Thanks for the question! Mailchimp is decent, and you're 100% right on the templates, they are easier to create and are much better on Mailchimp. But... 1. I use and recommend text only emails (or just one image) because they are more likely to be seen in email clients (i.e. not in the spam folder), and are also how people send emails to friends - not fancy, but rather about the content. 2. ConvertKit gives you the ability to tag and segment your audience SO much easier. 3. Visual automations to create amazingly useful pathways your audience can go through. This is something tools like Infusionsoft offer, but without the $1500 setup fee and hundreds of dollars a month just to use it, and on ConvertKit, it's even easier. 4. The fact that on Mailchimp and many other ESPs, unless this has changed recently, you're potentially paying multiple times per subscriber. If a subscriber is on TWO lists, you're paying for them twice. Meaning, that counts as 2 people in your subscription payment plan. On ConvertKit, a person can be on as many segments, lists and tags, and you're only paying for them once. 5. The design and UX (user experience) is super clean and so much easier than any other platform. 6. The rules that you can create: i.e. if a person clicks on "this link in an email", tag them with "this tag" and then start them into "this automation". If a person subscribes to "this sequence" unsubscribe them from "that sequence". Those kinds of automations and rules are KEY, especially when you begin selling product and want to know who is a customer and who is not, so you don't send customers emails they shouldn't get. 7. Their team and customer support is AMAZING. 8. They are a bootstrapped company, meaning there are no angel investors that are pushing them to do things that don't align with their mission just for the money. 9. It's personally the best ESP i've used, and easy for me AND my team to get involved with. 10. They make an effort to educate their users for success. Their training and their support team make you feel like they actually care, and they do. 11. All other ESPs seem to be reactive. They aren't innovating. ConvertKit is. Slick looking is one thing, but I'm in this for results. Also, please know that I'm an affiliate for the product, and love the product so much, I'm actually an official advisor for the company. So yes, I'm going to say these things because of that, but even if I wasn't an advisor, I'd still feel the same way. Thanks for asking the question!

..So I'm referring to in the video, you talk about the $300k you've made specifically with this product. I wasn't sure whether you were trying to get people to promote this product and earn affiliate commissions from promoting it, OR whether you meant using it specifically as a tool to promote other products and earn commissions?? i.e. did you earn the $300k from promoting 'this product' or by using it as a tool? I hope that makes sense, sorry I'm confusing myself a little lol! Thanks for the reply :)
