Thank you for being one of the first few people to do a proper, honest review of the NIRA products despite them(NIRA) sending you complemetary devices; most others would have not made a video or felt pressured to say good things about NIRA if they didn't purchase the device. I just subscribed to your channel after watching this video. Keep up the good work. lots of love, Ananya
Hi, @monicadhanraj11 If there are specific concerns you have, we're here to address them and provide more information to help you make an informed decision.
Wow…I thought I was the only one who wasn’t getting results from the Nira. I have noticed deeper wrinkles in my eye area since I started using it too! But, because everyone on social media was singing its praises, I thought I was doing something wrong. After watching your video I feel vindicated! Thank you for your honest review! I look forward to your videos each week.❤
We're genuinely sorry to hear that you didn’t experience the expected results. While 9 out of 10 users report significant improvements, individual responses can vary. That is why we do offer a 90-day money-back guarantee for our customers to try out the device before fully committing to the purchase, so they can get a feel for it and see how it works with their skin type.
I looked VERY closely to the before/after pics on Nira’s site and I honestly did not notice ANY improvement in the under eye area. I thought it was me. So THANK YOU very much for the validation. I’m not shaming the product but once you said your under eyes became dryer … that did it. Thank you for helping me save $$ ❤❤❤
Ok, has anyone else noticed that since Mary posted this video on the Niro results being not so spectacular for some, other negative reviews started flowing?😍 Way to go Mary for leading the charge!!! Also, beyond50skin did an excellent job as well!!!! Thank you ladies!
Honestly, I think many bloggers may not be honest with their reviews. I used the original Nira 90 days or more twice a day as recommended both on my eyes and nasal labial folds and even upper lips and saw only original plumpness from the inflammation and nothing else. Waste of money as I missed the dateline to return it. Better off using face threads and other home tx that have true data to show it works.
or it can also mean they are just being paid by a company competitor. Because beauty beyond 50 had a positive review on Nira before, even using obviously photoshopped pictures from their website
@@providencephelps1497 I have been using it daily for 4 months and unfortunately, it hasn't done much for my wrinkles around my eyes. I don't see much improvement and I feel it was a waste of money.
Results may vary depending on how your skin reacts to the treatment, which is why Nira generously offers a 90-day money-back guarantee program. We have a larger number of satisfied customers compared to those who did not respond well to the treatment.
Thank you for an honest review about Nira. I have watched so many reviews on this and most influencers will say how great it works, but in their before and after pictures there is literally no difference. None! I would never waste my money on this.
I was interested in getting the Pro if there was a good Black Friday deal but now I am seriously reconsidering. Thank you for sharing your photos and review! I could feel how disappointed you were but your after photos are still gorgeous!
Hot&flashy has a SHORT using the Nyra pro and she posted some before and after photo and her results are mind blowing, maybe it depends from person to person dunno 🤷♀️
@@aeriz85she saw improvements mostly on her neck. I dont know what to think. She gets commissions so she might have wishful thinking. I didn’t see results with the precision and I did it 2x a day
Ive been using the Nira Precision since Feb 2022.. My nasolabial lines are incredibly improved. I no longer have the marionette lines. But my crows feet haven't changed. Plumping around my lips have definitely improved. But the jury is still out on my undereyes. I bought the Pro a couple months ago and I do use it AND the Precision around my eyelids. I see changes, but not really improvement. But the mouth and marionette lines are 100% improved
Hi. You mentioned the Precision one improved the marionette lines, and you also use the Pro. In your experience, which device is better for that area (around the mouth)?
