I write from AUSTRALIA. Australia is still stuck in 60s with slow trains and argue over Airport Rail Link. Elon Musk may be doing feasibility study. But China is on implementation stage. Impressive!
Australia is even much better than my country Fiji. In my country, there are no subways, high speed trains or any kind of metro at all. We only have olden types of locomotives for transporting sugarcane from one location to another. The locomotives are driven by steam. When I was a little kid my friends and I used to run after empty locomotives and jump on to the empty carriages for a ride. We could do that because the locomotives were traveling at a speed of less than 20km per hour, and thus we were able to outrun the locomotives and jump in and out of the locomotives at will with ease. So you can imagine the speed at which these locomotives run on. I hope my country will soon have metro trains to ease traffic congestions, especially in the big cities. Maybe Australia or China can setup a metro system in my country.
All Elon Musk did was float the concept, a concept borrowed from vacuum tubes that were used a last century. He had nothing to do with any design, be it in China or anywhere else. To this point, no one has actually had a working Hyperloop that has actually achieved anything like the speeds that have been touted. I'll believe it if and when they do, until then, i'm unconvinced that it will work.
Better that Australians embrace their 'underling' status to the US and of our common UK colonial masters than rise to a true republic. Our independence from colonial masters comes with reestablishing a national People’s Bank and then using it like China does!
Yup, the problem is they are "people". Some of them will do anything for more money, bribing, cut corner, use lower grade material, etc. That is the root of their tofu construction problem.
@davidyeung : The hyperloop concept and idea is already 50 years old, and was literally born in France, under the name of AeroTrain. 50 years ago already the AeroTrain went over 1000 km/h, so nothing new, just trying to rebirth something. China, or any country or person like Elon musk, are only copying the original French genius Jean Bertin, famous for his inventions in the aviation industry, and even more.

@@justthefacts5008 That's why the West hates Napoleon so much now; why prophesied when you could be an Emperor? To make matter worse, the only prophecy he made, came true and the world (which the West refer themselves as) is trembling just like he described. 🥶🥶😂😂😂😂
China's bullet trains are among the fastest if not the fastest actually in the world. The rapid development of the bullet trains is important for China to connect people from north to south and east to west.China has achieved this in only few decades. We are proud of China.
Does that include your pride in a "public security" budget to repress the Chinese people, one that has TRIPLED since Xi came to power? Please, respect yourself!
China has the largest bullet train network in the world with 120000++ kms of high speed lines and 34000+ bullet trains. That's unmatched by even the USA & Europe put together ....
I always think it would be dangerous for anything on the ground to travel that fast. But if they could solve all the safety issues it would be amazing. With these kinds of speed it only take you few minutes to travel. So I think peoples would love it
China has already unveiled the world's fastest train that can travel at a speed of up to 600km/h in October 2022 at a trade fair for the railway industry in Berlin, Germany. In addition to the above, China has completed a superconducting test run for its ultra high-speed train that aims for speeds of up to 1,000km/h (621mph) in a low-vacuum tube. If successful, it will become the fastest means of on-ground transport. So far there has not been any issue of safety regarding the train traveling at a speed of 1000km/h. On a similar note, there was no safety problem with the USA's Concorde which even travelled at a greater speed than that of China's hyperloop train.
Electronic circuits in the trains control the speeds at which the trains should travel at any particular time. These circuits determine the starting speeds when the trains begin to leave the train stations, the speeds when the trains are on their routes to their required destinations, and the speeds as the trains approach their destinations. If these electronic circuits work perfectly and according to the required parameter specifications, then there should not arise any problem with speed safety issues of the trains.

I took the highway train from Shanghai(上海) to Hangchou (杭州) about 10 years ago, the speed was roughly around 150mph to 300mph depending on the routine and weather, it was about 50 minutes. Its was good enough for me at that time. Updated price is NT211.
