I've said it before, i'll say it again; "Are any of us only saints and sinners, or is it always red versus blue?" is a brilliant line. I didn't think humanity could be summed up in a single sentence but that about covers it.

The lyrics in this song remind me of something. I've seen a lot of people misinterpret the show. They're like, "oh everyone hates each other and can't stand each other. Caboose is a brain dead idiot, Grif is a lazy fatass that doesn't care about anybody but himself, etc." Now, I won't get into the Caboose or Grif things, because then I'd go on for hours, but let me tell anyone who thinks the Reds and Blues hate each other by this point: If they actually hated each other as much as they say they do, then why do they try *_so hard_* to stick together?

This song shows the serious side of RvB. Once you hear this song, you realize that the show isn't all humor, but instead a dark and war filled world, along with the humor.

This is my favorite RvB song ever... of all time.

When you're favorite comedy show get's surprisingly deep.

This song has so much '80s, from the power chords at the beginning to the machine gun drums at 1:00 and the guitar riff and '80s drums at 2:02 to the synthesizer emulating a guitar solo at 2:17. Every thing I love about '80s rock and metal packed into one song.

I love how the lyrics basically tell the whole theme of the series. it makes me think of how the series grew from the simple concept of two teams fighting each other in a canyon into the whole Freelancer AI thing. The story is one of the best i've ever heard.

That moment where Meta looks down at the hook on his chest, then back up to Sarge, I'd like to think he's thinking "Son of a..." before getting dragged off.

When you really look at it, Tucker is the best fighter out of the Reds and Blues. (This does not include the freelancers). Does anyone else agree.

This song makes me cry whenever I listen to it, not only because of RvB itself, but it's message. It really puts you in an introspective way of thinking, deciding if you take one side or the other, red or blue, or if you're purple. It describes not only the show, but our ever-changing world. People can never seem to agree on anything, and always take sides on something that, behind the curtains, is the same. The show Red vs. Blue perfectly describes modern society. This song just explains it.

I remember listening to this when I was 14 years old in my freshman year of high school. 6 years later and Im still listening to it on my way to work. I miss the good old days.

Its amazing how well this song fits so many other things too.

Church was the Alpha, the reason they’re here. He was arguably the smartest of the Reds and Blues due to being an artificial intelligence based on a brilliant scientist. Not the best fighter, though, and a terrible shot. Sarge was excellent as a leader, managing to form a clever plan to rescue Simmons and rally the Reds and Blues against Washington and the Meta. He also went head-to-head with the Meta in order to hook him up to the Warthog, knowing full well he might die. Caboose had extraordinary physical strength, and was possibly able to face the Meta head-on if he had the chance. He also seems to know his stuff when it comes to electronics and engineering, despite Omega damaging his mind. Grif may be lazy, but he’s one hell of a driver, and he managed to fly a Pelican decently well for the first time. He’s also been seen to have good enough aim and can easily adapt to alien technology, such as the Suppressor. Tucker was easily the most skilled of the Reds and Blues, being able to wield a Sangheili energy sword expertly and having the best aim out of them all. He also has an uncanny ability to act under pressue and is much smarter than he lets on. Simmons is incredibly smart and knows lots about programming and science. He also has decent aim with a firearm, despite not being able to throw a decent punch at all. He’s also held back by his self-doubt, but if he can overcome that, it’s possible that he could become as skilled as Sarge or Tucker. Donut is… he’s Donut. He’s the most lighthearted member of the team, and he has a really good throwing arm. This allows him to be incredibly effective with grenades, particularly plasma grenades. He also supposedly knows how to cook. Doc isn’t the best medic in the galaxy, but he’s all the Reds and Blues have got, and he’s managed to understand them especially well despite not being super close to them. He also knows how to resolve conflict, making him an essential part of the team. Lopez is a mechanical mechanic (heh). He’s the most grounded member of the team and excellent at repairing weapons and vehicles, but cannot be understood by anyone as his voice module is locked to Spanish. Luckily, Donut can translate. Most of the time. These nine soldiers are the Reds and Blues, one of the greatest anomalies in military history. Individually, they aren’t the greatest and probably wouldn’t be able to hold their own on the battlefield, but their bonds and respective skills allow them to defy all odds. However, losing just one of them can make the entire team fall apart. Each of them has an important role to play that can’t be filled by anyone else, and that’s what makes these soldiers so unique. The Reds and Blues may be idiots, but they’re the smartest damned idiots the galaxy has ever seen.

I love the synth and guitar solos! :) Also the part at around 2:58 makes me think of fighting game music like street fighter for some reason, and that made me want to see some sort of RvB fighting game or animation or suchlike.

This is like the ultimate RedvsBlue theme. It defines everyting about it. There is nothing that can replace it...

Sarge owns. He may be ol' fashioned, and he may be OBSESSED with killing blues, but at that very moment when he told his speech in chapter 18, and then fearlessly approached the Meta with his shotgun (and a Warthog Jack) in chapter 20, I knew that he was a great soldier, and that he deserved much more than to be stuck in a canyon with a bunch of army rejects. Church is actually my favorite character, but this season showed me exactly what Sarge is all about: good ol' fashioned ass-kicking.

If you watch the episode it kinda explains how Donut survived, but basically his armour went into lockdown and recovery mode when he was shot (just as shown in episodes 12 and 13 of season 8 in the warehouse with the rest of the reds and blues) and then Doc healed his wounds when Donut came out of lockdown.