Love, love, love your honesty! A+++ First, let me say that I'm 62 years old and loved the Florida sun growing up! And yes, no sunscreen:( I wish these videos were around when I was in my 40's because I would have done things differently. I'm sure a lot of women my age feel that way. Now it's a race to see results as soon as possible. My experience with the Nira (remember my age) for the past year has not been great! At first, I "thought" I was seeing progress, but as time went on I had mixed feelings. Really felt like I was doing something wrong, everyone swore by this device!??. Glad to know that it wasn't me. Mary, I'm not one to leave comments but I wanted you to know how much you are appreciated for your honesty and content! Can't wait to "see" what's next!🥰
Oh wow, thank you so much. You just made my day 😊 Like you the Florida sun did a number on my skin (I'm a Jacksonville girl!) and I'm spending a lot of time and energy (and money!) repairing some of the damage. But who am I kidding...I do enjoy it! And I will persevere 😂 😂
We can totally tell that you love what you do! 🤩My husband was born and raised in Jacksonville and knows Jax Beach quite well! lol We left Florida 35 years old (it's our anniversary this month) but visit several times a year between Jax and South Florida which is where I'm from. Small world! Sorry, getting back to skin care😘what is your opinion on the Nira Serum and have you found a dupe$$? There is something in there that makes my skin feel amazing. Other hyaluronic acid don't make my skin feel like this one does. It's like a second skin after you apply it but it does not play well with others:( *Only plus with the Nira experience. Have a fantastic weekend😀@@SkinObsessedMary
@@donnamcclure1722 ah no way - small world! I was born in Neptune beach, right next door. My mom moved from Jax to California this summer so I prob won’t be back much. I left in 1989 so it’s been a long, long time. As for the HA serum, I didn’t get that in the package so I haven’t tried. I’ve heard it’s good though. Is it too expensive to repurchase?
@@SkinObsessedMary No way Mary!!! We left 1988;( Sorry to hear that you will probably not go back. The East and west coast of Florida is beautiful! But so is California 👍🏻 The serum is $49 for 1.7oz😳 Like you, I like to spend the big bucks on the big hitters! Let me know if you find that magic pill lol💕
I just posted a 90 days result BUT I used it on upper lip and 11's and it worked slightly. However, on Reddit, I read to use it like 2-3 times a week vs daily as recommended BECAUSE if it builds collagen, it needs time to to do that and if used daily, its just breaking down the new collegian if that makes sense. I am trying it on a higher level 3 days a week for another 90 days now.
Exactly. I used my Nira 2x a day for the first 30 days. I backed off to once a day and started seeing better results, but still minimal. I watched La Bella Vanity's video about Nira and am now using it first thing in the morning before washing off the night priors skincare rather than in the evenings and this has helped a lot. I'm hoping to get better results by backing off using it as frequently as I was. I am 50 so I know I'm not cranking out the collagen like I was 20 years ago. Your comment is spot on❤️
I just started using the Omnilux, and wonder if I should back off using 5 times per week for the same reason. I know it’s a different technology but have started noticing little red splotches on my skin.
I appreciate your honesty, Mary. I have had a negative experience using the Omnilux red light mask. I now have pigmentation on my face where there was none before. I cannot get influencers to talk about this negative side effect, but I am definitely not alone. Now I probably need laser treatments to fix the damage. So depressing.
Oh dear. I'm so sorry to hear that. I have been using LED every day (or 6 days a week) for 2 years and I swear by it. Honestly, if i had a problem with it, I'd be talking bout it. May ask...do you have light skin or darker? I have heard it can cause pigmentation on much darker skin. I personally have found that my malasma (which flares in the summer) is calmed by it.
Hi Mary, I tried this device for about 3 weeks. I had to return it because my delicate Irish skin could not tolerate it. It burned so badly. I didn’t have an actual burn, but it felt that way. The company told me I was using it wrong, but finally accepted the return and refunded my money. I’m so glad I’m not the only one that had a negative experience
You are definitely not alone. I tried the Precision for a few months and didn't see any improvement. It also caused a reddened skin patch under one eye which did go away after I stopped using it. If anyone wants mine they can have it for a great price!
What I find amazing is that comments tend to support the video: if the review is good, the comments are good, if the review is bad, the comments ar bad. I've watched many videos about Nira and I just don't know what to think: some influencers and their community are raving about it, some are criticizing. I just bought it to see it for myself. Let's see how it goes! I will report after four weeks.
Yeah that IS interesting! I had a very long chat with the founder of Nira after this video went out and he had a really good point....68% of people have incredibly good results. I obviously wasn't in that percentile. People I trust and admire LOVE this device. My only regret is that I didn't stop when I saw the negative results. I kept going, thinking it would turn around some stage. I knew pretty early on that my skin was becoming severely dry. Just trust your skin. And good luck!
