I don't care about sportsball. I spent Sunday afternoon changing the starter on a retired lady's vehicle. She was going to get it towed to a garage to have it done. She was able to keep the $450 repair bill for food, because I didn't charge her a dime. We have to look out for each other, especially in these times.

My son and I just moved to the local shelter. My landlord raised the rent from $850 to $1150 per month when our lease ended on January 31. I was already struggling to come up with the $850, plus ALL utilities. I work 55 hours per week between two jobs. I can't even explain how hopeless I'm feeling. Please pray for us, and every other family who are finding themselves in our situation. I don't do drugs, don't even drink alcohol, never been arrested. I've worked hard my whole life, paid my taxes, volunteered, donated when I was able. Being in this situation has taught me to look for God in the little things: my car starting right up even tho it needs some work, my son telling me he's proud of me, a beautiful sunrise. I've been singing "this is my temporary home, it's not where I belong. Windows and rooms, that I'm passing through. This is just a stop on the way to where I'm going. I'm not afraid because I know, this is my temporary home". ❤

My husband and I invested 20 years ago in a long term care insurance policy after watching my mother in law loose everything she had to a nursing home. They raised the premiums every few years but we budgeted and we saved and made the payments. Along the way the insurance company, now called Genworth Life of NY, discovered that they had made some errors in selling that insurance and they were not making money. They let it be known that they wanted everybody to drop their policies. We held on. Every rate increase had to be approved by the state that the policy owner lived in. Recently New York State approved a 149% rate increase for these criminals. Our premium was going to $30,000 per year. It broke our hearts. That was our security to stay in our home with care at home and be together. My husband will be 80 this year, a veteran, and still works a 40 hour work week. We had to give up our plan and along with it the security we had planned and worked for. Our politicians are not looking out for us. We are on our own.

I can't handle you crying! I lost it last week thinking about my small kids and this constant fight to keep them safe physcially, financially and spiritually. It takes such a toll. I have a full time job, run 2 small businesses, several farms and just found out I'm battling lymes disease. I'm 32 and can barely move somedays with the pain but I have so much to do to get ready. I have to pray everyday that I keep moving.

Went out to walk the dog in my neighborhood and when I went to the park, there was a group of adolescent males. Something felt off so the dog and I left. As we were headed back home, the same group sprinted by us like they had just done something stupid. I just had an uneasy feeling. This is why I don't like to leave the house. Kids are crazy, criminals are rampant, and people are acting a fool. Head on a swivel.

Pastors are saying NOTHING about ANY of this. Blind leading the blind and both falling into the pit. "My people perish for lack of knowledge."

My husband is the Pastor of a small church. He has been warning every week for people to ready themselves physically and spiritually for what is coming. Too few are listening. We pray regularly for our church family to be wise and courageous. God is working out his plan and we feel it is an honor to be alive during this time. We are here for such a time as this. Our hearts break everyday but we keep on pushing. Thank you for allowing us to share your life and we are grateful that God has given you to us. I pray for you too!

I was helping with farm chores today. It is very chilly. I am sorry if I already posted this but our son lost his home, tractor and thousands of dollars in tools. He got out with his two dogs and the clothes on his back. I am so proud of him. He has been so resilient thru this. He gets up and does all the work that is needed on the farm. He currently is living in a camper. The first night he refused to leave the farm unattended so he slept in the milk house. We take each day as a gift for the fact that he is here with us. The whole hpuse was gone on 30 minutes. There was no going in to get anything. Praise God for the miracle of him sensing something was wrong and got out. I pray everyone is safe and prepared.

Yes, my 30 year old son lost his job 2 weeks ago, has applied 76 times, decent jobs are few and far between, I told him don't give up son you came from strong stock. It breaks your heart to see your grown children cry from desperation. He says our prayers is the only thing keeping him going.

I love being at home. There's so much comfort at home.

For months, I've been saving vegetables, broth and left over for soup. I woke up this morning and after I thanked the Lord for another day, the next thing that came into my mind, was make soup with all those vegetables. NOW! Its in my huge soup kettle simmering. Its cold here, so I can put it out on the enclosed porch to can tomorrow. A few more meals for us. Patara, thank you for all you do. And, when you cried, I cried too.

I’m bawling now because you were crying and the pain in your voice breaks my heart 💔 You and this community are the best part of my night. The love and support I received a couple weeks ago when I shared that my husband wants a divorce because he thinks I’m crazy about the world events, has literally given me the strength to push through every day. If I let myself think about the future even a few months from now, I start to freak out. But every single day I tell God, I’m leaning on you to get me through what’s to come. And so far every single day God has shown me that He’s right beside me leading me what I need to do next. My wildest imagination can’t fathom going through life without God by my side. We are going to get through whatever is to come because we know we are going to be beside God, here on earth, but more importantly in heaven for eternity. What a glorious day that will be when we all get to wrap our arms around Jesus and drop to our knees in front of our Heavenly Father. Pastors aren’t saying anything. I am a grandma who has adopted two grandchildren, living on social security. My children don’t help us with anything. I have one granddaughter who helps. She is 16 years old. God never leaves us nor forsakes us. He is our help in times of trouble. Thank you Patara for all you do. God bless you.

