🔥 WEEKS IN: 8
⏳ WEEKS REMAINING: VARIABLE
🔥 WEIGHT: I woke up this morning at 193.9
⚖️ MACROS: Will be consuming between 3,000-4,000 calories this week. I may allow myself a higher day as a refeed based upon hunger levels.
💪 BODYFAT PERCENTAGE: My personal InBody is showing 19%. This varies quite a bit based on hydration. I will be getting a DEXA scan at the end of the month.
🏋️♂️ STRENGTH MARKERS: Last week’s DELOAD went well and I feel like my strength has improved this week as a result. I’m hitting more reps at 225 on Bench and progressively increasing overall volume across the board.
💦 CARDIO: I am staying at level 15 on the stairmaster for 25 minutes once a week. I will start incorporating more walking here soon in preparation for the 50 mile march I do each year for veterans at the end of August.
🚽 GI IMPLICATIONS: No issues. However, I do think my daily dose of Ag1 is likely not improving my digestion so I may remove that.
🧂SODIUM: Around 8,000 mg/day. Potassium has been around half that intake.
🍽️ THIS WEEK’S STAPLE FOODS: I’m trying to empty the freezer of all the primal cuts that are a bit harder to accurately track. Thus, I’ve been eating a lot of lamb chops and pork chops. I’m also eating quite a bit of whole eggs and a whole Keto Brick each day.
🧠 MINDSET TOWARDS IT ALL: I’m on the higher end of the bodyfat I feel comfortable with. I don’t think I’m in the “sloppy” status yet but definitely pushing the envelope. However, as my activity increases in preparation for hunting season and the 50 mile march, I imagine my bodyfat will start to drop by default.
📖 OTHER THOUGHTS: I think the thing I need to prioritize more than anything is simply increasing my sleep quantity. I feel like I’ve been going a million miles an hour now forever and my recovery is starting to suffer just from that. I’m excited to get into a routine that is a bit more supportive of ample sleep quality and quantity.