@@SkinObsessedMary I wished I'd have taken such good before and afters, but I do so many other things I figured it was futile. I will say that I started for a while doing one side Nira, the other Palovia. It's an older device and the downside is it causes swelling, redness (which subsides quickly). I got lazy about that but quite honestly, think IT (Palovia) is more effective. I'm not sure I believe all that Dr Abs says, but his review on the Nira is scathing.
Aloha Mary, Awesome video! Finally someone who experienced the same things I did with the Nira precision. I used the Nira Precision under my eyes for 90 days a few years ago. I found that is destroyed my eye area. Completely depleted the fat cells in the skin. I was left with super thin, severely dehydrated wrinkled sagging skin. It has taken me two years to restore the skin around my eyes. I’ve had quite a few of my audience members who have experienced negative results from the Nira. We have fat cells in our dermal layer of the skin, I believe the heat from the Nira laser’s degenerate those cells which will result in loosing plumpness in the skin seeing more wrinkles, and possibly sagging skin. Those with thinner skin, meaning less collagen are more susceptible to these negative effects versus someone with thicker skin. Wishing you a fabulous weekend friend! Xoxo
I realized this happened form NuFace, while it helped my sagging skin, it made my face seem very thin. I stopped for eyebrow micro blading and that's how I figured it out.
I use this device, and it has helped soften static wrinkles under the eye. Just by pure chance, I haven't used it as diligently as you, and this, as per other comments, might have saved me from getting more static wrinkles and drying out the under eye. I refrained from purchasing the larger size because it seemed like a repeat purchase to me, and now I am glad that I didn't. Thanks for this honest review.
Thank you so much for your honesty. I am so tired of people lying because it's more than likely a sponsored video. I instantly subscribed because I know I will get an honest review here. Your skin will recover I would however stop using those devices asap. ❤
I was literally going to hit the button today and order one of these...thank you for sharing. I'm 59 and my eyes are my biggest concern. I love my Omnilux mask and micro current for my face but am searching for something that targets all around the eye but don't want to waste my money for no results or reverse results...so I totally appreciate your honest review💕😊
I was hugely disappointed. But I may be having a call with the founder to get his thoughts (they reached out after this vide) and I'd be keen to see if there's a better way. I actually found the Pro a joy to use.
I've been waiting for this review! Yep, the precision hurts. I used the precision every day for a year and it took me 6 months to tolerate level 4/5. After a year (no botox nothing while I was trying this) there was absolutely no change in my crows feet lines, nada. My under eyes are worse but I'm not sure if it's the NIRA or aging. I'm planning to get a top up PRF treatment (which I've done before with lovely results) to re-plump the under eye area. Sorry you experienced this as well and thanks for sharing your results.
on the other hand, not having your crows feet get worse during a year is also a great result (cuz you're like aging with the duration of time so they should've become worse)
I had the same issue. Thank you for validating the results I had at mt end. I have been very confused by the results and I thought I was seeing things. My face looks worse! This was too expensive of an experiment to keep going, especially what seems to be reverse results for me. I will be sticking with retina and Vitamin C!
Omg, I thought I was going crazy when my wrinkles were getting worse. I stopped and was planning to figure out if I was doing something wrong. THANK YOU for this video! I have both types of Nira- $100’s down the drain. 😩
I have the original Nira. I used it sporadically but I noticed that immediately after using the Nira my wrinkles seemed more pronounced. I thought maybe this was a temporary effect But I did not use it consistently. I’m glad I watched your video and I will no longer use it at all. I had watched several reviews reporting great results and thought maybe it was my imagination that my wrinkles were worse. Thank you!
Appreciate your openness & honesty. You shouldn’t have to feel afraid to say your results. You gave it your all & wanted the best. It stinks that you didn’t get any good results from it. Regardless you look incredible. 💖😊
Hi, @cindypowell6358 If there are specific concerns you have, we're here to address them and provide more information to help you make an informed decision.
I'm not sure but I used the Nira precision around my eyes for a few months. Not consistent but I stopped using it. But lately I have noticed the creepiness on my eyelids is gone and I have no hooding on my eyes. I've done a lot of lasers over the years been a long time since last professional treatment. I think you have to give it a break and collagen will build over time so you may not see it when you're using it on a consistent basis. It could be my skin care that is working too, love Truth Treatments. Lasers have always done amazing things for my skin and the guy that puts out this laser I believe creates lasers for the professionals.
