Love how you get down with the locals. These are all people trying to get through a day. We tend to drive past and try not interact because we are subjected to this daily and it wears us down emotionally. In trying to ignore the people around you, you don't get the opportunity to meet some amazing individuals. It's a complex country. Beautiful and brave with a dark side to it too. Very rich in diversity both it's people and its fauna and flora. Thank you for covering it from this perspective.
Love your comment. I find myself not interacting with strangers in my own country as well. I guess it is a human being trait to be so involved in a daily routine and occupied with our errands that we don't even see some interesting individuals around us. You are very right we do miss out on enriching our lives. Travelling has been a wake up call for me many times.
This is a good video. I appreciate your perspective and honesty about my beautiful country. I love how you captured genuine interactions with the locals and gave your own perspective. This is a really unfiltered video.
I really appreciate your comment. It is not easy to capture interactions with the locals because people get shy seeing camera, but South Africans are very outgoing and interactive. I hope to keep this raw and real perspective in the upcoming videos.
There is value in these videos from them not being sugarcoated. That's good. BTW, it would be interesting to hear something about the spiritual life of the people there. Did you happen to ask about that too?
Thank you for your valuable input. I have ended up talking about the spirituality, but in more of a religious context. It will be discussed in the video from Cosmo, in 2 episodes time.
