I built a similar setup and just be aware, this rig and SxS WILL WAY EXCEED your front axle capacity. I ended up ordering an F550 with the 7500# front end (highest available) and I'm almost at max on that (about 7100 lbs). Old truck was a 2016 F350 DRW with 5450lb front axle. Go find some scales and see where you're front end is loaded up. I had terrifying bouncing over bridges sometimes with the F350

You did an awesome job! It's hard to see how you fastnened the framework to the truck. Are the front supports attached to the frame horns? I have a can am Spyder and have been wanting to do what you have done. I have a 2011 F 450. Any information you have would be helpful. Great to see you enjoying Rv life so young. Thank you.

Yes, you can’t haul the biggest trailer imaginable and throw another 2500 pounds in the bed of the truck. I just need to pull a 9000 pound trailer and get my side-by-side to the camp spot. I’m loading less than 12 five onto my truck. Maybe you can see if you can build a rack to put a third side-by-side on top of the trailer then get ready for the 11 foot bridge. Common sense to prevail.

The clearance is under the 13’6” for both the can am and camper.

Surely this is a HO 6.7L with max tow package, right? We tow a 45ft solitude with our 3500 drw and have no GVWR or payload left. Wish we could have found a HO Cummins setup.

Okay, I've got to know the numbers. I have a 16 F350 DRW & a FUEL 335 41' 17000# GVWR Toy Hauler. My truck has a cargo capacity of about 5400#. My pin weight on my trailer is about 3400#. Leaving me approx #2,000 pounds. That's without people-passengers, tools or anything else I put in the truck. Unless you're trucks cargo capacity is higher than mine or the pin weight of that trailer is less... You're overweight.

it helps to just go to a scale when your all loaded and just look compared to gross axle ratings, and gross combined Vehicle weight rating, we are legal for our truck. but thanks for the comment and concern.

@@FindingLifesAdventure also have to watch your cargo capacity. If your over cargo capacity (which is possible or darn close) your not legal and your insurance won't cover you when something happens

So I'm confused. On tiktok it was stated the rack was built by a company and here it shows you built it. It was also said there that your over ratings but here you say your not. ??

@@FindingLifesAdventure so what are the actual weights then. The long bed conversion alone will eat up a good chunk of cargo capacity. Then the rack and sxs another good chunk of it. With just those two and gear and people, dog and personal items you are probably at cargo capacity. And that's before you ad the ~2500lb pin weight. I'm going through exactly same thing right now and can't get any 3500 under cargo capacity limit so really interested in your weights and how you keep it under.

A RAM 4500/5500 might be better for this setup.

Yes no doubt, but I’m under all my axle weight limits and gross combined weight rating. With the aisin trans and airbags on all 4 corners it handles it quite well actually.

No real numbers difference if this truck has the HO package setup. The wider front axle would be nice though.

@@kevanray actually quite a bit of difference from 3500 to 4500 especially when the 3500 is mega cab. And this one is converted to LB which will eat up good chunk of ratings