South China Morning Post 19.01.2023 - China's hyperloop completes first test runs, pushing ahead in race for ultra-fast land transport. Pod travels at 50km/h (31mph)
Chinese are amongst the most engenious communities. Once upon a time in the 60s & early 70s they took cues from Japan, USA and European Union but now others take cues from Chinese Engineering... 🎉🎉👏👏👏👏
What I don't get is why Musk is accredited with the hyper loop? Several concepts for this idea have been around for decades. Even before Musk was born. Science fiction has this idea long before Musk. 2ndly I don't see the difficulty of a hyper loop. More than 40 years ago there was an idea of magnetic plates that could levitate cars to push them forward. And then there is yet another technology which is even older. Ceramic superconductors that can be levitated with an enert gas like nitrogen. Then there is the maglev which has been around for decades. The concept of a vacuum tube is more than a century old. Putting them altogether or in a combination isn't hard to do or imagine. Hell I thought it through in my late teens. Of course I never had connection or money to anything but come up with it in my head. And there is the profit incentive in the US. I usually come up with things, because I view these ideas of my as something to benefit the collective. Which in turn benefits me as well. And I am not taking about monetary return. Never been interested in being wealthy. Or famous. I see a problem or something to benefit us all. I then look to solve it or imagine it.
It was so depressing as a thought what if this happens in term of advancement yes but in term of work it was a just shift of driven thought. Congratulations this worked 🙏Thanks Mom Dad♥️🧠
This would be much more interesting to watch if they took the time to review and eliminate the redundancy in the video. AI is a tool to collect the information but not good enough to complete the analysis and present it in an acceptable manner. The technology to travel that fast is known but the limiting point is as always the economics of the project. How much would it cost to build, how much would it cost to use and how many passengers would make it viable. Those are the information that would be the controlling factors to such a project.
The magnetics is the easy bit. Removing the 'air' from the tube is the challenge. It is the air in the tube that creates the resistance infront of the train/pod and the aerodynamic 'drag' that slows the train/pod down. Furthermore : a livable, sealed atmosphere must be created inside the 'pod'. The Tube/pipe will need to be constantly 'Evacuated' to maintain the low pressure/low air density environment to reduce air friction and drag. 😊
.. it is magical that everything is there around us in Nature! It only needs to be discovered/invented. Who knows whether we would see a 2000km speed train in future!!
Why not continue to develop Maglev technology - which has 600 km/h capabilities? There are still only 6 Maglev lines in the world - the longest being 30 km long. This technology has been around for at least 30 years.
Always on the expense of human lives. We have seen it with cars, trains, planes and ships. This will not be any different. Let's just hope they won't rush it and will actually put some thinking into risks - and there are many
To reach a speed of 1000km/h , in one km of distance (one km to stop), it only has 3.7s to accelerate . To accelerate from 0 to1000 km/h in 3.7s, it will need an acceleration of about 3.9g. The best fighter pilot can only withstand 9g with g-suit. When a fighter jet takes off at a carrier, it usually takes 2 to 3 g.
Elon Musk might have mentioned the name hyperloop in 2014, he is not the originator. The concept hAS BEEN AROUND FOR AGES, and from different people it means different things, only the loop shape is a common feature in all these different methods.
Well 9 minutes doesn't seem like a big improvement compared to the existing 30 minutes travel on a high speed train between shanghai and hangzhou. That said, it is still exciting to see such thing happen. China is not going to call this thing hyperloop, nothing fancy when it actually happens, just something practical, so it doesn't have to be vacuum, it doesn't have to be maglev, and it needs to be able to carry many people, and the building cost has to be reasonably cheap, and there are multiple tech directions for different target speed. Chinese won't do PR stunt like Hyperloop One, instead multiple companies compete in this industry to see who can provide the most promising solutions. It is already started, come back in 20 years to see how much it will be.