I just received my NIRA Pro and am wondering if the Precision is what made your eye area worse? I haven't begun using mine yet. I'm glad I saw this and thank you for your honesty.

Hi, @sw_0005 Absolutely, you're completely right. The skin around the eyes is incredibly delicate and needs extra care to avoid dryness and irritation. If there are specific concerns you have, we're here to address them and provide more information to help you make an informed decision.
So glad I saw your video today as I was thinking about purchasing one on sale. No thank you.but thank you Mary for sharing your experience with everyone.
But you know, it's worked wonders for a lot of people! I've had similar experiences with other devices I know have delivered incredible results for others. I guess it's not one-size-fits-all
I just subscribed after reading your review. I have both NIRA devices and now I am happy I didn’t use them much. They just seemed too harsh for the delicate eye area. I might try them in other areas, but not my eye area. I too bought the Venus and like it. Thank you for an honest review!
It's important to find what works best for your skin, and we appreciate your feedback on using NIRA devices around the eye area. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
Actually the second photos really look good. You WILL get very dry after using several types of lasers but during the “break” stage be sure to use excellent skin care and it should correct
Thank you so much for your honest video! I also didn't get any improvement under the eyes with Nira laser and stopped using it. Also because I was afraid that the heat would destroy the under eye fat and the area would become more hollow. I'm trying PRF under the eyes right now, but can't give a final verdict after the second treatment (you're supposed to do at least 3 treatments). ❤
@@SkinObsessedMary I can now tell you about my experience with PRF under the eyes. I had a total of three treatments, each one month apart. Immediately after the treatments, I was initially quite swollen under my eyes. You shouldn't have an event for a few days afterwards 😉 For six months, the result looked really good and the effect in this area was much better than with mesotherapy (which I really swear by on my face) But now I would definitely have to repeat it and I don't know if one treatment would have the effect of three treatments. Unfortunately, a PRF treatment under the eyes costs 400 euros here in Germany 😬 I do think it has made a difference, but you certainly have to have it refreshed every six months after the first three treatments.
I just started mine and I'm a bit concerned because Dr. Karam (RU-vid) explains that some devices that use heat can actually be detrimental to fat loss. I WANT to keep the fat under my eyes soooo, I'm a bit hesitant. Sorry it didn't work out for you but if it's any consolation, you look lovely and radiant! xo from Toronto
Aww, thank you so much. I'm hearing a lot of about the fat loss concerns. I would strongly recommend using at lower levels and not every day. Start low and slow and see how it goes?
I reckon that Nira might advise you to use the device in conjunction with their products. Companies always want you to buy ‘all’ their stuff, which can get expensive but I doubt it would make any difference. The apparent increase in wrinkles may just be due to the increased dryness though and therefore easily fixable?
OMG, I just bought this device and waiting to arrive 🥵 And I don't like how your results are looking after 3 months ... I hope that I will have a better results
You should expect to see visible wrinkle improvements within 60 days and dramatic results after 90 days of regular use. We recommend applying the Hyaluronic Acid Serum after your NIRA laser treatment as the serum provides quick results while the NIRA lasers provide dramatic, long-lasting results over time. We are so confident that you’ll love your results that we offer a 90-day money-back guarantee.
@@NIRA_skin I started using - at first, my skin was very dry after using it, but now I'm moisturizing it well so I hope for the best. For me it is easy to use, once a day for whole face and doesn't take much time at all... I took pictures so I will compare it after 3, 6 and 12 months... Maybe I will make some video ❤️
@@DemienDemien That sounds great! It's good to hear that you found a way to manage the dryness by moisturizing well. A video sounds like a wonderful idea, too - it could be really helpful for others considering the device. Best of luck, and we'd love to hear about your results as you go along!
Hi regarding your results it may be because your skin grew more taut. I can definitely see that your eyes are more open which most women, as they age, get the squinty eye or the eye just gets smaller. I think overall it was an improvement.
Hi, @katl6320 That’s an interesting point about the skin becoming more taut - it might indeed be why the results look that way. We're glad you noticed the change around her eyes; it’s one of those subtle differences that can make a big impact.
yes i see worse in yourself, sadly, in other youtubers as well, and in myself. For me, I now have deep dark hollows under my eyes, Im not sure if the heat "melts facial fat" or causes inflamation damage, but whatever it is, its not good. Hoping your next product trial works for you! thanks for your honesty.
