@rcWizzard - well can't wait to see the finished product! I've been following the Digger build for about 8 months now and can't wait to see it finished either haha
Your doing great car and have nice idea you could praticly start a rc compani!!! Because most of rc car are always broken spending cash in thing that will broken again is stupid but theire's only this type of car on the market ! Like your monster truck is pretty cool and if i would see i'm in a store i will buy it immidiatly!!! Continue your job it's ammazing!!! ;)
chassis is looking good so far. I'd still suggest though going with a hilborn style injection on that engine. But dang it's really looking good. can't wait to see it done.
96% tin - 4% silver from Radio Shack. Cutting - check out Sprint Car part 1 - skip to 1:10. I use a vise and a hacksaw, sometimes a jewelers saw. From - McMaster, com
When I solder stuff like that I use a small propane burner. I found it gives a more even temprature and it's faster than a soldering iron. Anyways looking forward to even more of your videos.
Man I can't believe all the Grave Digger questions on this video!... Anyway, your craftsmanship is very impressive. And I'm looking forward to your future vids... of whatever project!
To - @teddykiller178 Just spoke to my Engine builder Gary, next is to fit the steel flywheel on and test run. So hopefully by end of next week he can ship back.
To - @loolooblah Trouble??? Lets say challenge. I'd say holding the chassis half's together for soldering, that's shown in part 3. What will cause the must trouble, that's the fun part of scratch built, you don't know until you run into it.
Love it man. My dad raced sprint cars and helped found the Cajun Sprinter Association before he passed away in '01. Like how your using a J&J style chassis. If you wanted it to look more realistic you shouldn't put the "blower" on it
@rcwizzard - Sick can't wait to see the finished product along with a sneak peak at king sling let alone to get to see Grave Digger run independently would be a sight to see. Also what kind of controller are you gonna use for Grave Digger ?
Would have better if the chassis was more current, but hey, still pretty neat. What are your plans for suspension? Coilover/torsion? Real miniature quick change rear axle would be awesome!
I have been folowing your videos for long time and found them very inspiring (hence the username). I was wanting to ask if you have any projects that you have completed or have nearly completed? More specifically a project within the budget of a senior in high school. I love your videos and can't wait for your next Grave Digger video. Keep it up and thanks a million.
Rcwizzard I am wondering what type of solder you use? how you cut the brass tubes? and also where do you buy your brass tubing from? i am looking to build a nitro powered tracked vehicle with a tube frame
