I purchased CC4 and IClone a few months ago, and you filled in alot of blanks on how to merge facial and body mocap together in this video. Keep them coming. The work flow you've created is the best for ease of creation and animation!
Previously, I would just use the CC sliders to get an ok looking character and then would go to zbrush to adjust proportions and push some polys to cleaner topology, but your current series is making it my starting point for ... well, character creation and not just something i played with as an oddity.
Great tutorial, thanks! But I have a question: Your Animation are perfectly from scratch. I have to tune many parameters on AccuFace and iClone to get a medium result, but not so good as Yours. My Cam have a big sensor, that's Not the problem. Do You have some tips for tuning and environment?
If I have a stylized humanoid from Unreal Marketplace, is the facial features compatible with Accuface? Please let me know if I am wrong on the workflow here... Do I need to delete any existing rigs before importing the FBX to AccuRig, then migrate to Actorcore (cc4), and then can work with lip syncing via AccuFace? I'm more interested in the text to speech function with Accuface, but wonder how I can make it work with characters already rigged originating from outside of Reallusion suite. BTW - just discovered your channel. Wow! Amazing content thank you for your help.
All really good questions, and I'm afraid I don't have super answers yet...some of them may be on this page though, I haven't gotten super far into custom and modified rigs yet! courses.reallusion.com/home/character-creator/characterize
14:07 I am facing issue where the character face does not move at all (camera tracking works fine, Motion link connected). Recorded video does not work as well, so currently I cannot use AccuFace at all. Would greatly appreciate if someone could enlighten me please. I use RTX 3080 Laptop.
I like Accuface but it cannot pick up rapid lip movements. I'm currently experimenting with Acculips First, then overlaying with a blend the Accuface Mocap and it seems to do better that way.
