obviously not his fault at all). Plus, men just shoulder all that, and don't talk about it. I feel so bad for him.
