Love this! And I admire Bev for her integrity and mission to bring these groundbreaking products to us. The fact that she is trying to make these affordable so we can all reap the benefits of this incredible science. Thank you Mary for inspiring us to try yet another new product :) Your skin has been absolutely glowy, which makes me think whatever you're using is working. Thank you both! Cant' wait to try this. ... Blessings
Interestingly the LLLT CAP I’ve used for 10 years uses pulsed light. It was available by Rx only from my hairloss specialist back in the day. So excited to hear about this protocol for skin rejuvenation. Not surprised Bev & Maysama are leading the way 🙌
Hi Mary I so enjoyed making this video with you. Thank you so much for your wonderful support. I’m loving seeing your channel go from strength to strength. 💚
Hi Bev and Mary, I have recently bought the little gem that is the Urchin and I absolutely ADORE it!! It is so relaxing to use - like a facial massage - which obvs means that I actually look forward to using it in the evening, and I can use it anywhere - often watching netflix!!!!! I just have a question please, I may be using the incorrect products with it as I get confused between what is oil-based and what is water-based - sometimes I find it hard to determine which serums are which. I obvs use my green rooibos serum but I also have the new No. 7 eye and face serum (the green one that has the 'secret ingredient' - the Future Renew?) and I am not sure if this is correct or not? Please help!!!! Thank you both. xx
WOW what an amazing video!! This is information that needs shouted from rooftops!! I also use red light LED mask, along with a separate eye LED mask. I'm sold on this science and technology! How exciting!! I've also wanted a panel, and I'm absolutely amazed at how affordable this one is! Yes, it is expensive, but in the grand scheme of red light LED, this is a true bargain!!! Side note, I agree with the previous comment about your bangs! You look amazing! I've been considering cutting bangs myself and I'm about to schedule an appt now to get it done! I love all your videos, you're such a joy to watch -;so intelligent and honest, there's no BS here! Love it! ❤❤❤
Thank you so much - you've totally made my day 😊 I've wanted a panel for a while now so timing was perfect on this! I've slowly increasing the pulse and am now up to 1 min continuous and 6 minutes pulse. I love it! And thank you for the bangecompliment....I have to admit, I'm kicking myself for not doing it sooner!
@gratitude2880 hello! I use the current body led eye mask. The other one I looked at was the Dr Dennis Gross LED eye mask. With coupon codes and a sale, the current body mask was less $ for what I feel is slightly better quality. I love it!! Good luck to you !
Thank you both so much for all of this knowledge shared with all of us. I have been contemplating buying a red light device so I decided to buy the Urchin once I watched this video. I love the pulse and the massage, I am so happy I made this purchase. I’ve been using the green roobius serum for about 6 months for the antioxidants benefits as well as using it with my Nuface device. I am loooking forward to seeing some results soon!!
Super interesting. Like you I’ve used Omnilux on my face and neck for a long time-it’s the one modality I am very consistent with and definitely can attribute great results. I’ve always wanted a panel mainly to reach the area around my mouth where the mask doesn’t get. Unfortunately the Maysama rooibos serum didn’t work for me-my skin is generally not sensitive but something about green and rooibos topically doesn’t agree with my skin. I have been using DRMTLG needlessness serum or a copper peptide serum before LED. This product is on my radar for Black Friday ! 😀
I've been using the Omnilux face and neck masks for a couple of years and I'm convinced they've been helpful. Unfortunately, the cord on my neck mask is suffering from fatigue (probably because I use it for many different body parts) and has been getting increasing fussy with operating properly so I'm looking at replacing it with a panel. They are all so expensive so I"m trying to determine which one (brand) I should put on my wish list. Now you've added a nugget that I hadn't considered and need to expand my search!