Left the grocery yesterday with 5 bags for $220. Nothing extravagant. I wanted to throw up and cry at the same time.

I am a Latter-Day Saint, who has been practicing preparedness for 30+ years. The leadership of our church has been telling us to be prepared since the 50's or 60's. Last year I received the calling (position) in the church as Emergency Preparedness specialist. My counselor and I have been teaching food storage, cooking, baking, canning, first aid and basic skills for years to the members of the church. Unfortunately, we have had very few people attend the classes, until this month. Two weeks ago at a basic food storage class we had a whopping 11 people attend our class. In my opinion, people still have their heads stuck in the sand. We keep trying, hoping to reach "the one", but it is so frustrating! We keep hoping and praying more people wake up sooner rather than later.

It’s so unfair for any elderly having to struggle in their golden years and watch their country fall apart.

I am so glad you did this video. People around me are planning trips, having parties, living their lives as if nothing is happening, and worrying about trivial things like getting their hands on designer clothes and shoes. Meanwhile, I feel like I am in the middle of a room surrounded by all these people, and I am screaming at the top of my lungs for them to wake up and listen, but they won't. I have this conversation daily and nightly with the Lord that it's getting so hard to be a stranger in this world. Christians don't belong here, and I am so homesick for Heaven. I have withdrawn from this world so much that I feel completely detached, and the Lord has to keep telling me to continue the fight. I live in the upstate of South Carolina, and leaving the house and dealing with the massive population boom here is unbearable. My family has been here since the 1600s, and my family has fought for this country through every conflict this country has faced. I am just sick with grief that their sacrifices have been so violated by the ungrateful of this country and the illegals coming in here pissing all over what our wonderful ancestors built in this country. I am like you....I cry tears of anger, frustration, and sadness over all of this. We just have to keep fighting knowing that the Lord Jesus Christ is with us with every step. I have always looked at my grandparents and great-grandparents and felt I could never be as strong as they were, but God put me here for a reason, and He knows what He is doing so I will fight this fight. Our community here will fight together shoulder to shoulder. God be with us all, and I love y'all!

Times will get difficult. They need to. Humanity has been enslaved and we must wake up from this nightmare and take back our power. Patara you are so right on about everything and about the state of where we are. Three years ago my husband told me I was wearing a tin foil hat. Two years ago he told me to be careful about talking in public because there are just a bunch of conspiracy theories floating around. Last year as I upped my canning production and decided to get back into gardening with the help of raised beds my husband said "well if something happens I am sure it won't be for a long period of time". Today he said something has to give soon. He is looking at solar generators, ordered some survival food so we can help the kids and grandkids and we will be visiting our local Police station to inquire about safety courses for the school so our students and graduates know how to protect themselves in any scenario. Your tears are exactly what we all are feeling and now we have to direct our anger at those who are causing it and ask God to help us win this battle over evil. God bless you and your family.

I've cried often during my morning devotionals, coffee with God is what I call it. It's the only time I can open that box (which is fuller than it's ever been). I love your heart and your spirit and I'm honored that you share your life and tears with us. I heard your voice break and the lid popped on my little box as I cried with you. These times are hard and getting harder. The lies, deceit, fraud, true blasphemy are hard to stomach. But I cheered when you got your Irish up. I'm in complete agreement with you Patara. I have been a truck driver for 31 years and the intelligence of the motoring public has tanked in the last 10 years. And people LOSE it if they don't get EVERYTHING their way!

Dollar Tree has its seeds in 4/$1 get what you can while you can. On Sunday one of the elders in the church made sure the people know we have a food pantry and if anyone is struggling the church has a fund to help with heating bills. I am thankful our church is focused on helping.

My pastor has been speaking about the great need locally and in our country, about the misery and desperation on people's faces and in their hearts. There is a poverty of spirit and body in our country. I looked at the local food pantry's sites, and they are ALL posting that they are very low and need donations. People are hurting and miserable. I'm encouraging everyone I know to, at a bare minimum, do the 5-Cans Challenge and to diligently prepare their homes.

The animals are the most heartbreaking part. They didn't ask for any of this. I, too, have to keep myself from adopting them all to bring happiness back to their sad eyes. God bless us all.

My father in law passed away unexpectedly on Thanksgiving day. My 87 year old mother in law talk about killing herself and her 60 y/o severely handicapped daughter because she could afford to live. She never talked my her son or me. We helped her get her daughter in a nursing home since she was total care and then the daughter passed away 3 weeks after her dad. My husband and I have moved in with her. I pay her utilities and she pays the other few bills she has. My son and 2 grandchildren have moved into my paid for house just for us all to survive. I split my pantry stores between 2 houses and now I’m having to restock. It’s going to be a hard year

I live in th UK and listening to you connects across the ocean. Like you I rarely go out now. The middle classes are fiddling why Rome burns. The only thing that keeps me going is the knowledge that in the end my faith in God will prevail. The Church leaders here have turned their backs on Christ and our Churches are empty whilst they live in palaces. I am 80 years old but I keep on prepping and everyone thinks I'm mad, but in the end I have to keep doing what it takes to save my family. I’m blessed to have found a wonderful, Bible based church filled with born again Christians a year ago. Every week the pastor talks about scripture, the times we live in and what we need to be doing. - There is much to do. Time is short. May God bless us and guide us.

