I've hauled 1 ton of stone before in my 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine Automatic Tacoma, no modifications, with no issues. 3/4 ton won't even faze it one bit. They are beasts!
I have a question nice truck and everything but would you want a tarp or something on the bottom and front to protect the back windows and truck bed a little better
Been driving Toyota's for 41 years, have never needed a U Joint replacement, and all 3 of 4 trucks have done 250,000 miles or more. My current 2000 Tacoma is almost at 248,000 miles.
Never had a problem with everything I've ever carried in any of my 4 Toyota pickups. Still got original leaf springs, rear shocks, and u-joints, on my current 2000 Toyota Tacoma pickup with almost 248,000 miles on it.
It didn't squat that much. I've carried a ton of stone before with no problems in a Toyota Tacoma 6 ft bed, 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine and automatic transmission moved it just fine.
This is why when I had my 04 and the construction company I worked for thought mine was going to be of their actual work trucks. Automatically I hear "we need to you pick up a pallet of pavers and some rebar" Wrong truck for that. Keep using your beat up f150s for that bs lol.
not smart, lol I have an 04 four wheel drive Taco with 300,000 Mi on it and I'm getting ready to do a valve job because it's so badass. If you want a truck that will last forever but it's really got to have five speed and the four 2.7