Very informative, appreciated it - i've been looking at alternatives as my Omnilux Face seems to be fading after a year of use - MORE IMPORTANTLY: are there reports of migraines triggered by pulse LED? by Maysama LED Pulse devices specifically? thank you
Glad it was helpful! Below is a response from Bev at Maysama: We have sold thousands of units at this stage and only had two customers report that our Pulse40 panel has triggered migraine for them. Both these customers were pre-disposed to migraines. One swapped their panel for our PRANA mask and had no further issues. A small percentage of customers are sensitive to light induced migraine (less than 0.1%), with or without pulsed light, and our products carry a warning on the product page, to advise customers before purchase; *If you are sensitive to light induced headaches, do not purchase this product. If used responsibly (with goggles) and customers are not pre-disposed to light-sensitive migraine, the risk is minimal. Incidentally, whilst we help educate consumers about the benefits of pulsed LED, it is not unique to Maysama's products. Penn Smith uses a full body panel with pulsed LED (not sure of the brand). Any perceived risk is not specific to Maysama's devices.
@@SkinObsessedMary thank you for responding so fully - initial concern arose from having for the first time learned of the pulsing red light feature - happily i can add that the Maysama gua sha with red light has been surprisingly effective in a livelier - yes, lively! - appearance of the skin on my neck - gua sha manipulation encourages blood flow, so that adds to the red light & product routine
No, not at all. It's just that I have more time at night. Since I like to use the Maysama Green Rooibos Serum, they suggest waiting 15-20 minutes before you LED. I'm just too rushed in the am.
You've reviewed several red light masks/panels and devices within the last 2 month to 2 years. For panels or masks - which one do you personally use? for other red light hand held devices do you still use them and if so how do you incorporate them into your skin care routine if you are also using the mask/panel? Trying to make some decision on what to upgrade and what is a time waster and would appreciate your recommendations.
That is such a good question! I personally prefer a panel because it covers more surface area (I can do my face, neck and chest in 1 go) but I think it's totally dependent on how you want to use it. It's what I use 90% of the time. But, I always travel with a mask because I like to use, even when I'm away. I use LED 5-6x a week (there's always a day or 2 I can't get to it) in the evening. I double cleanse, mist + apply Maysama Green Rooibos serum (and wait 15 minutes if I use continuous light or not at all if pulse light). This serum boots effectiveness of LED by more than 200% so I never LED without it. I buy in bulk pack of 3 (with my own discount code of course 🤣) I also just got the Maysama pulse light mask (gifted) and that will now be the one I travel with. Pulse light is more effective at product penetration so I'm hooked. I hope that helps. I use a lot of different types of devices but LED is hands-down my favourite ❤️
@@SkinObsessedMary thank you for such a detailed reply!!! One question I had related to the use of both the panel/make and the handheld LED devices. If you are using the LED Mask or panel 5-6 times a week for the recommended treatment time, how do you incorporate the handheld devices that also include LED?
@@wkgeneralwkgeneral527 If you're talking about products like the Maysama Urchin, I use both. The red light on those devices are moving, so the concentration of LED is a less. I actually asked Maysama that same question and they confirmed it's ok to use both within the same routine. So that's what I do!
@@SkinObsessedMary awesome! Exactly the question I was wondering about. I was afraid that using a hand held device along with a panel would be overkill. Glad it’s not!!
I’m very interested in purchasing the Maysama light panel but it looks like they don’t have a return policy for instance if you have skin irritation or perhaps see no results. This makes me wary of purchasing. I’ve asked them through their chat but no response yet. Can you speak to this.
The company can not control the results. It can not guarantee anything because everyone is different and a lot depends on the user. They can not control the amount or frequency of use by the user, that is up to you. I see a huge difference in my skin but I am addicted to red light.
I've seen discussions about it but I haven't come across any research. I do know there are products that have trays with LED but I personally haven't used any. Maybe I need to try for a video?
Your wrong about pulsing red led lights. LED lights were not used in the study’s back in the day when the experts saw pulsing light as a good thing, they used Laser lights. So there’s a fallacy in what your promoting, I do use a red light panel Myself. You’re basically cutting your red light therapy session in half, because the leds turn on and off.
Well just in case, led pulsing lights are effective, I’ll make sure my full size panel (that I am planning on buying) does have that option. But will look even more into this subject. I was on the pulsing band wagon until I went down that rabbit hole. And the “experts” have said, pulsating led red lights cut your therapy session in half. I am open to changing my mind. I Will have to do more RU-vid research. 😎
