What’s up, let’s check out how to replace the rear 6x9 speakers of a Honda Civic. I think it's the same for 2001 - 2005 on the Coupes. Questions? Drop them in the comments. Thanks ! sUbScRiBe !!!!
spent all day at LKQ trying to pull some speakers and my phone was dead i found your video after so tomorrow im going back and getting those suckers! thanks man!
😂😂😂 you made it look way easier than it was. As a woman at least, expect to take about an hour just taking off the top panel. Speakers install was easy but then putting everything back 😩😩😩 it’s possible though!! Thank you so much for the help! 🎉
Awesome!! I’m glad to hear that. I like reading comments like this. I just want to help others and I’m glad I was able to help you out. 👍 Thanks for watching and please Subscriiibe for more videos.
@@IvanNava it should be easy, just watch this video to guide you. Be careful with all the clips that hold all the plastic panels. Check out the other videos, I’m always doing stuff to these Civics. I have to change the window regulator next.
Damian, I appreciate the kind words. Thank you for watching I really appreciate that as well. I’m just trying to share what I’m learning and trying to help others at the same time. I’m glad this video was able to help you out. Stay tuned for more videos. Thank you again 👍
I have an 01 EX coupe and you can also lower the back seats by using the ignition key in the lock that is in the middle of the back dash as well from inside the car 🙂
It’s an Infinty Bass Link. It’s a 10 inch sub with a built in amp. They’re discontinued but here’s the link .... www.crutchfield.com/p_108BASSLIN/Infinity-BassLink.html thanks for watching. I appreciate it.
What speakers did you go with? I got some Skar Audio 6x9s but the magnet is too big and they rub against the trunk bars and I can't bolt them down. I heard like 99% of aftermarket speakers don't fit in the rear deck on the coupes because the trunk bar clearance.
The513Warning, thank you for watching. I appreciate it. These are Kenwood Speakers. Model # KFC-G6930. They fit perfect. 👍 I never knew that these Honda Civic‘s had that problem with the rear speakers. I actually took these from another Honda Civic Coupe so I knew they were going to fit. Thanks for sharing that info. Let us know how it turns out for you. 💯
@@JohnnysWhips I appreciate that. Would you recommend them? I listen to mostly boom bap beats and pop, with some old soul thrown in there. I'm not a fan of subwoofers and stuff. I just want something that'll knock and sound good but not obnoxious.
@@The513Warning they sound decent but these here are used and i don’t know how old they are. I got them from a junkyard, removed them from another civic. I think you’ll be fine with some speakers just like these. I saw them on eBay, not too expensive. Let us know how it goes. 👍
I went to the junkyard to get everything I needed. I got lucky and found them in a Civic like mine but you can buy them online. They’re not expensive at all. Try Amazon.👍
Everyone that does these videos assumes i have the factory harness plug when my last owner fucked it up. I'm looking for the wire color so I can strip and twist.
@@JohnnysWhips sound way better then stock I’ll tell you that took the stock bolting out because they weren’t tight enough kept Rattling used bolts and washers Ez tho thx 😎😎
It’s ok, as long as I can help people learn something new. I make these videos to show how I was able to get the job done. I know there may be different ways of doing this, but this is what worked for me. Thanks for watching. I appreciate it. Stay tuned for more videos.
