Same here, however a lot of surron ytbers started throwing away their KO and buying BACs. I was about to rush and buy a KO RUSH and boy thank god i learned about GLE. KO MOTO just looks good, don't believe the hype.
I will bench test it first on a motor so I can record the whole process. The amount of content around this controller is far from done! It will see at least 3 more videos.
KO controllers are absolute dogshit. I just traded my F-Spec for a BAC 4k with a domino throttle. The power delivery is garbage on KO, 1.5 second delay on the throttle no matter how you mess with the settings. The owner himself tried remote tuning it himself which helped nothing. They released an update for the 72v software to solve the twitchy feeling but did not release one for the 60v... Instead of working on it he decided to go on a 3 week vacation which really shows where his priorities lie. He would rather go on vacation than hear complaints about his products or develop any of it. Bad products, bad business practices, and horribly unprofessional. Theres a reason that no high-profile riders run KO products, and its simply because they underperform against every competitor.
I've run across this complaint before. This is how KO delineates one steaming turd from another! They just hobble their shitty hardware in different ways with firmware settings! The Pro and FSPEC are identical in every way that matters and yet they still insist the FSPEC is a "more powerful" controller! IF firmware limits make something "more powerful" then the cost of one controller vs another should also be zero! EBMX has an international race team. KO does not since it's all about pride and ego and not actually bullet proof products!
You know what the sad part is? They will be good at some point because like any ch!nk, they will copy something that works and people are gonna forget they ever underperformed. That's when everyone will be on they A-game. Mark my words that's what will happen but till' then, let us all enjoy riding with BACs.

@@ChrisxStyleZ Best bet is to buy something VESC. It's all current and modern motor control technology and widely used all over the world. There are dozens of companies making VESC based controllers. IMHO, it's the only platform to use!

I'd like to see a Fardriver board and see how the KO Pro and a Fardriver work side by side. I've heard this claim several times now, but not seen any proof of it. I have no idea where this bit of rumor even started or if it's just another spurious and false claim like KO makes about EBMX being a ZSX clone. I guess if you spout the same nonsense over and over again people start believing its fact?
@@surronzak8154 I have a brand new BAC8000 that I have yet to power up. I've been so busy with tear downs, actually running stuff has been pushed back. How about you PM me on FB and we see about negotiating for that 72530 some other way! I can't let you have the BAC8000 until I get to use it myself first.
Really looking forward to an unbiased opinion on this controller. Personally I use it and love it but that doesn't mean it's perfect or the best either.
Keep watching! I'll be doing at least 3 more vids on it. I already found more flaws to expose that I'll make into a video. I haven't even powered it yet!