Thank you for this video!! I am so grateful for honest reviews! Actually The Honest Chanel did a similar review - and also raised the question of IF we should even apply this amount of energy to our skin on a daily basis. I think we have to be very critical of these technologies, and especially the people on RU-vid that promote them. Thank you!! Blessings
I love watching you and am surprised with this review. I’ve seen great results with the NIRA precision. I use a lot of moisturizer after and always hydrate hydrate hydrate ~ 2 liters of water daily. I show honest results too. Not sure why it seems to work for some and not others. Bummer!
I hated the original Nira. I only used it a few times, because I don’t like the sensation of a lighted match stuck on my facial skin! I thought about trying the new one, but not worth the high price and the possibility of results such as yours. Thank you for this video. People need to know what can happen. I hope your other devices and treatments will take your skin back to the starting point, then improve according to your goals.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Our products are designed to hydrate the skin deeply without drying it out. We prioritize maintaining skin moisture for a healthy glow. We appreciate your honesty and hope you find what works best for you!
Thank you for your review. I was on the fence about purchasing this device. I’m sorry about your results, especially because it increased the wrinkles. I bought a topical product years ago, and the same thing happened to me. Very upsetting. Hope the new device you’re trying will give you the results you’re looking for.

So I bought this device years ago based on influencers I follow, showing good results. They are still using this device today. I loved the idea of this and I think it was tightening my skin, however I started to notice melasma forming under my eyes and it seemed to be getting worse. I don’t think this had anything to do with getting older either. Maybe it had something to do with my skin tone, which is fair and prone to freckles. But since I stopped using the NIRA, the melasma is gone. I would use this twice a day and I could get up to a level 5 in some areas, but primarily stayed at a level 4 (wasn’t painful for me). I used it consistently for about 3 months. Once I noticed melasma, I reduced my time to once a day, then to skipping days. Nothing seemed to help, so I eventually stopped using it on my face. I’ve thought about using it on my hands, but it just sits in a drawer for now. 🤷🏼♀️
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We're glad to hear that you initially saw some positive results. It's important to note that everyone's skin can react differently to treatments, and we're sorry to hear about the melasma you experienced. We recommend consulting with a dermatologist to understand what might have caused this reaction. If you decide to give it another try or use it on your hands, starting at a lower setting and gradually increasing may help. We're here to support you and answer any questions you may have.
The after the lighting is darker so it looks worse however even if the lighting was exactly the same as the before picture i would say i see NO difference. The results would look the same. Thanks for the honest review! Much appreciated. Many other reviewers and the nira website pics always show the darker more shadow pics before and lighter and brighter pics for the after results which always makes the skins look better.
I started to use the Nira in August. I tried using it almost every day for about three months. I think skipped a day or two in between however, I noticed after about two months that I felt that I had more wrinkles so I contacted the company and I asked them about it and they said that it would cause increased dryness and that I needed to use a hydraulic serum afterwards, she said to stop for a week and try on the lower setting as i used level 4 I started back again to see, sm using Estee Lauder advance night repair and the advance for eye night repair serum, my skin looks ok but now I am concerned if I should try, I did watch another influencer who also stopped but then started again using a good hydraulic serum, so now I’m concerned reading these reviews
I've been asked to have a conversation with the founder soon but until then, I don't have any more information. This was just far too drying for the eye area (for me). I'm still trying undue the damage. I personally don't like HA because it also dries me out but I have a very robust hydration routine that should be doing the same thing. A few fellow RU-vidrs are about to do a test with the Pro on their neck (which is much thicker) and I'm keen to the results. Maybe it'll work better there and the marionette lines 🤔
Hi, @sensationalat60 It's understandable that you're feeling concerned after experiencing increased dryness and noticing more wrinkles. Given your concerns and experiences, it might be worth starting again cautiously, perhaps on a lower setting and with the additional use of a good hydrating serum. If you're still uncertain, consider seeking advice from a dermatologist or skincare professional to help you make an informed decision about whether to continue with the NIRA device. Your skin's health and comfort should always come first.
