Is it possible that Staley is insurance if Sorenson sucks? Stanley would have had a year to get a grip on the defense. Sorensen's presser just instilled no confidence whatsoever; and especially from a leadership perspective. He might know football but might not know how to lead an entire defense. This plus the fact that everyone is being mum about his role tells me this will be fluid all season
