If you see a recurring 'Oops Something has gone wrong' message on the ViewPro, the solution is to press the 'OK' button on the device for 10 seconds. I spent hours trying to fix this, but the above works.

Does this sit between what you're capturing and a PC or does it have built in storage?

It is a stand-a-lone unit but it can also provide a pass-through... the video screen makes it so that is unnecessary. It does not have built in storage but you can capture on SD card, flash drive or a PC via USB.

It should work perfectly with that. I have the Roku sound bars and initial recordings looked great but were missing the sound due to the soundbar stripping off the audio and not passing it forward. I will have to check the setting but no problems with the Ultra.

Thanks for your video. I'm in the process of eliminating cable with DVR service. The thing is, every now and then there's something that I like to archive to DVD for my own personal use and enjoyment such as a local news story or even a favorite tv show. Is there any way to transfer content saved to these devices onto DVD? Not sure I'm good with USB sticks or SD card storage just yet. Thank you for your time and presentation.

This is a program that may interest you. It is DVR software and it runs on a PC. You can capture anything that hits your screen in resolutions up to 1080P and when they are made digital, click on the 3-dots next to the file and choose burn to a DVD. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--VRH2TILqbA.html this is a cool program for sure. So I have a question. My sons favorite movies are the indiana Jones movies and they aren't always open to watch on streaming but when they are allowed could I buy the device and record all the indiana Jones movies and then give the whole device to him for Xmas. Also how many movies would the device hold or is the memory part a seperate item like a memory stick or what would you recommend to save those movies on or a series so that he could use them when he stays at his cabin he doesn't have any way to watch movies would this work for that. I know big run on sentence just want to know what to get for a kid that's got everything.

Yes it can record things but just like a camera, it is not the best platform for viewing things. I put these programs that I have recorded on a NAS drive ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-atgntoWU3XA.html and then can watch them in any room of the house. It is connected over WiFi but WiFi does not mean Internet, WiFi can just be a wireless network (WiFi without Internet is called, AirGapped) and there are a ton of things you can do without Internet including watching videos in every room of your house. Perhaps a better way to gather content for off-line viewing is this ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--VRH2TILqbA.html hope that helps

Hi, I bought one a week ago and 2 rechargeable batteries for it ,and I'm about to return it the 2032 coin battery keeps popping out it won't stay in place, and the 7inch picture when i record can't get a full screen I tried everything can't get a full sceen and other thing I recorded several 3 minute video clips and tried to pause and resume record,but there's no pause option if you push stop it will save the file and start a new one, It's a very nice unit but it doesn't do what I want it for.

Weird. I put a coin battery in and have had no problem. Screen is 1080p but goes edge to edge. What are you recording?

That is a good way to think of it. Think of it as enabling you to grow your video library. I record things and put them straight to Plex. Just check with IMDB for the filenames and all the cover art comes down too.

@@PeterC408and with physical media being uncertain as to whether or not certain companies will even put their movies or TV shows on disc these days. This would probably be a good option