Hyperloop One, an American company, has signed an agreement with Dubai. It could see construction completed within five years, but so far the company has only built a 500 metre test track in the US. Shanghai and Hangzhou will be connected via hyperloop by 2035, even though the distance there is only 108 miles. HSR already covers the route in one hour. Seems like the concept is only popular enough to spark these two very short test cases.
Shanghai to Hangzhou High-Speed Trains 156 high-speed trains and bullet trains run from Shanghai to Hangzhou between 01:05AM and 10:25PM every day. The duration is around 1 hour and the ticket prices are USD16 to USD39. The fastest train G4833 with a maximum speed of 300 km/h finishs the journey in 45 minutes.
Certainly, the Air-resistance will be (nearly) all gone. But in such near Vacuum environment. The (electrical) Short-circuit can happen freely (w/o proper insulation.) All Electronics Device also, can behave differently (as in outter Space/satellites technology)
Give China five years, and then welcome everyone to experience it. China's super high-speed rail has already started to build track lines in Shandong, China. The research and development has been completed and is now in the trial stage.
China's economy is collapsing after 10 years of neglect. Prior to that, China imposed an economic opportunity cost on business by giving preferential treatment to passengers over goods through the CCP's vanity-project high-speed passenger rail system, with the results that: 1) the US freight system is far more efficient and helpful to business; and 2) the ROI for China's passenger rail system is only positive for the routes between a) Guangzhou and Beijing, and b) Shanghai and Beijing. In a nutshell, China has screwed the pooch, and cannot recover. So much for Communism!
CIA paid bot spotted 😂😂😂 keep self deluding and lying to yourself with the fake news you make up. Hallucinating in the American homeless tent and smoking weed does have this problem.
The US does not even have high speed train,in the US who cares for the common people the rich dont need trains they have their own aircrafts its time Americans wake up to reality

What am I wondering is ; "How the Pilot of this hyperspeed train can slow down the speed while😮 approching the Station He manages to stop at...? AND what happend ťo this Hyperspeed Train while slowing down its speed - say then from 1000 km/ h to 800 - 500 - 300 - 200 and finally to 00 km and then completely Stop.....WHAT WILL THEN HAPPEN TO THIS TRAIN ...? Will it Fall down or keep it Flotting inside The Tube ... ?
No ,Indian brother ,our India is travelling semi Bullet train now, it's name Vande Bharat , we also developing indigenous Bullet train with speed of 250 kmph, India is building prototype of Hyperloop train, it will take more 5 yrs to come in service, so our country is no far away from china, JaiHind jaiBharat,
Please note that: 1. Hyperloop technology is not yet developed. In fact the technology faces some major challenges, so much so that plenty of scientists doubt its feasibility altogether. Even if is feasible, it's highly doubted if it's a cost-wise efficient solution as its construction is estimated in the tens of billions. 2. Virgin Hyperloop is shutting down as of December 2023 3. The highest reported speed that's been achieved in low vacuum (meaning the Hyperloop project) is 623 km/h. Please notice that it almost half the theoretical speed of 1000 km/h. Not to mention the insane speed of 4000 km/h. This is an overly exaggerated and misleading video. take care
Enquanto a China inaugura o primeiro hyperloop, os americanos estão muito ocupados treinando pilotos ucranianos, este século é sem dúvida o que marca a ascensão dos chineses.
@@adityap1909 Boastful Indian, your Chandrayaan 3 landed 600km from the South Pole of the Moon. Your mars orbiter is still orbiting Mars. Land it then come and boast to me.
I live in European country, we ware building highway in my city, we made 2km of highway in 3 years. On flat ground with only one 10 m long bridge over the creek. And we ware working every day. China is 300 years ahead of us. Our railway don't have electricity, our trains run on oil. Our main railway line, on some parts have maximum speed of only 50km/h.
Why aren’t there any videos of the test? This is the same type of hype of all the failed hyperloop developers in the U.S. and Europe. No hyperloop is under construction in Abu Dhabi, it’s just talk atm.
