ESTL fan here. Glad I got to see this game in person! Defense super solid. Once our offense get some rhythm and figure who wanna step up at WR, we gone be straight! I see some guys playing both ways, I miss that old school way! We had it! On to play CBC next week and IMG vs DeSmet!

I’ve always been a fan of ESTL football and respected what Coach Shannon built. But after watching them in person last year against Crete - Monee and watching the poor sportsmanship, the ignorance of the coaches and cheap shots by the players I lost total respect for the program. Those kids are to talented to behave and act in the manner they did, it was sad and embarrassing to watch. Then got outclass by Cary Grove and lost the state championship becuz they thought that trash talking was gonna scare those Cary Grove kids

@@teahmoore3601 Hold the Crete kids accountable too because these days the kids and some of the parents talked trash all week before the game on social media. I was at that game and Crete had no chance! What dirty plays? O and Crete had grown men run up on our players before the game and at halftime time threatening them as they walked in from the dome. Also, Crete had us in the locker room etc with dead rats all over the floor. They got beat at state 44-43 because they failed to stop the run. Sound like you just mad lol. Maybe yall will get another chance this year! Our Defense 200% better this year 👀

Y’all didn’t have a locker room at Crete, y’all was in the dome on the gym floor, where y’all left all your dirty cleats becuz y’all was getting new shoes for the state game. I was standing right there and nobody ran up on your players at halftime. #6 made a great play beige halftime and the Crete Coach told him “helluva a play #6” and one of y’all coaches stated and I quote “don’t say shit to our players, if you got something to say speak to us, don’t talk to my players” so that’s a lie. And the drug dealer y’all have wearing the fur coat who’s at all the game, ran over and said “do we have a problem kinfolk” talking to the player. Yeah I remember it very clearly and y’all couldn’t stop Cary Grove triple option and y’all was the superior team and thought that trash talking was gonna scare those white boys and they was wearing that ass out 🤣

I have been waiting all year for some East St Louis Flyer Football and this game definitely did not disappoint me!!! Yeah, I was upset with the loss, but what a great game against another great Team...Next week Christian Brothers College Prep in our Gateway Classic and then to Georgia...P.S.
