IDK what to say about the price, buta good deal it's when both parties are happy. I worked on a 2006 Honda Shadow which had issues with running without choke on. Read up on it on RU-vid, watched videos of carb removal and rebuilding. I removed the air box and fuel was pouring out. Read that 90 percent of the time it was caused by a stuck float. Looked into rebuilding, but it looked like a lot. Then I saw a complete new carb, ready to go, for 60. It now purrs like a cat. Good luck on the Honda
@@loganbodin2675 30k miles. Original owner said it would not run. Come to find out the carburetor was falling off the intake because the hose clamps were loose. Simple Philips head screwdiver and I was on my way. The only thing I have had to change is the auto petcock. I deleted that to a normal shut off valve. I got her at 1600 miles so she has been a joy
Found a 2000 yamaha vstar 650 under a tarp at a job i was doing for a solar company i made a comment and said nice vstar and i said i was in the market for one the gentleman is 80 and said he couldnt ride anymore and its been sitting for about a year with bad gas he said he'd only accept 500 for it he said he needs money in his pocket but he doesnt need the money got a few mods like a intake and pipes has 3000 origional miles and has been serviced up infmtill the past year
With that amount of miles it was probably garage kept under a cover, so she looked absolutely brand new I’m sure….seems a bit high, but hell if ya had it why not🤷♂️
$750.00. It'll take you on average $1500.+ to have it gone through: all fluids changed, complete tuneup, hoses, tires and complete safety inspections, smog if applicable to your state. Vehicles have a way of deteriorating when sitting.
You're tripping. I sold my 1985 Honda Rebel 250 for $1100 ,four years ago. Before car and bike prices went through the roof. It's a freaking Honda (bulletproof). It's worth at least $1500.
Got my 01 last week with 4339miles for 500 bucks aside from cleaning fuel tank from sitting outside fired up took 30 seconds to clean up and idled and rode beautifully.
I just bought a 2000 Shadow Ace 750 w/ only 5600 miles, just broke in for $1000, granite the fellas wife beat the gas tank with a hammer, I’ll change that, but it runs & rides A-1,….lucked out
I don't pay anything over 1000 if its used & already has a bunch of miles on it..if someone is asking 2 to 5 thousand for their used bike..then they would be better off trying to sell it to a dealer
