Today my brother and I cut, split and stack a 1/3 of a cord of walnut firewood. We use the bobcat e20 excavator, stihl ms462c chainsaw, and eastonmade ultra log splitter.

Yup, no doubt about it, the mini -ex and the Ultra make for some fast-processing times! I may just get an "in-between" splitter, like the Super Split kinetic splitter to get me by until I sell enough firewood to pay for the Eastonmade. I can get the Super Split for about 4K, and then when I'm ready, get most of that 4K back when I sell it and am ready to buy the Eastonmade. Good video Genin. I think two people is key for making good time when doing this.
An extra set of hands makes all the difference! You’ve got a good idea on the super split, @twincityfirewood has one and it looks like can pump some wood out!
If you had a third person bucking the rounds to length while being held up with the excavator, then production would really fly. Even with 2 people, a 1/3 of a full cord cut, split and stacked is quite respectable. The mini excavator holding the logs up sure makes all the difference in how long one can comfortably buck rounds.
