10/24/2005 Footage of Hurricane Wilma hitting downtown Naples Florida. 

Lived there from '88 to '92. Moved out two months before hurricane Andrew hit South Florida. I was in Jacksonville when this storm had, and it tore up north Florida pretty well also, with localized flooding near the river, and trees, branches and fences down.

This wind looks like cat 1 to me. Of course it was worse in other spots but from what I know the cat 3 wind occurred south of Everglades City.

Wilma and Katrina must be family, DAMN!!!

the entire state of Florida felt Wilma. 20 million people!!! i was in Miami west kendall it was way worse than this there! western miami dade broward palm beach and st lucie counties got hit hardest. the very worst was west kendall, the hammocks, ft lauderdale, coral springs, aventura, downtown miami, downtown ft lauderdale, weston, pembroke pines, palm beach, to name a few.
