Well you have to remember, in canon, the Dragonborn was created by the will of the gods to kill alduin, meaning they couldn’t do it themselves because then there would be no need for the Dragonborn in the first place, so the Dragonborn is strong enough to do things even the gods can’t do.

​@@Steven-lz1voDang. Never thought of it like that! I thought the dragonborn was just shor or akatosh (same diety pretty mych) reincarnated. The dragonborn being the "will of the gods" sounds wayyy cooler.

@@itsshrimp91 well technically that is a valid interpretation, I just don’t like it because A) being Dragonborn is said to be a blessing of akatosh, so the Dragonborn being akatosh just doesn’t make much sense to me B) there is never recognition of divinity while in sovngarde, implying the Dragonborn is not a god C) there’s nothing contradicting the interpretation I stated earlier, so it works well.

@@itsshrimp91 again, it is technically possible, but that's most likely just bethesda being bethesda. i mean in Fallout New Vegas you can sit in caesar's chair without anyone complaining, and caesar is actually in the game

@@Ulvetann so a long time ago a witch tricked Clavicus Vile into creating a pseudo living sword, aka Umbra, using his own power. She took more than he planned for her to and has been trying to retrieve Umbra for a very long time. If I remember the timeline correctly, shortly after the Oblivion crisis, he finally found Umbra. Little did he know that Umbra let itself be found, and it pretty quickly stole a shit ton more of Clavicus’ power and then basically used that to create it’s own plane of Oblivion by breaking off a huge portion of the Fields of Regret and just kinda leaving with it. Shortly after that is when the stuff with Barbas happened, making Clavicus lose even more power as he has a meaty habit of splitting himself up into other beings because he wants friends basically. He’s literally at the weakest point ever right now, and even with Barbas returned to him is not doing much better

Doesnt matter if akatosh happy the daedra and aedra are siblings the daedra are also more powerful as the gods lost most their power making the world the main diference between daedra and gods is the dae dra noped out when they found out making the world would weaken them but the gods staid becoming too weak

@demonic_myst4503 pretty sure Akatosh is still stronger than Clavicus considering how he's lost so much of his power as well. Plus even after making the world Akatosh still has enough power to make dragons and multiple dragonborn, as well as have a fist fight with Mehrunes Dagon, I think he's in good enough shape to whip Clavicus around the block.

In her defense, NOT being on fire is a very bad thing for her species. She was just trying to help him.

@@cdoze8183 so in other words it's crap in comparison to my sword of madness that creates fire explosions anti undead explosions and reanimates the dead and soul traps as well as throws fire breath on normal swings and creates a fire storm and Cylon and chain lightning on heavy attacks and the mask is probably inferior to my daedric plate armor that poisons enemies to death for just being near my character

I doubt it i expect that ES6 is going to be good since it won't be so empty like star field and they have a better sense of direction unlike their fallout games. Also Elder scrolls online seems to still be going strong

⁠​⁠@@nobody5093 ESO kinda sucks though. Doesn’t really play like an Elder Scrolls (or really any of their storyline) games. It’s not a bad MMORPG, but that genre has always really lacks in the graphics, immersion, and story department. I’d rather play RuneScape or Ragnarok if that’s what I was looking for, it’s just not their target audience. I just hope they don’t flop ES6 like they did Starfield. Feels like every space game they hype up ends up to just be procedurally generated and regurgitated repetition.

@@nobody5093 I hope so, but if it weren’t for Microsoft buying Bethesda, they probably would’ve gone out of business because of how mediocre star field was. Bethesda has only made mediocre or terrible games after Skyrim unfortunately, so if ES6 does terribly who knows what’s gonna happen if the biggest wait for a video game actually fails
