I feel sorry for those who don't get ASMR or who don't feel the ASMR response. The feeling of ASMR is hard to describe, your head goes all fuzzy and your spine just sort of shivers/buzz/tingles, I reckon if you where stood up you might crumble into a big pile on the floor.

Sadly I don't get it, but I watch (mostly just listen to) the videos all the time because they help me fall asleep easier. I started listening 7 years ago when my dad was dying because I was drowning in anxiety and grief and unable to sleep. Emma and Maria helped my daughter sleep from ages 4-5 as well! I still listen because they are comforting and help me sleep.

Hello my lovely sweet Emma. Just what I needed, to hear your soft soothing voice to help me relax. I haven't been feeling well over the past several days due to a medication I'm on at the moment and it's been so hot here. Luckily it's supposed to start cooling down tomorrow. I've been sleeping so much these past couple weeks due to this medication and now that I'm still drowsy, I hope I can stay awake until the end of this video, lol. Hearing your voice makes me feel so calm and relaxed that it makes me forget about all of my troubles. As I always say, your voice is the most relaxing sound in the world to me. Thank you so much for another very relaxing video. Lots and lots of love from me. 😘💜❤️💜😘

I am suffering from daily migraine attacks since 2 weeks now and this is the only thing that calmes me down. On friday I have an appointment with a specialist to check out if Botox is a Treatment Option for me. I am so desperate that I would try almost anything

That happened to me a while back. I'm so sorry you're going through it! Mine ended up being caused by allergies. My doctor put me on allegra D and something called Migrelief, which is a mixture of herbs that are known to prevent migraines. I only get them occasionally now, so if you haven't looked into that yet, it's worth a shot! I really, really hope the specialist can help you!

Hello Emma, last night I ended up in casualty because my pulse went up with no apparent reason. These last couple of months had not been good for me, I had been suffering from some stomach, insomnia and bruxism issues for years, but it seems at least the stomach related ones got worse lately. I was still trying to be positive, because I know there are people having way worse problems, both of my parents are disabled for example. I thought I was getting better by trying not to talk about this much, avoiding people (I don't know have many people whom I trust and they are not always near me) and spending my time on social networks trying to watch funny things or things that I like. Unfortunately, the "job" that I have now it just for some days a month and seeing that I have free time, but for some reason it seems that I don't use it well makes me frustrated. Anyway, I was feeling a little bit better for just some moments watching this video, so I'd really like ot thank you for your work and the rest of ASMR artist who make videos too. I'm so sorry for posting this here, some tears are coming down in this moment, but I needed to get this off my chest, I hope you don't mind.

8 days from Hurricane Maria in my country Puerto Rico, today is my first day with reception or signal on my phone and the first thing i wanted to do was search for ASMR. Why?... why?? This one is for me, a shout out to the whole ASMR community. I write it here cause i love you a lot Emma... but i love the whole community, and what it has given me. I live with anxiety, stress, depression and apparently neurasthenia... (i have actually been given that definition by doctors and psychiatrists..). And when i discovered ASMR i discovered a place where i felt at ease and at home. Without you i believe my every day life would have been a lot harder. I really love what you do, it means a whole lot to me

This is one of my top favorite ASMR videos ever. You read aloud so wonderfully: your cadence feels organic (as opposed to the kind of “classroom recitation” intonation I sometimes hear in other reading videos), and I love that you include paper sounds, like smoothing your hands over the pages. Plus your voice is sort of like the auditory equivalent of drinking a hot cup of tea: it’s just warm and calming and makes me ready to rest. The whole video is so relaxing and comforting to me. I would love to see you do another reading video like this one - maybe a little tour of whatever’s on your shelf these days? Love your videos, Emma! Thanks for all you do.
