This is the best silk press I’ve seen on 4c hair. The amount of movement and silk you had looked like that of someone who had type 3 hair. Mad mad

I pull my hair as well from the crown and now I'm trying to strengthen it so it can go back to looking full. Hair pulling is actually a disorder. It's called Trichotillomania.

Hey! I would pay just for the wash and massage!!! Lol 😂 Not to mention the products are high quality! Many things can be in play when determining cost…safety, location and have a clean facility being provided. The snacks are not a deal breaker to me! You’re probably not their more than a hour and a half since she obviously doesn’t overbook clients! She did an excellent job!!!

Firstly, the stylist did a great job! Second, I pull my hair too 🥺 I’m American so it’s considered a taboo topic where I’m from, but I love how carefree and open you are about it! I read a lot of comments from others who say they do the same. Idk I feel seen now and I know that was not the purpose of this video lol. It’s such a bad habit I’ve tried to stop for years now 😔 I told my therapist and she literally told me I have too much hair to suffer from TTP and I was like girl no, I have it 😒🙄. I pray we all stop “pulling” 🙏🏾

The longest I went was 6 months( was so proud of myself) but I was wearing wigs which helps because I can’t pull but as soon as I have access to my hair I start back ☹️. Omg I can’t believe I’m talking about this but God wanted me to watch this video. I shouldn’t feel ashamed but I do 😭 my therapist told me to journal how I’m feeling when I get the urge to pull but I haven’t been doing that.

@@jasmyn09 i suffer from it too, and its been since I was a baby 🙃 it comes and goes in waves.. no shade to your therapist but every doctor can't treat everything and neither can every therapist 🤷🏾‍♀️... im trying to get into group for mine because like you, I have a ton of hair so you wouldn't know unless you were constantly in my hair... and that's not a reason to negate something that's troubling someone. This may be surprising, but I've found really great information online too, which hopefully will help me on my path... all the best

I’ve pulled out my lashes as a child. I still do but I’m trying to stop. I have a few lashes rn. What helps is wearing falsies and watch your hands. Since I’ve done it so long sometimes I do it without knowing so watch your hands.

It's really funny with Olaplex. I have naturally straight and fine hair but a butt-load of it (I grew it shoulder length during lockdown) but I use exactly the same products - my normal Lush stuff was stripping the hell out of it and their moisturising stuff was like lard. Love that Olaplex just seems to work for any hair. Also snacks whilst having my hair done!? Yes please.

Wow, she did an amazing job! Your hair looks gorgeous and glorious. I was delighted to see someone else who loves their tiny 4c coils. I LOVE my 4c coils too! I think 4c is so underestimated, but it is the most versatile hair type. Us 4c folk can have it all, from the tiniest of coils to the biggest curls ever, and all the way to bone straight. Nobody else’s hair can do that! Again, gorgeous hair! 😍 Now I really want to try Olaplex. I’ve never used it before, but I’ve heard so many good things about it. You’ve convinced me to try it. 😊👍

Hi dear you should consider seeing a therapist to pinpoint where the hair-pulling is coming from. Have you ever heard of trichotillomania? It is a hair-pulling disorder. You should find out if that is what you are suffering from.

I think it came on great, I just didn't like when she didn't take the flat iron to the base of your head on the higher portion of the bang and it left a line of demarcation there. Nevertheless looks good.

Where are you located? I am in Ottawa, l moved to Ottawa twelve years ago from Manitoba. l became very ill lost all my hair. Next thing l know l was diagnosed with alopecia, thyroid, and pineal gland issues. Therefore, no matter what l tried l never get a resulf. My hair is a total mess, I am sick and tired of wearing a wig. How much do you charge for a hair transformation?

Pulling the hair is called Trichotillomania my 10 year old used to do it, she had no hair line and a bald patch on the side of her head for a few years, she stopped when she was 8, now she has hair down to her back as we have quite curly type 3c/4a hair. You may just stop one day or maybe see a therapist. ❤️

@@shiellaneeza If the stylist knows what they're doing then you won't have burned hair smell. I straighten at home and my biggest tips for avoiding burned hair is making sure the hair is CLEANSED well and don't put the heat too high for your strands. I can't go over 380 without getting that smell. Which means anything higher is burning my hair. Oh and hair tools MUST be clean.

Your hair looks amazing. Whether it be an Afro or straightened. It is called Trichotillomania, when you pull your hair out. My friends does that same thing when she is stressed or has anxiety. But you have a good head of hair lady. So make sure you give your mane tlc 😊😊💇🏿‍♀️💇🏿‍♀️♥️♥️

Thank you so much for sharing!!! The stylist did an immaculate job and I can see from the results that she truly cares for every strand of her client's hair. So sad that I'm all the way in the USA 🇺🇸😢 but I'm definitely inspired to get the products used on your hair so I can at least achieve that fabulous healthy look 😊.
