BRO! You've literally taken me, a brand NEW MPC Key 37 user, no, in fact, a very first time MPC owner from A-Z (of the necessary basics), on how to arrange and create song, and then being able to export it as an MP3! I had no idea (again, I'm absolutely new the MPC world), that I'd even have to put a song in Song Mode, in order to arrange and then export!!! PLEASE! PLEASE! Come out with more Akai MPC Key 37 For Dummies tutorials! In fact, feel absolutely and whole-heartedly free to make a playlist/ series of tutorials dedicated to the Akai MPC Key 37. Thank you for this video Brother Nate!! New Subscriber! I've even created a playlist just for you!!
Absolutely brilliant video, so straight forward. No fluff or BS and the narrator showing off. Just the facts and the instructions of what the user needs to know. Perfection.
This is a brilliant overview. I very much hope Akaipro see this, and gift you hardware to do tutorials for...and I hope other manufacturers do the same. Keep up the good work. Short, concise and digestible. Excellent stuff.
hey man, i just got this, coming from machine... they've just changed it to mpc3 and now I'm lost again.. ha Can you please make a mpc3 one of these? You are the very best at it, teaching, on RU-vid.
Whennatecreate I have to commend for videos like this. We really need someone to put together step by step videos for this equipment. I must say that Akai have released this unit without putting out full intuitive videos to support how to use it and to get the most out of it. That’s wrong. They should have had video tutorials ready upon its release. I think you have chance to steal a march on them. Also, no disrespect to other content creators but some of them get carried away and go too fast. You are unlikely to stick with it if that happens. Please keep the Video coming. This is a great beginning. Do you have any information on how to make quick start templates to assist with song writing so you don’t have to always start from the very beginning. Also as a side line would you be able to explain basic drum sound placement on the pads? Some teachers just seem to know exactly where the sounds are placed and are able to go straight to them which speeds up the beat creation. I really want to find a way to put together song ideas that I have in my head quickly, so I for one will be looking out for more content from you. Keep up the good work.
I’m glad the videos are helping💯 I use templates all the time. If you haven’t check my page there’s a template video and I might get around to making one for the KEY 37🎯 Thanks for watching ‼️
You have a new sub. Wish me luck. My 37 is on its way. Anyone have and ideas on what should be the first down load from akai should be? Yeah i know we have one free one when registering but a purchase suggestion ?
I cant remember if they let you demo the plugins before you buy, but that would be my suggestion 🎯 Enjoy the KEY 37 when you get it, and let me know what you think! Super Thanks for Watching‼️
I used my Mac to name the SD card. And I believe you could format from the MPC and rename the card from your computer after🎯 Super Thanks for Watching‼
@@whennatecreate Thank you. Yes I'll just keep naming it from my computer.. My hooes we're so high. But now I have formatted everything in my MPC's. Thanks for the tip 🙏👍🎶
Subbed! New to the MPC flow. Is there an easy way to load samples only to the pads and use a plugin for all the keys? So you can use both at the same time? THANKS!!
Hello, can you open other plugins in it, can you put your drum one shot sounds in it? I understand maybe some particilar plugins can be opened in it, not all? Thank you
this was helpful. but when I start new project - I hear noise from the plugin but I'm not pressing anything; something is on and I can't figure out what to turn off. any clue? note, I just got my MPC today and updated to the Beta 3.
@whennatecreate I got the key 37 brand new. I did try that and as soon as I add a plugin it makes noise, like a quarter note continuously. Like it's automatically auditioning the plugin, yet it keeps playing. Also, I can play over it simultaneously. 🤦🏾🤷🏾♂️😅 This didn't happen until I updated to beta 3 lol so in my first few hours a lot has changed. Finally, when I tried recording a beat I got no sound when I hit playback. But pads had sound when recording. 🤷🏾♂️
MPC Public Beta 3. Hmmm, I’m not sure how stable that update is on different machines. I’ve been looking at it on my MPC and found some issues but nothing like yours. Maybe you should report your issues, and contact support for more help🎯
@@whennatecreateI’ve used a Roland RD300 keyboard as a controller via MIDI for everything for years. Once I’ve learnt how to use the key37 (I got it just hours ago) I’ll use the fully weighted action 88 key RD300 to play it.
When I press insert sequence on the song page, it only highlights one sequence and I have to duplicate it to get the other ones. do you know how to fix this?
@@whennatecreate yeah he's good at it.. He speaks like Jon Jones when he's locked in and focussed. haha" hey man, we need a MPC3 one of these. I'm totally lost again!
