Finally decided to record from the outside. Gonna be getting new exhaust piping (2.5" from catback) / adding 2 resonators since the drone is louder than a mfer and i don't wanna hear that shit no more.
Ifw dis I got da 05 I had to swap my tranny at about 150k. I’m shopping for jpipes cuz I gotta hole in mine 😅 bet where’d u get your jpipe and fender splash guards? I was thinkin bout ordering the RV6 off kseriesparts
@@waynewalkdown3360 You can get some splash guards on ebay, i bought the car with them on already (lost 1 on a canyon run). i bought my jpipe from kseries
More info: Nav doesn't work, Transmission is about to explode, "check emission system" light is on all the time, everything else works fine. >>Things that stop working when the "check transmission" warning light turns on ; side mirror down tilt and afs lights.
Got my 08 RL a year ago, did a muffler delete, custom tips, 2 res delete, looking soon to delete last 2 res and adding a RV6 J-pipe and go catless, also what intake do you have?
I have a cosmo racing short ram for easier filter cleaning. If you're getting the jpipe from rv6 themselves pick up some of the m10 studs as a just in case situation ( i bought 2 had to use 1). you're going to have the emission light on all the time if you do install the jpipe
Dont know how much power it added and dont recommend the upgrade for the RL. Car weighs 4k lbs (1814kg) it aint going anywhere. no sound difference with my exhaust setup, only placebo
@@FpsDragoon oh shit just ordered it. I saw the dyno graphs. Big torque gains in lower rpm range and over the graph 10-15hp gain… torgue in lower rpms over 35ft lbs
@@LegendKB1_33 IF you're getting it for an RL too i recommend you buy some extra M10-1.25 X 42mm Studs from rv6 themselves or somewhere just incase(should work for tl too?). They came off rough for me and some nuts were stuck on there
@FpsDragon i have the j pipe installed and learned on now. It feels like a new car. Much more low end torque. Less drone and less rasp. Simply better. 0-100km h nearly 1second less then before!
