I love how the scariest thing to some of these kids isn't murder or gore, it's getting their account hacked and having their items stolen. It's... really sweet, actually.

A small portion of the lore: There were once two guardian spirits. Mira the Sky Mother and Zios the Sky Father, those two loved each other with all of their hearts and Mira would often complement Zios on how talented he was, encouraging him to keep creating. In the Beta Testing version of the story, Mira was created by the Sky Father, or Zios, because of his loneliness. Mira soon fell in love with her creator and so did he. Together they created Jamaa and everything in it. However, when Zios left her for an unknown reason, she became angry and upset, causing her tears to turn into the infamous Phantoms. It is not known what happened to Mira after the incident; however, in the Jamaalidays of 2010, it was said that she spends her time creating the items of Jamaa. However, over time the story has changed and can be read on the Daily Explorer and the Animal Jam Official Insider's Guide. It is now said that Zios and Mira were the guardian spirits of Jamaa, which meant they had the control over the spirits over the animals. Zios and Mira gave the Heartstones which was the talisman for each and every animal, a gift of freedom. However the gift of the animal's freedom soon came to bite the two guardians on the back, the animals began to mistrust each other and fight amongst each other. In this time between the wars between species, the Phantoms came from their dark portals. They stole the Heartstones from the animals, which then trapped all the specific animal's spirits inside. When seeing this, Mira and Zios firstly decided to get leaders for the six remaining animals (Panda, Koala, Monkey, Tiger, Bunny, and Wolf). When gathering these leaders who became the Alphas, Mira and Zios lead them into war with the dark forces. Zios was overpowered by the darkness of the Phantoms and they took him away through their dark portals, which Mira flew in after them. It is unknown what happened next, but it assumes the story will go on throughout the Adventures. This is only a tiny portion there are way more things that you can read in the Animal Jam Wiki. There are also Animal Jam books as well.

Oh man- I remember this game so well. I spent hours and hours in this game, but I definitely remember reading some terrible creepy pastas that, at the time, terrified me. Pretty hard to look back on this game and it's following so many years later, haha. Aw, I'll always love this game tho.
Same! I went back on it today for the first time in about 3 years and a lot has changed. I once stayed up all night playing Animal Jam. And my parents weren't happy.

Ok I played animaljam when I was younger lmao. Now time for a bad aj creepy pasta (Includes animaljam youtubers) Dear diary, Today I found a new video game, its called animal jam! Its super duper fun! Although, something... well... strange happened... I was playing animal jam, and I met someone. Its was a famous person, called Aparri! But everyone was screaming "HACKER!'. I was curious on what they meant, so I asked someone called Abracadabraalacazam. They said that he was famous for hacking. I was, felling like I wanted to impress him. So I did. 3 weeks later Dear diary, I've been playing animaljam for a few weeks now. I love to hack and scam! I decided to hack my friend, Abracadabraalacazam. I waited until he came on. And then he did. I asked him if he wanted my wrist, he said no, you keep it. I said no, you take it! 'Ok, fine I will' he replied with. 'Its not letting me trade or gift!' So I asked for his password, he gave me it. Little did I know, he was like me. A hacker. I logged onto his account and looked at his jamaa-grams. I saw one that caught my eye. Its said "So, when are you going to hack sunshine?" "Im going to hack her when she logs onto my account and put her items onto my backup." "Whats your backup?""Fman122". I was frightened. I quickly looked at his buddies and I was online. I started to cry. He got a jamaa-gram, its said "Tricked you!" I clicked the username at the bottom, sunshine27. Nothing came up. I looked my account. Its sadi that the account couldnt be found. 15th September, 2016 Its been 3 years since I started my youtube channel. I uploaded a video about this mistake. It already has 60k likes!!!! I still think that that guy was Fman. Although, I found out that I knew Aparri all along. I met him at birth, it was James (Her brother). I cant believe it. Fman122 is real, he came to my den the day he got banned, his name was fman122(I didn't know who he was then) I looked his name up on animal jam and it wasn't found, so he was banned while he was in my den. She yep YEET

"o I was doing something on aj and a black wolf with red x eyes and blood splatters appeared. i thought it was a glitch until they followed me into mY LOCKED DEN. i was like omg a hacker and i ran to aldan in sarepia forest until the wolf started cutting up my character and omg hyper realistic blood came out and gore gore gore and more gore bc these stupid stories are all the same only gore to scare you"
