Elden Ring (PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S/One) allows you to get creative with your character builds. Here are some of the goofier/crazier examples. Subscribe for more: ru-vid.com?su...
Dear god, I actually fought The Wall last week and I legitimately had no answer to his playstyle. It didn’t help that his character model was animated with 2 frames per second, and I couldn’t tell what was an attack and what was just him sprinting. I have never felt such fear
Use a scythe. They’ve gotten around the finger print shield pretty well in my experience. Use the one handed jumping heavy to dead angle while staying out of shield bash range, or spam the two handed crouch attack on the grave scythe with Royal knight’s resolve. Turtles usually give up or finger sever by that point.
Role-playing in this game is insane. I've gotten halfway through the game as both wolverine, and Darth Maul and now I'm rolling through the game as Trevor Belmont and Alucard
@@alelaera13 well unfortunately I'm terrible at finishing games so I never beat the game as any of these characters so I didn't really have a whole lot to choose from. But the Character Creator is very robust so visually it's not too hard to make those characters. There's a really nice Wolverine tutorial somewhere around here on RU-vid and all you really need to do is get into storm Vale Castle to get the hook claws and use wolf summons and try to get some Beast incantations. For armor so far the only specific thing I've been using is that night with the huge sword around limgrave he has a chest armor with kind of a fur collar that looks really cool on him. There's also a twin blade in the ruins next to the first dragon that you can use for Darth Maul. I just start as a crusader so that I can have the black robes and Hood. And Trevor I also use the fur color chest piece but there's also a whip in stormvail. And alucard would likely use the estoc
.....Why, though. I'm glad the game is deep enough for folks to play this way but I will never understand wanting to play through a serious intelligent mature rpg as a ninja turtle or wolverine. Neat, I guess : p
"let me solo her" is so powerful, they essentially have two forms of bleed, frost does a chunk of damage when built up like bleed, but has a 30 second cool down naturally (I think 30), but, rivers of blood does fire, frostbite is removed by fire after it inflicts fully, so it's essentially double percentage chunk damage :D
I suspect the Dancer's Charm is also a key component of the Let Me Solo Her build. Turns the complete lack of armor into an asset, giving you a sizable damage-buff based on how low your equip-load is - in this case, minescule.
at 8 equip load (minimum) it's a 14.6-15% dmg boost, i really wished it was based on equip load % and not flat equip load because on god i don't think the blue dancer is naked wielding daggers
I genuinely feel like the amount of love for this game from the community as a whole is kinda vocalised through you guys. I've been playing since Demon Souls PS3 and Elden ring really feels like it's on another level. Love all yall's videos!
That's just every game's balance ever. Some games even call it the meta. It suck but also realistically you can't escape it without making everything sammy and boring af.
That's inevitable. But unless you're going for PvP, it really doesn't matter anyway. I have tried many builds with respec, while obviously some builds and playstyles have an edge, I've never felt underpowered with any build either.
If you dont like thae caveman aesthetic, you can switch the club for the anchor and change the skin color to a greenish blue and boom, Wizard Sea Creature!
You guys are literally the best game cover channel, you actually play the games. can you upload your wishlist games list that you want to come back that most people don't not know or remember?
I'm a fingerprint shield god, and the only thing that consistently gave me trouble in the arenas lately are the albinauric sleep weapons. The reason it's a problem is the guy would poke me and take zero damage when I hit him back, and I couldn't figure out an alternative.
The Walls been around since dark souls I think? Not sure if it was in demon souls. I’ve been using giant-crusher, highland axe, Alexander shard, and roar medallion with the trolls roar. It’s a lot different then I usually play (cowering behind a shield and roll spamming) so it’s pretty fun Drip is albunauric mask and Lionel set.
The wall was made popular by OnlyAfro in DS1 back then, along with Giant Dad. It was not a thing in Demon's Souls, since it was not possible to use shield on both hand.
I'm BENJALSON - build number 6 for weatherman! Can't believe I'm finding this video months later, haha. Thank you so, so much for including it on your list, it's such an amazing feeling to be a part of a gameranx video!
That's what happens when good games get proper development. I won't get tired of Elden Ring any time soon, which I can't honestly say about most recent triple-A games.
