If you focus on black women.. you would grow so much faster on here. But its almost as if you're afraid of saying black. I get it you want all clientele but lets be honest, white women dont invest in black women businesses like that. Lean into the people who are actually supporting you. Just my 2 cents.
Hey Terry, thanks for watching my video. Representation is so empowering. As a black woman, witnessing others wins is definitely uplifting and shows what’s possible. Whether they stated they only help black women or they didn’t (but heart to heart it’s implied). I love the diversity in my programs over the years. I’m grateful that as women we ALL have a message within us that many times in our families, cultures, and relationships has been shut down or we are made to feel less than because of it. So I’m clearly that the work I do is for women owning their voice and the value that comes with it. Now, let me be very clear the experience of a Black Woman is one no one will ever know unless you ARE her. So yes, there are additional layers to this lived experience. For example, on my mindset coach yesterday (in a program that has women from Egypt, the UK, US, the Caribbean, and South America), we talked about showing up put together and funny enough, I just took my braids out. So used that as an example of still showing up, even when you hair in this example may not have been the cutest. What a beautiful opportunity other women get to educated on. While those who know what I mean on a cultural level, are also seen. It was a fun part of our call actually. So grateful for the women in my space. ❤❤ So there is no fear of stating anything. With that being said, this IS another GREAT topic for more videos because I certainly am happy to talk about my experience as a black woman in this coaching and consulting industry. It was on the list but we’ll move it up in the que over the next couple videos. Thanks so much again. Can’t wait to speak to this too. Also, you stated ‘you know I want all clientele’ and I just want clear that. I do not and never have desired ALL clientele. I am specific to women who want to tap into their voice and have credibility they aren’t positioning as powerfully as they could be. Many afraid of showing up fully as who they are in alignment with their mission, afraid of how others will perceive it or try to shift it. The mindset of my clients is so focused on the power of their voice that they too love diversity in their circles. We align on that.
