I feel like we all wish you were the mother we had or we hope to grow up to be you. You’re superwoman with all you get done! I’m 34 but hope to be as productive as you one day
Welp. Thanks to you I just found out that my hospital has one of these vending machines. Who knew? I obviously haven’t looked down there recently. But it’s amazing how much you can save by making them yourself. Thanks!
Just wanted to let you know that the round rattan tray that you showed at Aldi but thought was too expensive at $25 was on sale at my Aldi today for $12.50!!! Much better price, hopefully you can get back there and grab one. I picked one up and it is really nice quality 😊
Thanks, Jen! I really loved this video. Everything you created looked healthy and delicious! You kindly complimented the company as a consumer of their products, then gave us the excellent info we needed to make the items conveniently and economically for ourselves! So great! Yay! 😊
These salads made me so hungry. Hey Jen do you remember when McDonald’s had shaker salads? They were in a clear plastic cup with a lid on it and you put the dressing on it and shook it up? This video made me think of those
This was a great video Jen it really shows that if you take the time and buy the ingredients yourself you will save a lot of money. Having these vending machines in hospitals and airports is a fantastic idea for a healthier choice, you do pay for convenience but better than junk food. Thanks for doing this video I really enjoyed it. ❤
Amazing how much can be saved on these salads years making them at home. I've never heard of these, but I've been making and giving salads to family in quart jars this last summer. Just a cute way to share all the summer salads.
Sue here: wow, going to make them all!!! But how do you eat a salad from a jar? I guess you need a stash of paper plates for travel or work, and at home - just a salad bowl or plate. (I like a tad bigger salad or bowl myself lol. )
Really nice video. I’ve heard of the machines in airports, didn’t realize they do home delivery. Very nice dupes especially with the cost of meals out right now! Thanks Jen!
Love these ideas. I make the chicken pecan one quite a bit and this week for my meal prep I am making a harvest salad with sweet potatoes, avocado, pecans quinoa, dried cranberries and blue cheese over arugula. I have really come to crave salads because of these combinations! Great video
Thank you for sharing your own salads & the ones you bought as well, Jen!! Yours look MOUTHWATERING. . I can hardly wait to make them for myself!!! I may also buy some of the Farmer's Fridge Salads & Bowls delivery and use the $10 code so thank you for giving us that promo coupon, girl!!! I really appreciate you always taking the time to cook and show us exactly how & what goes in certain dishes, you're AWESOME!! I also appreciate the fact you recreate salads/dishes to make them more budget-friendly for all of us. . you work full time, you take care of your kids, husband, & Murphy, plus you are always helping ALL OF US on your RU-vid channel. . AND you help your community w/lasagna dinners!! YOU GO, YOU!!! Just want to say, THANK YOU, JEN, for ALL that you do!! 💗😊NURSES ARE AWESOME!!💗 xo
I love a good salad for lunch.. I've been trying to encourage my husband to eat them more often, I think these will help, Thank you for that, they look delicious..
Perfect timing, I've been looking for new salad recipes which is hard to find where you can use spinach and not just lettuce. I suffer from Crohn's and lettuce is a big NO in my diet. All Crohnies are different. I get asked often what is Crohn's disease.
Hi Jen. Great video. Definitely going to make several if not all of these salads. One the salad is made in the jar how long can it stay in fridge before consuming? Thanks so much for very useful content. I just watched your freezer meal video as well. Also terrific. 😊
Jen, thank you for sharing the salads. I would need to deviate a bit as I don’t like quinoa, I would just increase the greens and any other items. I love salads, that aren’t boring and all of extras look really good.
Having just gone though airports in the UK & Poland I'd have been so happy to have been able to buy a fresh salad to eat on the move. The vending machine prices seem reasonable to me when you consider their costs. I hope the company does very well and takes off internationally. Did you see what I did there??
Jen, I live in South Mississippi - and I am aware of how Paula Dean pronounces the word “pecans,” but, it’s not right, IMHO. U have the second syllable right; the first is “puh,” not “pea.” I was taught that truckers use “pea -cans,” and we eat “puh-cahns.” If you look at the word “pecans,” u see it isn’t spelled “peacans,” like “peanuts.” This info was very interesting to me, and I thank u for sharing. I am going to try several of these.
Great video, as always! I was just curious, why do you pack the nuts separately (and in one case the nuts and cranberries)? In the Farmer's Fridge photos, it looks like they're included with the rest of the ingredients.
