Sis was not realistic about the situation. Would not have married that man. And definitely wouldn't have dated him so soon after the death of a wife. Divorce is bad enough but death no you got to let the family heal and sometimes it never works. They got a really love the new mom. For the guy really has got to love you and you cannot build any resentment on your end You've just got to let it flow off your back. I am the stepmom who has completely been denied My husband backs me and I've never done one thing I've always reached out It's been the ex and what she did and my husband has backed me because I've always been the one to bend over backwards and because of that my husband's with me not his kids.
When i was 10 my mom started dating a guy 2yrs after my father passed, I had absolutely ZERO intention of getting to know the man because In my eyes he was taking advantage of her and he was never going to be or replace my father. So I understand how those kids feel, their mothers passing is an open wound that will never heal to 100% that young and shortly after. I don’t see how she thought that it would workout Later that year I lost my mom to a car accident. It was a Saturday and she dropped me off with my Grandparents because she was going to Work for some OT, but before she left I got a gut feeling like I’ve never experienced (even to this day) telling me to not let her go. She insisted on going and let me decide, I gave in so she left. A little while later we were notified by police of her accident where I learned she lied about work and met up with the guy she was dating. He was also killed in the crash. My grandparents (moms side) became my legal guardians and in 2016 when I was 16 I lost my grandma to a brain tumor. My grandpa started talking with a woman a couple years later, which me and my family weren’t ready for so he respected our feelings and cut ties. He hasn’t dated until this year, which we’re happy about because he let us heal and deserved it.
