why,on earth,, we all live on, world wide,, can you only convert a new vehicle.. tell me what metamorphosis, it goes thru after reg.???.. its a bs law, as all in aus.. fkt up country..40 yrs behind rest of world.. to me, what your doing is a fkn waste of time, money..& 110100100111001,s. we fk around like this in aus,, cos were restricted by jap sht.. '' here,, this is what you will drive..''..
TYRES, yes there only 33,s. but,, what rating are they,??.. are they 10 ply.. ect..plus, the fatter tyres gona suck more juice as well.. just leave out the details,, its o.k.. susp lift, still only 6'' travel.. ooohhh,, that poor v6.. i pity it.. did you change the diff ratios, so the 8,2t, doesnt wear the motor out.. kill it up hill.. suck sht loads juice.. but,,it looks pretty..
Why? That DMAX is a weapon and it’s proven for him. He looks like a bloke that likes to keep things simple and even though he’s good all the toys the DMAX is a reliable Ute that’s proven for him season after season…if it ain’t broke don’t fix it
I like it, But every build you guys do is "The ultimate tourer". 79 series, F250, Chevy truck, unimog. Pretty much out of reach for the average Joe bloe. So which one is the actual best?
how about buy a real truck you dont have to fk with..we only have jap 4x4rs, cars, cos the gov did a deal with them.. all u.s. 4x4rs have single cab, extra cab, king cab, twin cab, 6 ft tray, or 8 ft tray,&, different length chassis to accomodate the extra length. i have a single cab 4.2tdi s/duty, 2.9m, tray, canopy. turns better than a t/cab 79 series, more economical & more powerfull.. 14 lt 100, 700nm.. 240 hp..no computer, no glow plugs, .260,000 ks, replaced alt, belt, tensioner. cost 25k..7 yrs ago.. if you compare a toyota, nissan, suspension, with a 79 f100 4x4. you might learn how it should be done.. nissan titan, had a 5 lt tdi v8. discontinued, by cummins. they also have a 2.8 tdi, fitted to jeeps, foton tunland. brillient engine. reliable. cos its cummins.. toyota lost the plot with the 80 series, at least nissan kept the solid front diff till early 2000,s. nissan is a better choice, better wheel base, & transmission brake. on some..
170kw and 511nm for a tuned 300 series, where the old 200 series were tuned to roughly the same power but easily had well north of 620Nm of torque. You can't beat cubes.
The Toyota badge on the grill, the latches on the canopy LOL, don’t forget the raw steel on the tray and ladder…not as much effort for detail went into this one. Also didn’t line how the head board flows into the canopy
I love this content. Would or could you create a few videos that talk about very budget upgrades to your truck I appreciate that you have the means to buy new cars and upgrade them with massive specs I know there are many people like me who are on a budget and just get by with simple upgrades but the rest is spent on day-to-day travelling expenses and maintenance to keep our trucks on the road. I love your content and I watch your content however for those of us who can't build $200,000 cars what can you suggest that we can do just as Overlanders on a budget?
Could have got a 79 and saved a whole heap of money and work. The stock exhaust would have been fine, it’s also stainless steel and will take any knocks and bumps.
I watched Roddo and Jase in the beginning. Thought, ‘ yeah I could do that’. Lost the plot now. Start featuring Simon in a ‘back to basics’ touring rig doing regular stuff. This is the second series I won’t be watching. Pare it back and include your original followers.
Love the build but I'll never understand with the amount of effort that goes into removing chrome etc that you don't spray the Norweld canopy raw steel. Thought the Same on the DMAX also. It needs to be black or white. The raw at least to me just doesn't sit right.
ZR2 and 300 full butchered, I love the old school stuff you guys used to do, now its all about the money. Don't even research products you but on. Same old builds on new vehicles. Wait for my ZR2 build!
The welds, and lack of welds on the rear diffs truss work is a laughable joke at best.. those welds are horrible, and not fully welded, are undercut, underfilled, and welded too cold... Facts.. 😮
Why the 300 LandCruiser Jase? Your new Ford f truck specs make this look weak for the $ spent and massive mods just to get less than half the power and torque.
Oi,let's take a 100k$ vehicle down under, cut the rear third off of it,convert it to a 4 door truck,(which was never offered in Aus,or the US) ,so over equipped as to make serious off readers barf, and upchuck while perveying this vididideo.. js.
A 79 series goes for around $120,000 c'mon now. They never made tray back landcruisers in those modles I think it was only the 40s and 70s here in Australia. And why not 😂😂 I may be biased but a tray back any wagon is sick.. YT the msa LC200 6x6 that thing is a beast.. happy days. 😊😊
Well it came from Japan, should maybe check into somthing first before assuming. It's not hard to ship a vehicle. So they may not offer one but nobody said they did or that he bought it there. Have a wonderful day.
dyno tuning.. my sht ford s/duty, 4.2tdi, no computer, no glow plugs, std, has 510nm, 149kw.. with a little bit bigger turbo, nothing else,, it now has 700nm, 180 kw..14 lt 100,, vehicle cost 25k, winner..
Why would you cut one of these shit box 300's in half? The F Truck you guys built was 100% a better truck than this thing could ever be. Guess the sponsors need new rigs to show off all their shiny shit.
sht,, i tow 8.5t all up.. again,, winner.. & carry 8 mtr lengths of anything.. havnt been that impressed yet, to sell my house or s/duty,,yet,, keep trying..
