Nice one. Traxxas blocked you for asking questions about it? Seems to run fine. Strange. Lots of companies selling repro bodies and decals of Tamiyas’ cars, but Tamiya doesn’t seem to mind. Would love to see anyone doing that with Traxxas and not getting hunted down by their special agents ... :-)
what they don't seem to get, the price of LAWYERS gets reflected in the price of their products same time earning them a BAD reputation with the customer base. Smax is only cosmetically similar looking. I'll laugh if some company comes out with a Bandi+ just to tick them off.
It's the MAX lol I'm going to pick up 2 of these for my grandkids. They are twins and both turning 9 so they can't argue about it. I hope the remote is not too big for them. It is huge.
I just bought one for about 120 I got the brushless version only used it once I just got it yesterday I love the look and decent controller ngl once I figure out how to use it adjust it it'll be much better im assuming

I bought the kit of there stadium truck (same chassis as the s-max and there buggy just different shell, bumpers and wheels) paired it with a groolrc brushless and servo combo, a 2s lipo and some oil filled shocks . I love it. And there is upgrade metal parts available.
Rc is about having fun no matter the price point. It almost seems like certain RC vehicles are priced very high, not because of construction, but because some RC people think its better and will pay it. Not everyone can afford some of the insane prices, nor do I care if I look cool showing up with a Traxxas Xmax. While I have some vehicles worth more than the WPL's I enjoy, I really enjoying tinkering with the WPLs, vehicles like the B16 and modding them.
I recently watched the video from banggood, it submerged to water and it still run. I want to try this Smax! I have HS 18311 rc, really fun for its price and also durable.
If they're not busy bullying RU-vidrs, they are patenting other people's inventions and using the patents to destroy smaller companies. I love my Huanqi 727.
Newbie Question: I just purchased an Smax and it has a slight offset on the right front tire. I already adjusted the trim. Can it be adjusted?. Sorry its just my first time having RC cars..
these cars are quite durable, but I brought mine to the skate park and probably jumped it 10-15 feet in the air. and bam the receiver would not connect to the transmitter anymore. I've tried everything to make it work again, I just can't get I cant get it to work. dues anyone know how to fix it?

back in 1987 I had Traxxas GTP Fiero, kit was 46 bucks and very comparable to Associated RC-12L on road pan car. upgraded it with Associated tires/wheels (taller softer and more grip!), and a 34 degree Dynamite "outlaw stock" 05 motor. Traxxas boats copied Graupner's steerable stern drive unit about shamelessly. today, they have turdpump lawyers who don't know jack about hobby products bashing people in the US because they can't touch the companies producing in China? claiming they invented the triangle (Aarma suspension cantilever anyone?). hurting American companies too "acting like Microsoft".
@@modelnutty6503 the patent trolling is the worst thing. There are things out there that other companies came up with and were decent enough to not patent and then Traxxas not only have the nerve to get the patent but then use it to shut down competitors.
It’s funny I was just typing u about the rc saylors getting a strike n then u say it in the video. Why did traxxas block u? They have liked pics on my Instagram but I rarely use Instagram anyways. It seems like a cool lil truck, I did buy my niece the 9130 n was gonna get her this one but it was $20 more n didn’t have the funds at the time. But maybe I’ll get this one for her sister my other niece. Great review brotha, it’s definitely better then other reviews I’ve seen on it 👍😎
I may stick my Gyro on to try and keep it straight. They Blocked me as I was giving them some grief over the RC Saylors lol. Really annoyed me that they went straight in for the kill! The Saylors are really cool, and I'm sure and email to them direct from Traxxas would have been enough! Anyway...thats all sorted now. Cheers for watching as alway Stevo :)
Traxxassss is petty as fuck im surprised they didn't try to sue you or the company that made this truck 😂🤣 just cause they can't make an rc worth a shit.
At the price of some of the Traxxas rigs...they should be strong out the box! Even the ultimate basher...the XMAXX needs upgrades to make it durable. Not a fan, I'll stick with Arrma 👌
Even with rpm parts and mip shafts they break within 5 minutes of run time i used to be die hard traxxas everything i owned was traxxas i bought one arrma and i can guarantee i'l never buy another traxxas lipo after lipo and no breakages 20 foot jumps over and over give one a try and give your opinion. This is my opinion so no offense.
