John of Legend Motorsports did a baseline dyno on his FB RX7 with his carburated full bridgeported 13B. Amazing example of NA analog tuning by one of the greats in the rotary community. Also hangs with other great peeps and Caryl of Nicehunters (and Legacy Ohana) FC, which unfortunatly had a issue with the TPS and was unable to do any tuning that day. :(

Rx7 looking great. Why did he switch from the Weber set up to 4 Barrel ? I’m running a 4 Barrel too but People keep telling me Weber better for high RPMs.

Ceramic is not for weight , it's actually heavier, it's for heat dissipation . ...but at high RPM it can and will! Disintegrate with heat, due to rapid expansion of the material.

I've had a few Ceramic/ cermet coated and they still destroyed themselves at 10k rpms. I know I'm late but, hey had to comment that is beautiful brap goin on .

4 barrels can be better for low end if primaries and secondaries are seperated.

The gen 1s come with rack n pinion and a heavy one at that only way to describe it is racecar rack

Groovy Panda The SA22 / FB series 1, 2 and 3 did not come with a rack and pinion. They all came with Recirculating-ball steering, like what you'd see on a truck for example. I just wanna know how this gentleman achieved the rack setup, since it is quite difficult to do.

Good old mechanical fuel delivery I miss it my next vehicle will have a n/a setup with mechanical fuel it will be an old car so I’m sure I’ll have to rebuild or restore even still once done right you got some shit that will last can’t say that about today’s direct injection sludge machines

Yes, my bad on that. The truth is that it we weren't able to get a decent run in due to dyno calibration and vehicle issues. The numbers were very low, like under 200hp.
