man, she had a knife on the counter that whole time and used it once. On a carpet. Also when that demon was outside her door, she literally tried opening it but it was locked. She also stepped near a broken window when that ghost thing was out there We need some better protags...

Once id like a horror game were the creepy doll is actually a goodentity trying to save your life

POV: You try to sleep, but see Manly's new thumbnail.

"Knock knock" Who's there. "Empty." Empty who? "Like manly soul."

Pretty creepy at parts, though I was more freaked out when it was framed as just a home invader or stalker instead of the eventual reveal of something more supernatural. Still, this was interesting. I do wish we got a little more detail, but what's here works.

theory: Praew used to be in a relationship with Jane but something happened on Praew's birthday which ended up in the relationship possibly ending and in Jane dying, and Jane wasn't able to move on without their love and thus they were stuck wandering in the world until they could be with her dear Praew

If you combine all the words and place them in order of XXX, it says like this..: Stay With Me Always, Forever, Praew. God, the love between these two girls is too strong. 😂

Not even 2 minutes in but this reminds me of Hello? Hell...o?

_There is a thing as too much love_ Love which transcends death sounds romantic, wonderful - you want love to be everlasting. But I want to live my life & not die early just to satisfy the love of a ghost. Any game with weird knocking, dolls moving around, & blood in the bathtub is scary - this game did a good job in being creepy as well.

I noticed something... In horror games where you survive and there is secret endings... The secret endings kill you despite requiring you to get the living ending. In that sense the living endings... end just before you die. You literally unlock the ability to see your death. Not that it is bad, just sort of funny.

The scariest parte is that the girls going to get and F on that homework

It's a small detail but I like how there's diagonal sprites

Judging by the MC’s reaction to the name Praew, that must be the MC’s name. Jane is probably either the name of the doll or the name of the ghost girl. My first thought was that the ghost girl is the previous owner of the doll, and wants to kill Praew so that she can get her doll back, but thats inconsistent with the whole wanting to be with Praew forever gimmick. So maybe Jane IS the doll, and it wants to be with the Praew forever, so all the ghosts and monsters asking for Jane are just cooperating with her.

Normal Horror game: "don't go outside stay inside so it's safe" protagonist leave anyway This horror game: yeah we don't do that

If it’s 12:00 AM and I open the door for someone without them even saying anything that should convince me to open the door, I presumably WANT to die. So honestly at that point you’re doing me a favor.

I love how Manly is fixated on the doll as soon as he begins playing the game.

i'm going to bet on our Main Jane probably had a spicy relationship with "praew"...but something happened (found out by parents, friends, other 'important' people that'd induce the "negative peer pressure" effect on Jane to stress the relationship out...in which they get into an argument, Jane accidentally kills Praew and tells no one. Bunch of time later until Praew's birthday...this game happens...Praew's love is warped and twisted by the negative aspects of her death, in which it's something akin to the bog standard Japanese Curse manifests to kill Jane (remember, this is a Thai game as Manly said..so not exactly a JP curse.) That's my deductive logic about the game's plot.

Even if he's reading a game, hearing the words "I love you so much" in his voice relax me

I want to say I'd never answer the door this late, but.. a few months ago there was a knock on my door at 3am. I thought it might be some drunk rando mistaking my apartment for theirs - it's happened before. Turns out it was the police.. they'd received a call about a possible murder at my address. Had to get dressed and go prove I wasn't murdered (and then had a bit of an existential crisis for a few days because what if I'd been murdered and I didn't know it? Was an alternate dimension version of me murdered? Aaahhhh)

Short and sweet, calling back to the experimental phase of rpg maker horror games. I love it.

In all honesty I'm a big fan of the house being realistically claustrophobic, like most of these RPGs make houses look big when living in one feels a bit more like the one in this picture (mansions aside anyway). I like that the game was able to use this small space to its advantage. From Next Door was kind of like this and I'd love to see more like it.
