I was in a couple bands with Ron Rocco who played drums in Black Sheep. Black Sheep was great.

I have been a songwriter for decades. I've had 2 labels offer me horrible terms for contracts, but those terms were normal. I declined. I have had a song shown by my producer, at that time, then stolen by a Nashville producer he had shown my song to. Though I was supposed to have my name put on any songs I had written. This song was influenced, yet he stole my hook. I had an independent hip hop artist record me and steal the basics of a chorus and put it into one of his songs. I have played for little money and love music. I don't like the industry.

Black Sheep was a cool band. A lot of good songwriting going on there. I remember being very disappointed when the disbanded.

I think Lou could have been a successful singing drummer. Take a look at Phil Collins, Don Henley(who I can't stand), Gil Moore(Triumph). They were all successful singing drummers.

Lou was a bit confused. Kiss were never on Capital. At that time they were signed to Casablanca.

Rush was never on Casablanca and they toured heavily with Kiss. I don't the labels are/were a factor in pairing bands up for tours.

@@MotownGuitarJoeTrue band toured with bands on other labels but Lou said KISS were on Capitol and the original poster just pointed out that KISS’s label was in fact Casablanca. Anyway, Lou made an honest mistake..it’s hard to remember all these little details years later.