I only had four fingerprint shields and felt inadequate. I copied the wall with shield crash on one and no skill on the left hand. It works pretty well. I love that guys video…with the song etc. excellent production.
This video may have just convinced me to install ER and give it a go. Love your content Falcon. Top notch! Also, You forgot to mention the "Nasally Badger" build. Quite a spectacle really.
@@gameranxTV you guys really should have a tv show lol...you generate more substantive material than most dedicated networks..and no equals imo regarding pure passion for what you do
also, on the let me solo her build, about the weapon infusions / status effects: the uchi AND the rivers of blood both apply blood (which does % hp damage when it procs) the uchigatana also is infused with frost, so it does bleed and frost, the latter also does a substancial amount of damage AND debuffs the enemy, meaning while they're frost, they take more damage the rivers of blood katana has an innate fire damage aspect aswell. it's a bloodflame weapon, meaning it had blood build up and it does fire damage the synergy is insane, because, you proc bleed and frost, a huge chunk of your enemies' hp. THEN, when you attack them again, your rivers of blood fire damage will remove the frost debuff (after the increased damage), allowing you now to apply frost again with pretty much no cooldown this means every single time, every couple of hits, you'll chunk the bosses for huge amounts of damage. that's why with fast attacking weapons, blood build up with fire infusion on one of them and frost on the other is borderline broken
I ended up with a very similar let me solo her build at the end of my first playthrough. I'm not that smart so my uchi was occult and I just focused on damage by arcane and blood buildup. really powerful anyway
Heres a cool armor combo cleanrot set with malanias helmet. I usually run 2 granseaxs and ancient dragon magic makes for a cool gear set cuz everything fits the armor theme
I made my own build that I’m still currently working on called the warrior of flame how it works is simple get the sword of night and flame along with a bunch of fire incantations then make sure to wear the banished nights helm and altered commander Niall armor so that way you look really badass while burning everything around you
the wall build is something i thought up as i was downlading the game day 1. same armor same shield, the only difference is that i named my character A wall. its interesting to see other people have the same idea
There's another build that is amazing I think you should have included. I forget the person's name but somebody on RU-vid posted a build that mimics Vergil from Devil May Cry and it is fantastic.
Do a “top greatest moments while playing in online matches”. Like that moment you tell Yourself ‘alright one last game’ and that match ends up being the greatest match you’ve played in AWHILE. You end up being the team that wins it and you know that that match is a really good one because it ended up being OT or each team just needs one more point to win it all. That’s a great feeling to end a one last game.
I've been enjoying my Dex (NOT Katana--that will be another build) Dual Wielding Eleonora's PoleBlade w/ either Godskin Peeler or my Hoarfrost Stomp TwinBlades ya find in Limgrave at the start. It's nice to have different options, Dual-Wielding, then 2Handing, etc., which I enjoyed after maining the Fist & Claw Weapons for the longest time
1:31 Dated yourself by calling it an "IM" lol. Gave me a shot of nostalgia quickly followed by the existential dread that comes with the cruel passage of time.
Had a guy invade me and he did a vyke build, armor, weapons , and all, literally one of best pop fights I've ever had it fun af to fight against might do it for ng+3
That "ninja turtle" look looks about as cool as what Michael Bay did to the TMNT in the live action movies... He WAY over did their look, trying to make them look cool, when they already looked badass, and didn't need a revamp style.
There's a nice two handed scythe I've put cold damage on, and it naturally does a fair bit of bleeding, that for some reason isn't reduced by a noticeable amount when you put on the stacking effects like usual.
I haven't played in an entire year, never actually completed it after 70 hours lol, so I've restarted as a dex/ arcane/ strength and vigor so I'm gna see how it goes
Meh, the wall is a thing since DS1. Like giant dad, hehe, good times. Before the multi got broken completely for me whatever I tried and/or there wasn't anyone left. The wall invading people in the way on the buttresses (support? Abutments? Stiffeners?) was genius at the time.
You can take The Wall build a bit further with arcane if you put a "No Skill" / Poison AoW onto the main hand shield, and "Shield Crash" / Bleed onto off hand. Will let standard atts activate poison-madness and Kindred of Rot buff, then Crash can trigger multiple Blood Loss-madness and Lord of Blood buff. mix with mushroom crown/white mask and shard of alexander and anything that staggers is ez
