@@sharedsalvi9475 to phir class leading brezza kyu missing hai bhai , honda brv kaha hai . ecosport hi kyu . thats because it sets the benchmark of compact suv .ek baar chala ke dekhna difference apne app pata lagega kyu abhi bhi favt hai ecosport . agreed that performance is not as per xuv300 , but it behaves like a proper suv and proper diesel engine characteristics. Your view maybe different on various things .but do check every comparison ecosport will be there .and finally check with ecosport owner about the ownership experience .

Hey Punit Prajapati the engine=transmission feels old and unrefined now man. Also, the stiff ride and handling will only be appreciated by an enthusiast, not someone looking for a comfortable city car. Especially in a tier 2 city. I love the handling, but can't ignore the rest.

Best engine is XUV300 diesel version. XUV300 will feel punchier even after using for 5-6 years. And the reason is extra power benefit in xuv300. My favourite is XUV300. Just fit the bumper add on kits on XUV and it will look little bit more longer. Mahindra should have given a back mounted stepny in XUV300 like ford Ecosport

They discontinued Back mounted Stepny due to Rattling noise complains by customers. Earlier Xuv5OO use to come with that but later discontinued for above mentioned reason. But yes even i double back your idea, I would love that touch.

+Rajeev K Balakrishnan XUV300 is smooth and refined. You might feel some vibrations above 8000 rpm and in sudden accelerations. if we talk about its cabin, it is well insulated and you will hardly able to observe any annoying noise in it. Do take a test drive in order to clear your all doubts.

Sir my Venue SX petrol is showing an average mileage of 18 km/l with AC on and 20-23 km/l without AC. Is this possible since the mileage is above the mileage of ARAI. Total KM run is 1200 apappro. My everyday drive is 20 KM inter-town and 8 KM city and i never get the right speed to put on 6th gear.

I had watched almost all the automobile geeks comparision and all the time ecosport feels good buy.....sir also try to compare cars by their variants becz usually 90% people dont buy top models and if you compare variants ecosport 1.5 d titanium is best value for money and at otherside same specs in xuv 300 we have to pay almost 1.5 lac more than ecosport 😊

I'm a proud owner of EcoSport Titanium Diesel with very less mentainance cost & I'm still not bored with that car because it's performance , ride & handling quality & it's many features. It’s got the looks, feels like a pucca mini-SUV and is quite a hoot to drive enthusiastically. If that’s what you want from your next car, the EcoSport is a proven choice. But, it’s also showing its age; especially in the drivetrain department. The noisy engine, the heavy clutch, the notchy gear shifts and the stiff ride are all things you can live without. A slightly wider cabin would’ve made its case stronger as a family car too. Then there’s Mahindra’s XUV300 that gets some serious performance, likeable comfort and a bagful of features in a neat package. Had it not been for the poor rear seat experience and the abysmal boot, the baby Mahindra might’ve possibly won this test. The bigger stumbling block, however, is its asking price. The top-spec dual-tone variant will cost you Rs 1.15 lakh over the Venue SX (O), and Rs 80,000 over the EcoSport S - which isn’t a small sum by any measure. By virtue of striking a balance, then, it’s the Hyundai that wins this comparison test. If we had to recommend one out of three without caveats, it’d be the Venue. It’s got the right blend of features, quality, everyday usability and highway performance. Sure, some of you might want some more room in the rear seat, and some might want an extra helping of smaller (but significant) features. But, other than those minor oversights, the Venue is a compact SUV that we’d recommend with our eyes closed. Ultimately, it boils down to your needs and wants. So, we would suggest you to take a test drive before the final call.

I m venue owner, i m not getting more 10 kmpl in diesel,why and the suspension is very very stif its get jerg in cabin i m not not impressed by it. And rear is also got loose and which i took another car that also same issue

I have venue 1.0 petrol and i am getting 15km/l and also suspension has its own positives and negatives it may be jittery at low speeds but high speed stability is fantastic

+vasim managuli Bot the cars are good to go for Highways. If we talk about Venue, with the 1.0-litre Turbo variant, you can cruise at triple-digit speeds all day long without a hiccup. Here too, overtakes will require very little planning. There’s enough torque at your disposal to let you pull ahead in the same gear. If we talk about 1.4 Diesel, the motor feels at ease chugging miles at triple-digit speeds. On a related note, we’d recommend opting for the diesel if you’re looking at extensive highway usage. It has proven itself to be dependable and efficient over the years. If we talk about XUV300, The ride is flat for the most part. Hit an undulation at high speed and the cabin settles back almost instantly. Even at the rear, there’s nothing that’d cause discomfort over longer journeys. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive in order to judge your driving comfort.

Hyundai Venue is a winner,though it may be small by a few mm and may lack in high performance engine power, ultimately what one needs is peace of mind and after sales service where other players are not upto the mark.Even when you consider selling of your car after 5-6 years Hyundai Venue will definitely fetch you more money.

@@muk684 I have ecosport and from last 3-4 years ford service costs is far less costs me 4-6k for every service of diesel car and my friend has petrol brezza and his service costs more per same service interval and his car has done only 20k in 3 years and mine has done 45k in 2yrs still his cars have develop cabin rattle noise
