Hello again Anthony! I haven't ever used slighter lines, but those markers would be super simple to use in line! Thanks for the tip!

Many thanks for sharing, Anthony. High-vis LL or sighters: I found that I was focusing too much on the line, rather than taking in the stream to see fish and take in the natural surrounding. May not make sense, but I couldn’t see the trout as easy, due to my eyes going back to the bright line. I’m easily distracted…

Anthony, from your experience how, light of a nymph can you cast with the the .008 inch line. I'm guessing that a 2mm bead may be the smallest you can move around with such a light line.

I can't say for sure , but I think I've probably fished down to 2mm (but honestly more commonly 2.4mm). The 2.4mm are no problem at all. I'll have to take note of how 2mm beads feel on the line next time out.

Yesterday, in the yard, I tried a .18 mm(.007 in ) Pezon Michel line with a Type I Oni rod. A 2.7 mm bead was easy to cast, a 2mm bead not so much, especially in a breeze.

@@rodthompson7692 is the Pezon Michel line a fluorocarbon or nylon line? If it was nylon then a fluorocarbon line of the same/similar diameter will be easier to cast be cause of the higher density of the fluorocarbon