I can’t stand leaving my house anymore. I dread it. Every.Single.Time. I didn’t used to be like this. But It’s hard to want to go where I know peace doesn’t exist.

My kids always get to choose their bday dinner and my middle one always picks spaghetti! He's 18 in a few weeks but won't be having spaghetti this time around. He doesn't know it, but there's a special prime rib (his fave holiday meal) in the freezer for his special day this year.

I have to tell you this was by far the BEST video I have ever watched. It cut me deep but helps keep me grounded and pushing forward. The suffering has only begun. It makes me irate so I swallow the sadness and turn it into perseverance. God love everyone and may he give us the strength to push forward another day. When you cry, I cry. I'm sobbing because I know your pain. The heart-wrenching pain of seeing the homeless. The gut-wrenching pain of knowing the people you love more than anything are going to be dead or homeless and starving because they won't listen. There is nothing I can do or say anymore to convince them. The horror of the whole situation is endless. But, I know that I am covered with his feathers and I am under his wing.

I lost my job put of work for a year, severe cellulitis, then gut destroyed from intravenous antiobotics for 9 weeks. Just went back to work three weeks ago, then a stray cat that's been hanging here, came up and attacked me from behind this last Friday, and it was bad. Dog pound has him checking for rabies, on three diffrent meds, praying I heal with out having to go into hospital and intravenous antibiotics again. 😢 I was a prepper, and those preps saved me , when I was out of work. Was just trying to restock now this, and can't work. Prayers would be greatly appreciated. 🙏

I used to be pretty independent and shopped with or without friends. No phone, never really afraid. Now, I think I am not safe alone. My girl friend and I wanted to go to an Outlet Mall to find purses. We have "friends" and know how to use but our sweet husbands said they were going too, they wanted to be our personal security. Anyway, there was no problem and we had a wonderful day. But what a shame that Americans are afraid.

Our whole world has been broken spiritually, emotionally and socially. I dont see that getting better for a very long time.

Patara, I am with you, such an internal struggle right now with everything happening. While I try to prepare for what is ahead, and it deeply saddens me, my pastor said that while the world is falling apart right now, Christians need to understand that it's really "falling into place" according to his word and his plan. We need to not sit back but stand up and use these moments to bring more people to God. I ask God everyday, "what will you have me do today, please show me, please use me, please guide me" because things are changing so fast that mentally, I can 't keep up. I'm watching this late. I know how you feel and how much difference the simple selfless act of providing food to the less fortunate. I owned bars and on Sunday and holidays I cooked a big spread for my customers and for anyone who didn't have access to a holiday meal. The gift was to a human being not to a crowd for profit. I didn't charge anything for food. For some it was the only hot meal they had that week. I feel like you Patara and all my people that supported me in helping the folks who needed a little help

Wow. I went to the store and there were chilli beans (name brand) .50/can. Hubby on my left shoulder telling me we don't need it. Patara U R SOOO right! There r STILL IN DENIAL!!😢 I am living with my daughter and son-in-law and my grands age 21 and 23!! When I start to make my bone broth my daughter goes to her pantry and gets a box of broth, gives it to me and says "this is SOOO much easier" then I explain to her why I make my own broth she doesn't understand! When I try to stretch a meal she says "we aren't poor u don't have to do that! When I bring home extra cans or boxes of extra storage food and do a marathon cook of food to freeze or can they tell my I am using up too much space in the freezer. They say "NO MORE BUYING AND COOKING ALL THIS FOOD...U R WASTING YOUR MONEY, TIME, ENERGY ON ALL THIS FOOD!" WHEN I EXPLAIN WHY I AM DOING THESE THINGS they always tell me "you r watching too much news and online stuff...u r getting yourself upset about all the stuff u r hearing and watching..u can't do anything about our crazy government!". They have their heads in the sand!!! I can't wait til I can move into senior housing!! Then I can do what I want and continue to be prepared!🙏 I have STOPPED TRYING TO BRING THEM BACK TO REALITY... I will soon be 75, always thought at this age would be sitting in a rocking chair resting . Instead staying busy with church trying to help people. Also trying to help family members who are hurting. Keep the faith, my husband saw a woman digging through our garbage and taking our expired food. We have a lot of seniors here, so I decided to try a food pantry in our community center. Everyone and everything is disposable now it seems. People, animals, jobs, food. The animals everyday that are abandoned on the streets. The people on the streets that are forgotten. After hearing about the meeting for 33,000 Sheriffs by the F B I I know what you are talking about. It's not if but when. Since making minimum wage I always knew that I was only 3 paychecks away from becoming homeless. And the fastest growing group are the seniors. It could be 1 major illness away when the bill comes due and cannot pay. Sweetie please tell your son happy birthday for me! One more thing.
