Thanks bro. AFter 4 years away from BJJ, I am using your drills to start getting back into jiu jitsu. I will keep you posted. As if anyone cared, Hhahahahah.
Ey man don't worry about anyone caring but yourself, cuz there won't always be supporters near you but there will always be haters. Just gotta have your family and loved ones in your heart always.
I just picked up some interlocking mats and already have an old Everlast bag. This is exactly what I needed to get more ideas of movements to do at home.
Chewie you’re the man! Your skills and knowledge inspire me to try new things even though I’m hesitant or have reservations. Thank you so much for sharing!!!
Thank you Chewy for such a concise video and also drills that are easy to follow. I will be incorporating this to begin home drills to prep for my first ibjjf comp!
Hey @chewjitsu 2 month white belt here. Due to the current circumstances my gym has temporary closed. I've been incorporating these solo drills daily. Thanks for the video. Huge help
Hey thanks for the drills! way harder than I anticipated as I was learning them. It was great at the end to try and freestyle. It didn’t look good haha but it made me think instead of just sweat
Chewie, can you do a similar drill video with a grappling dummy? I have a submission pro dummy that I drill with at home. Obviously I could do the same or similar drills as this video but it would be cool to see some drills on a dummy.
Love your channel you literally help me stay sane during lockdown. Long story short headed to my first naga next month!!! If you could talk us through these drills the way you explain positions really helps me understand things! Even if you can’t find the time the content you post is more than enough.
i got a heavy ass punching bag for free from a bud. Now I can just throw it on the ground and practice. started BJJ 1 week ago at 46. I am soooooo out of shape.
My training buddies have not shown up due to reasons and excuses and the sun is shining outside. *Throws heavy bag into the mat area and starts this video*
THANK YOU FOR THIS!! I just got a training dummy for home use. I'm going to put all these drills to work. How many times a week would you recommend to do these drills?
Literally just started doing this! IMO they are actually quite high level. I am incorporating them to my working out routine for the rests between sets and I'm starting with a simplified version of the first move. Can anyone rate my adaptation (I have 0 knowledge): - Stay in kneeling position in front of the punching bag; - Keeping a straight back, bend over forward with the torso turned and the shoulder "rested" on the punching bag; - Opposed hand to the shoulder in a pushing position from the punching bag; - Push slightly with the hand and turn the resting shoulder replacing it with the other hand; - Now both hands are in the bag in a narrow push up position and you can "rest" the opposite shoulder in the bag; ps: By "rest" I mean putting your weight behind it. Of course the objective is to do it fast and explosive but I'm starting it slow to understand the shoulder placement. edit - arranging the text.
Very good. I gonna make in my house. I have everything to training. I make drills every day to an best condition. But i need evolution to tournament. The level is very good today. Congratulations to vídeo.
That's a great idea. Maybe I could make another drill showing the drills then the way they would translate to actually BJJ rolling and training. Great idea!
I enjoy the short sessions , but was wondering, is there any way to download this lesson set ? I do not always have access to internet and this is something that I would like to have on hand.
