In this video I demonstrate the Goture collapsible carbon fiber rod. I have this rod for a while and it has exceeded my expectations. Compared to other collapsible rods, this thing is very economical to buy. I would not call cheap, because it certainly not bad quality, but there is not doubt that this rod is extremely affordable. You do not need a large budget to buy this carbon fiber travel rod.
I am excited to announce that the Goture Company is now a sponsor of my channel. When Goture approached me and asked me if I would be willing to make some product reviews for their fishing products, I was happy to accept. I have had great experience with their products in that past that I purchased out of my own pocket. I have already made some reviews about their products just because I liked them some much, and I excited to get to test out their new products.
As with all the products I review, I will put each product through actual hands on testing so you can see how it performs and make your own decision about whether you think you need to own it.
In this video I test out the Goture SWORD 210 Telescopic Carbon Fiber Rod. I do an actual fishing trip with this rod and do live testing on real fish. This video is real life and some unexpected events occur that put this rod and reel under way more stress then I every intended and they both held up nicely to the task.

I've ordered one of these off of Amazon, I'm not the biggest angler in history and I mainly fish some lakes and rivers round my home. Mostly bluegills, catfish, and some bass. But I ended up picking the 7.9 foot rod and wondering if I should cancel my order and go with a 6.9 foot. Oh well it's too late to cancel the order and your video is giving me confidence in my purchase.

I pulled a 15 kg African catfish on it ! Not landed as I did not bring my telescopic net. Drag it to shallow water and I know it's a goner although it's 2' away from me. The line is 12 lbs mono . Hook is #10. I don't expect monster. Only targeting 0.5 - 2 kg cats. only ! Ever grab a 15 kg slippery like eel catfish ???😣😣😣😈

sir what is the difference between spinning rod vs casting rod
@thejungleexplorer
@thejungleexplorer 2 года назад
Hi. A spinning rod is designed to be used with a spinning reel. It will have larger eyelets close to the reel that reduce in size as they go to the tip of the rod. It may also have a longer handle which is straight. A casting rod is designed to be used with a bait-casting reel or a spin cast reel. It will have much smaller eyelets close to the reel than a spinning rod. It may also have a handle that designed to be griped and will have a finger hook protruding off the back side of the handle, opposite of the reel. Today there are many different designs of rods, so it is hard to just classify them in just two categories. The main difference to watch for is the size of the eyelets near the reel.

Yes. I am still using this rod have bought two more larger models. The only issue I have had was one of the eyes came lose due to me slamming it to collapse the rod. But other then that, the rod is a joy to use.

Is this the same rod as the Kastking Black Hawk
@thejungleexplorer

This is the Goture Sword. I have never owned a Kastking rod, so I can't if they are similar.
@fantomphoenix6170

Tylor Swain this one and the black hawk are some of my options for getting a telescopic rod to go shark fishing, I don’t want to get a 11ft rod and it not being able to fit into a truck

@hksjoshua
@hksjoshua 5 лет назад
Jungle Explorer ohh how do you cook your carp? steam, bake, fry?
@thejungleexplorer
@thejungleexplorer 5 лет назад
@@hksjoshua Depends. If it is a small carp say around 10 to 16 inches, I will score the carp crosswise every 1/8th of an inch, which effectively makes the Y-bones disappear, and fry it. For large carp, I pressure cook them for about 20 minutes which dissolves the Y bone and then make fish patties out of them. People that have tasted my carp patties swear they are better than salmon patties. Here is a picture of some of my carp patties. www.dropbox.com/s/nvayrnz07g5hkiq/20120427_185734.jpg?dl=0
