This song does a scarily good job of painting Ozpin as being just as much of a villain as Salem.

I love the fact that "HAVE YOU NO SHAME" included Ozpin launching the students off the cliff. Great music video you put together here!

The hard cut from Ozpin talking to Pyrrha to Pyrrha's execution was a bit of editing genius. Amazing job!

I believe the meaning of the song is about how Salem's plan has succeeded and she's gloating while rubbing it in Ozpin's face over the fact he's lost and he should give up. Not only that she's also pointing out he screwed up and he's dragging everyone else down.

Ozpin once told Ruby that he's made more mistakes than anyone on Remnant. This song was basically Salem throwing those mistakes back in his face.

This song really foreshadows Ozpin's roll in Volume 6 "Convince them their world could be saved" "Train them to fight what they can't beat" "You'll regret your deeds"

I knew that the end was pointing towards Ozpin, but DAMN it was Hella fixated on him.

Ozpin vs Salem is like God vs the Darkness in Supernatural. Ozpin is trying to save a world that he worked so hard to build, while Salem, believing Ozpin to be in the wrong, is working to destroy all that he's built, and recreate Remnant according to her own vision. She concedes that mankind is a significant threat to her plans... but only if they remain united, if they hold on to their hope. But that is why she sent Cinder, to divide the kingdoms, put enmity between former friends, and break allegiances, shattering any hope for peace. This is best shown in how Yang, who was once one of the strongest, most determined fighters in Beacon, had her spirit broken in the loss of her arm and her friends. This was enough to even sever her bond with Ruby, who she'd been looking after for years. I think that in future volumes, lines between right and wrong are going to be blurred, and in order for mankind to survive, they will have to do things they never would have done before. In the end, it will all come down to Ruby, the Smaller Soul, Ozpin's last line of defense. And I think this is the subject of Red Like Roses Pt. 2; Summer Rose was one of the Silver-Eyed Warriors, and I believe that she was sent to try and defeat Salem before she could put any of her plans into action. I think that Summer failed narrowly, and lost her life while Salem was mortally wounded. I think that the last thing that Summer wanted for Ruby was for her to become the last line of defense, like her mother. She hoped to end the threat before it truly began so that Ruby wouldn't have to ever become a huntress. The world would have finally been safe. But, in the end, she only abandoned Ruby to her fate... Now, the weight of the world will be pressed upon the shoulders of a young girl, and she will be forced to grow up fast, or else Remnant will not survive.

I just picture Salem playing this song for Cinder as a mission briefing.

This is probably one of the best AMVs out there.

I was jogging to this song once, and I felt like running a fuckload of miles listening to this.

I'm not gonna lie: This MV floored my expectations and went above and beyond to hit as many times close to home with FEELS from the first three seasons as possible. All of the synchronizations were spot on and executed spectacularly with expert precision. Once clips of Ozpin were emphasized, you can just TELL it's basically Salem chastising Ozpin, basically spitting on his [unconfirmed] grave over how horribly simple it was to tear down the worlds of Huntsmen so easily. Almost like finally besting a long-standing rival because of such a glaring oversight, but [Salem's] victory lost so much of its luster that it feels like a hollow victory. I. LOVED. IT. It's a freaking shame I can't give more than one thumbs-up, cuz you deserve so much more than that. 100/100. Kudos to you!

I finally realized what it was about Jaune's appearance that bothered me so much through the entire season. The shadow of his jaw is missing! It's been driving me crazy, because I always though he looked chubby or something then entire time when his chin would melt into his neck.

You gotta give it to Ozpin in his last fight, for an elderly gentleman he was able to keep up remarkably well, and without the help of a little blue pill as well, bravo sir.

Interesting behind the scenes note: In the original edit for this video, the Lyrics "It will Strangle Their Heart" 3:07 showed a clip of Pyrrha with an arrow in her chest, however it was cut as I felt the clip of Mercury would have been too short had I cut mid way through a line.

Everyone is doing very good picking up on all the subtle edits I put in this video, still missing a few though. (F.Y.I, I read EVERY comment on this video to see who finds what.)

To be honest, I expected the soundtrack version to be a bit longer than the credits version. Like, around 5 or so minutes. It felt like there was room for an extra verse. But the song's still great.

Oh my gosh, the editing here is absolutely fantastic and well thought out. It matches extremely well with not only the lyrics, but the pacing of the song itself.

You know, I could actually see this song turned around by a heroic character, first addressing the heroes in their failures, then addressing the villians.

I've been wondering, how did Salem get cracks on her face, and we'll, everywhere? Conspiracy theory : since she is mostly Grimm (thanks to her diving into the pool of darkness) summer rose used her silver eyes, and forever wounded her. That's why she kills silver eyed warriors?

I've never felt fear from listening to a song this upbeat or watching an AMV this intense. but i was warm when i started watching this, but now I'm so...cold.

The message of this song and the entirety of volume 3 was already hinted in a part of Time to Say Goodbye but we were too caught up with the volume 2 and Vytal Tournament fun to notice it. "Are we heroes keeping peace? Or are we weapons pointed at the enemy so someone else can claim a victory... Just like how this song says how Ozpin made those poor students fight for his own war and his personal interests