Thank you so much for this hugely helpful review! I'm extremely sorry to see that the Nira worsened your skin! That is terrible! Let us know what you do to reverse the damage? All best wishes 💜
We're sorry to hear about your experience. It's important to ensure you're using the product as directed. Sometimes, initial reactions can occur as your skin adjusts. We recommend pausing use and consulting with a dermatologist. Your satisfaction and safety are our top priorities! Please reach out to our support team if you need further assistance.
I am only a few days in and am already notice a worsening on my under eye wrinkles. I have only used a level two. I am stopping it immediately and returning. I too am Irish and it might not agree with our skin type. Thank you for your review
I think it's great that they allow the return. I find it so interesting that it really works for some people and not for others. Wish I'd been one of them!
Thank you so much. I just started using the NIRA pro. Unfortunately I saw a few negative reviews, such as this one, only after I purchased. I will give it a try, but if I don’t see results, I am going to ask for my money back. It might’ve been interesting if you took an after picture after using the original Nira device. Seems more people having results with that device than the Nira pro. I haven’t seen any buddy show positive results with the Nira pro yet.
In my opinion, photos after a day or two never yield results because these type of devices take time to do their job. That's why it's recommended for 30-90 days to see the impact. The Pro is still pretty new so there aren't as many reviews (and they take him to see).
@@SkinObsessedMary yes but I’ve seen a couple reviews that use the product daily for months and did not get any real results. I realize some results will vary but I’m really having a hard time finding any legitimate positive reviews on the pro.
I feel like it’s making my eye area look worse. I could see it in the mirror as well. I’m wondering if I’m doing something wrong or if it’s worse bc my skin is dried out from using it????
Hi, I haven’t used the Nira and I am not going to anyway after your review, and that is because I used Tria Smoothbeauty LASER and sadly it caused some damage even in the underlying layers of skin which looks like an oblique groove on my chin that I never had. It was long time ago and it still makes me regret why I used it :(
Hi, @sarashafiei2561 Thank you for sharing your story - it’s so important for people to hear different experiences, especially when it comes to skincare devices. We hope you’ve been able to find a routine or treatments that work well for your skin now.
Love your content as always. I purchased the Nira a while back based on Angie’s rec but I’ve been putting off using it bc of negative reviews I’ve seen. Now I’m def going to wait and just do laser treatment in a Derms office. Not worth the risk. If any of your viewers want to buy my nira for cheap, I’ll ship it :))
Very interesting. I have been using the original Nira for about 8 months and have not noticed the dryness, and I have not noticed huge results either. I have not been as diligent though as you. I do think I've had a bit of success on the crows feet but didn't take pictures so probably just hope. I was able to get to a 4 under the eyes and I do not go so near the lash line as I wondered if it was safe for my actual eyes.
Mary thank you. You just saved me a lot of money. I did watch another video & she said that when she stopped for 10 days her face went back to the original
I had this same experience. I was just about to buy the Nira Pro because I thought maybe it would work better. I really didn't have many eye wrinkles at all when I started and now I can see them prominently. I'm so sad about this because this is the only device that claims to target this area well.
Hi, @bridony225 We appreciate you sharing your concerns. It's understandable to be cautious, especially when considering a higher-priced item with mixed reviews. @@SkinObsessedMary One thing I found that helped reverse the damage, was to remove the eye protection from my red light mask and let it hit the skin around the eyes. I can see a noticeable difference using it this way. While it's probably best to keep your eyes closed, there is scientific evidence that red light is actually good for your eye health and prevents aging of the eyes as well.
I’ve been trying to decide between asking for this and a red light mask for my birthday. Thanks for sharing this. My hubby will be pleased because he wants to use the red light mask too but the nira scared him 😂
In my humble opinion, LED is always king. It's the one thing I never stop using....even when I'm testing other products. I'm a complete convert to the panel (I ❤️ Maysama) and I use a mask for travel (yes i'm that weirdo who travels with it) 😂
I am wondering if it should not be used daily. It is heating the dermis which triggers the skin to heal by producing collagen, right? Collagen isn't laid down im a day, it takes a bit for that (how long does a wound on skin take to heal?) Perhaps only doing it once a week would be better.
