Very good list, couple of very good options listed. Glad to see the APX again sneaking into the list, and could not agree more on how little the modularity is appreciated on it. I have one of the first Tactical Toblerone Centurion’s and have a number of different grip modules. Beretta obviously has grip modules in all the colors and then Toni Systems have a myriad of alternative performance parts. I’ve also bought a full size grip module, and cut the dust cover shorter with a bandsaw, after that polished the edge with a buffing wheel to smooth it out and now also have a full size, short barrel, long grip APX “Centurion-X”.

Kinda a late response but if your a fan of Ruger and are looking for a CCW. The Ruger LCP in 9mm is a very nice option. Sub compact reliable and has a large round capacity. They also have quite a few different colour options and some custom options like sights and guide rods, ect. And for the price of $400 or lower in my opinion it's hard to beat. Overall Ruger has kept up on their Quality and Reliability throughout the years and their customers service has always been great when I've had the rare occasion of needing something fixed or replaced.

Out of curiosity I loaded a few mags with higher grade conceal ammo and haven't had an issue since. To me, running flawlessly with ammo for protection is what counts. Like I said, I've had issues lately with Winchester ammo (3 different range ammo calibers) so as far as I'm concerned it wasn't the fault of my G3c.

I have several of these and agree with all of your selections. Being a CZ fan (I have three) I was always intrigued by the P10 line, but I have a Masada S which fills that niche. I like Caniks (I have a Rival) and had the MC9 for a while, but I liked the Masada S better so someone is getting a good deal on a slightly used MC9 at my local store. Truly appreciate the included out takes at the end. Nice work!

The Dagger is one of those guns where it's more of a question of how many you're going to buy, not if you're going to buy it. Given the price and legendary reliability of Glock 19 Gen 3, it is a foregone conclusion.

I love CZ, it's one of my favorite manufacturers it's number 1 or 2. I have the P10S, P10C, P10F, P07, P09, RAMI, TS-2(orange), Scorpion evo3, and Bren 2. They eat everything, built so well, and look good too.

My own gripe on them is the grip texture, it's the only reason I didn't get one and went with something else. I could have gotten some Talon grips or something but I went with something with a bit more customization (psa dagger), one day if the dagger proves to disappoint, I will be making my stop at a p10s.

@@i_inf0din254I have a Dagger and a P10C. The P10C is better in every way other than customizable and modularity. Also, my CZ optics ready model with night sights was the exact same price as my dagger that has a threaded barrel, RMR cut and slide cuts. Just looking at them side by side and taken apart you can see that the CZ was built better with better materials. If the texture on the CZ is too rough for you you can sand it down or wrap it. I will say though in a high stress situation that texture could save your life.

Bought the CZ P10S on a whim, not knowing anything about the gun except that Mr. Ayoob underscored the importance of fit and feel during a recent Wilson Combat vid. Picked up the P10S, liked the fit and feel immediately, and shot it well right from the box. Not sure why, but it just works for me. I've been very pleasantly surprised at the quality and precision with which CZ produces a few of their guns that sell for less than $400 in my neck of the woods. It's a bit bigger to pocket carry than my Reflex. But I shoot the CZ better.

It's very accurate and has yet to jam or stovepipe on me once. Doesn't matter what ammo I put though it. Plus for $350 you get a nice hard case, lock, tool kit, holster, 2 18rd mags, and a speed loader. What a deal!

Tisas PX-9 Gen3. Awesome. Hasn't failed yet on hundreds of rounds of 8 types of ammo, super accurate, optics ready and if you watch for sales, I got mine for $265 on sale... It also comes with an 18 and 20 round mag and cleaning kit and has a threaded barrel and fiberoptic sights. My only gripe literally is that it's RMR mount instead of the smaller variants. If they change that, I'd probably have 3 more; 1 for truck, 1 for car, 1 for boat and the one I carry around. ;)

Same here. Have several Rugers and this is the only one that has poor accy. And i have 2. Its big bro is fime and the 22 lcp2 is great. Their older .45, .22 and revolvers, rifles are excellent. Why is .380 max so poor in accy??? Oh it is reliable but groups like a shotgun at 50 ft. 4" at 21 ft. And i am a former pistol team capt , (.45 and .22) with a 294 of 300 av at peak. Not as good now, but 4 inch groups at 15 yds is not bad. 8" to 10" with this one Ruger. Factory said only meant for around 7 yds to hit a chest, or words to that effect. Maybe i am ocd but think they should be tighter like all their other superb products.

I bought the extended mag with 12 plus one rounds, which is more rounds than some micro 9s and still smaller. Yeah it’s a 380, and hard to shoot at long distances with it. But you’ll likely only need to be shooting just a few feet in front of you in a self defense situation.
