Yes love my ragdoll Lisa. Had a colour point persian before, he was beautiful, but not as friendly. Before thar a cymiric? Manx. Lots of work to look after his coat. They run like a rabbit.

One of the first things I noticed about my Ragdoll is how quiet she is. She's about 13 now. She's gained weight over the years and is now 15 lb.. absolutely gorgeous. Sweetest cat.

My Ragdoll is almost 13. He’s vocal when people come to visit. One friend gives him snacks. He meows until she feeds him. He meows at my daughter to take him outside. She sometimes picks him up and takes him out. Once back in he goes to sleep. He just needed to feel and smell the air. If I don’t give him water from the refrigerator. He will literally stand up to try to open the door. I recommend this breed to anyone who wants a social cat. He greets EVERYONE that comes inside my home. Foxxy Bleu I love you❤

My Rqgdoll bros are moving in on 16 years, and though they are starting to have some kidney issues, otherwise are quite healthy. Definitely the best cats we've ever had, though when they're noisy (morning for one, evening for the other,) they can be relentless.

I agree my ragdoll kitten she is very vocal. She meows when she is hungry, wants her litter box changed, wants to play, is happy, wants attention I could go on and on. I am more concerned when she is too quiet for long because then I know something is up.

yay, I’m the only one who has a Ragdoll who meows quietly lol. She does these little silent meows or squeaks when she meows (at people). But you go to the bathroom and close the door or give her a bath and she shows you her voice lol. I guess I’m lucky she only gets loud when she’s uncomfortable. Otherwise it’s her cute squeaks that make your heart melt. She’s a seal bi color Lynx.. Most adorable kitty ever! She loves my other cats too. To a fault. So much cuddling and wanting to play they get mad at her sometimes lol.

Our two Raggy's Sophie and Tucker lived till 14yrs and 20yrs respectively. They Were out of this world, adorable . When I was seriously ill they both senescent this, As you mentioned they stuck to me like glue at the time. I was so so so very grateful ,they helped in my recovery. I miss them so much.🐈🐱🐈🐱 I've not the heart to have another two.

I’m getting mines next month 🎉❤ I’m so excited 😆 we bought two and I was worried because we live in an apartment, although we make it safe for them, but I see now that it really fits with their personalities. I think he means that cats are generally more independent than dogs in their personalities. Cats have a mind of their own but he was distinguishing between rag dolls and other breeds in that rag dolls are more dependent on their owners and want to be with their human all the time.

My 18 month old red (ginger and white) ragdoll leo has almond eyes. He doesn’t flop in my arms only on the floor. He’s not gentle and quiet, he’s absolutely crazy, jumps up the walls, play attacks me like I’m his toy, launches himself up and off my legs, bites my feet and jumps on my face in bed. He’s also completely spoilt rotten. He doesn’t listen to me, is independent and does whatever he wants. But when he’s sleeping he’s so sweet butter wouldn’t melt in his mouth

Yeah but that's mostly a sign of a frustrated cat which could be due to loneliness or boredom. You should probably engage with your cat more and/or get another cat.

@FurryFelineFacts Hello, question about Fact #9 (Ragdolls are quiet breeds) - All other Ragdoll fact videos I've seen on RU-vid have said that Ragdolls are very vocal and like to talk to their humans on a regular basis. Can you please explain further on this fact as to why they are quiet? The internet seems to be split, some videos say are are very quiet, while others warn they are very vocal. Thanks!