Hi, @KotoriOnWheels We appreciate your feedback. Consistency is key when it comes to stunning results. The NIRA Laser works similarly to exercise and muscle, it takes time for the collagen to rebuild, and the best results are seen with continued routine use.
Hi Mary. I have been using Nira about 5 times a week for around 8 months just around the eyes. I can’t say that I’ve seen any noticeable difference. I only use it on a level 2 or 3 because it is too drying and painful around the eyes at higher levels. What this is good for is zapping zits. I don’t get them very often but my tween daughters do. It works just as well as the blue light wand for acne. Curious how Nira made the new, larger model not hurt like the original? I wouldn’t recommend the Nira either. I keep using it because it’s quick and I haven’t seen my eyes get worse but they aren’t getting better.
I was considering this, also was wondering before your review if this targets water in the skin, will it not dry it out? Isn't that a bad thing? Right before your clip I saw Dr Abs on the BS Nira brings to the table and my money are safe in my pocket now. Thank you for your effort and honesty!
The NIRA Laser is a 'near infrared', non-fractional laser that gently heats up the papillary region of the dermis, right above the point of heat-shock and just below the pain threshold. This provides as much or more heat shock protein (to trigger collagen production as the older fractional approach), while avoiding pain and erythema. Our laser causes no tissue damage or irritated nerves. The NIRA has five levels of comfort, so users can easily adjust based on skin sensitivity. It is safe to use it at home daily!
I'm so glad you did this video! I was afraid I was the only one this was happening too!! I was religious like you, and now I'm having to try and repair my worsening wrinkles!! Do you think the Venus that you use will help to reverse my under eyes?
I'm certainly hope so! That's what I'm using every morning. And I'm applying a LOT of hydrating products - eye serum, eye cream and oil every morning and night and often top up with the oil through the day...
@SkinObsessedMary me too, in addition to my red light therapy mask. I just got a new eye cream from medik8, and am very hopeful this is the one. Lol. I've tried so many! After this one, it will be skin ceuticles.
It may have been due to looking down in the side view. I used the precision and didn’t see an improvement but I don’t think k it was worse. I have been trying to decide if I should get the Pro but now I’m worried again. Everyone says they see an improvement but now I’m thinking they are saying it for the commission. So thank you for being honest. Let us know what microcurrent you will test so I can follow other influencers results
I know it's tricky....so many people loved it and I'm just so sad it didn't work for me. I've been using the Skeen Patch and did a review if you want to see it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1Y8yGQZs28Q.html I will be doing a review of the ZIIP Halo in a bit too..
well...there isn't much of one at the moment (I've stopped the Nira but am testing a new microcurrent that hopefully will help). I've been using Iraye, skincare that focuses on lymphatic draining and I've definitely seen a difference! go.shopmy.us/p-1537274
I am so glad you were completely honest to us about the NIra. I have been using it probably 3 times a week for several months and I really don't think it has done anything for me. I mainly use it around my mouth. I feel I have better results for lip lines using the Venus and Dermelect Smooth Upper Lip. What serum do you use with the Venus around your eyes? I need to include that in my routine. Thanks - love your videos!!!
I'm so glad - thank you for watching! Yes I use the Venus regularly and now I'm dialling it up to 5x a week. Originally I used a serum for a minute and then applied my eye cream for another minute (2 min per eye) but I've been using an oil these days because it packs more of a hydration punch. I apply a serum, then oil for the treatment. When it's all done, I pat my eye cream. It's a lot of eye products but that's what I like to do. This is what they say: The Venus can be used with any oil or water based anti-aging eye cream or serum. Although not required, a serum will definitely help with better conduction and usage of the device. Generally, our broad guidelines suggest using an eye product containing any or most of the following ingredients: vitamin C, vitamin A, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide & peptides.
3 times a week is not enough to see results, u have to commit to at least 5 times per week, I do it daily while watching a RU-vid video, it works for me 🤷♀️
Some one explain to me simply why we would use nira to damage dermis to stimulate collagen twice a day when you're only supposed to do medical microneedling every 4 to 6 weeks to achieve the same thing? Wouldn't nira be the same? Every 4 to 6 weeks? So we have recovery time or we're actually breaking down collagen which would explain these results.
