The iconic Defender by Land Rover remained in production in various stages from 1948 till 2016. Then, after a gap of 3 years, an all-new Defender was unveiled in 2019. The vehicle is being offered across various markets starting from 2020.
We can imagine what challenges Land Rover team had faced in developing this car from scratch, trying to ensure a new generation car packed with the latest in technologies and engineering can still echo the same DNA of the models that it replaced. So far the media reception for the new Defender has been generously warm. Now time will tell if these will live up to the expectations of the enthusiasts on road and off-road. For now, we try to enjoy the form and shape of one of the most iconic vehicle in its new age look and feel.