Hi, @MissKrisLoves Great question! Both NIRA and medical microneedling aim for the same results-boosting collagen. But they use different methods. Microneedling pricks the skin, while NIRA uses gentle energy. Since NIRA isn't invasive, you can use it more often without needing recovery time. Still, using both treatments carefully is important to get the best results for your skin.
Do you think doing microneedling with the pen type devices would work better to build collagen? I was thinking those devices might work better because they don't cause the facial fat pads to diminish like the laser/heat type devices can....?? Many thanks for this great advice, I really appreciate the time you spent explaining the process. Looking forward to seeing your next device evaluation. 💕
My pleasure - thanks so much for watching! I am 100% committed to microneedling - it totally works. It's pretty amazing to see what happens to your skin about 3-4 weeks after microneedling. The glow is real.
The NIRA Laser only heats up the papillary region of the skin, and since it is non-fractional, it is not invasive or damaging to the skin. It will not melt or destroy fat cells. It works by heating up the water underneath your skin, and this triggers collagen to start building. When used consistently, skin will smooth out for an overall healthier complexion.
@NIRASkin It would be helpful for you to put out a RU-vid video on how to use the NIRA - like how close together do you put the wand for each beep, how long do you hold the wand in place after the beep, can it go all over the neck including the thyroid area, for people who have had Botox, does it interfere with the treatment, and how to care for your skin after use. Thank you.
But although the pro was a joy to use becuse no pain, but wasn't that one along with original nira why you are saying you weren't happy with results? OR did you get good results from the Pro?
We're glad to hear you enjoyed using the NIRA Pro without any pain. While both the original NIRA and NIRA Pro have delivered great results for many users, individual experiences can vary. Some people might not see the desired outcomes immediately or as significantly as others. If you have any specific concerns or need personalized advice, feel free to reach out to us directly. I am starting to worry about these devices which put heat into our faces. I am using an RF device and it might be a coincidence but my lines appear worse. I won’t give up LED, needling or ZIIP. Am not brave enough to do zero 😂😂😂 crying laughing face
Haha I'm the same! LED and microneedling are non-negotiable! I ❤️ the Halo (just got the Halo but haven't opened it yet) and I'm test-driving a new one (which is pretty exciting). I do love my devices 😊
Hi Mary, I was just watching your video and I immediately noticed that your under eyes area, the skin looks so firm and smooth. 👌🏼 I was about to ask you how you maintain that, and then you mentioned about some device from evenskit called the Venus? Can you please tell me the exact name of it, so I can perhaps purchase it? It was very briefly shown and I couldn’t catch the exact name, and I didn’t see it on your shop link either. That’s why the spelling I wrote may be wrong. Can you please tell me the exact name and from where you bought it? Please. Thank you.
Yes of course! It's the Venus by Evenskyn go.shopmy.us/p-1543047 You can also use MARY10 to get $10 off I did a video about it too if you want to watch: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lnK6DDqHPzo.html
Oh my! This is scaring me! I just bought the pro last month and I had such high hopes for my skin. Should I return mine and get my money back? I have not been using mine long enough to know whether it is helping or harming my skin. This is upsetting.
I'd do some more research first. I've seen incredible results in other people. I do think every day is too much and I think lower levels is probably best.
I don’t get why you do level 3 if it hurts so much. You can get results with level 1. I think what happened was nira did what it is supposed to do which is generate collagen. Your crow feet wrinkles are worse because the skin is drier ( skincare is weak- i recommend fermented toner like missha and amore pacific vintage essence. Also there is one skin )and your muscles are more tense. One of the reasons your muscles are more tense is because you’re using nira on a setting that’s painful. There’s other reasons your muscles are tense . I only have issues with pain if I use red light before nira or rinse my face with warm water. As long as I rinse my face with cold water nira doesn’t hurt. Rinsing the face with cold water is a basic skincare tenet
Level 3 was what I could tolerate without pain. I did take it down to 2 and even 1 under the eye when needed. I varied it based on how my skin was feeling. Good suggestions for toners. In fact I used Amore Pacific long before I moved to Ireland (18 years ago) and loved it. I should check it out again 👍
@@SkinObsessedMary 😞I've been really hesitant to try anything laser-based on the face for fear of any fat loss. I follow you and The Honest Channel for info like this which helps all of us decide if we want to try something. Thanks for sharing with us!
