Princess Daisy was the very first character that I loved, and considering I was obsessed with her throughout my elementary school years, since Mario Party 3, Daisy was always my favorite character in general, despite her being a "worthless duplicate" but she appeals to me the most more than any other Mario character and has a lot of support, appearances and fans. I'll love the day when she becomes a true main character of her own.
I'm surprised she wasn't an alt character for Peach at least, I'll be happy even with that. I really hope she'll be in the Switch Smash, she's been deserved to by now.

I am not a big fan of hers but I do respect & like her as a character, it is because of Peach that Daisy exists. I don't find Peach to be very appealing to me, as I like Daisy more, even with her lack of development. Most people like Peach more, but there are many who prefer Daisy.
When I read dark secrets and saw the thumbnail as Daisy smiling perhaps even giggling whilst tied up in chains, I seriously thought "oh gosh, don't tell me innocent if not brash little Daisy is a masochist! Noooooooo"

On the contrary, I'm the older one and refuse to play anyone but luigi. I even have his wii remote. Point is, it doesn't matter your age or player role. Luigi is just the best, period. And like you said, that indirectly makes daisy the best.
I agree with Just a Snail. I always liked Luigi better than Mario and i actually liked Peach but i do like Daisy too. And since she debut i like Rosalina as well. So yeah i think it should be Luigi who gets all the ladies lol.

"Super Mario Run" is better than nothing. Daisy really needs to be in more games than just party or sport games... maybe the RPG games too as a cameo. And kudos to Dyana Mustard for adding some personality by voice.

You simply have to change Peach's "skin" and boom you have Daisy with her iconic daisy flower, orange dress, and her hairstyle and color! Same thing goes for the Koopalings; change Bowser Jr.'s "skin" and you can play any Koopaling in Bowser's family.

Daisy is more physical while Peach is more technical. They have different powers, along with a bunch of other differences. Daisy would also be a good character that can represent all of the sports and party games.
Superairdog 10 I could see all her potential in smash. All her moves could be flower/Sports based similar to peach and maybe if some moves are too similar they could can turn her into a brawler tomboy princess type since peach is already the elegant and proper one. I certainly wouldnt mind seeing another ruff and tumble lady in the Mario series, there are so few of them outside the first three paper mario games. Seriously its like Toadette and Peach were the only girls before they introduced Rosalina. @Wow Wow Wubbzy please not comment about her because you know nothing about princess Daisy so peach and Daisy is best friends. They are different characters so not same at all so next smash game, princess Daisy will get her own moveset and final smash soon.
Well, because she is echo so that obivous to see will have peach moves but it's not right at all because I knew Princess Daisy is different so finally, she is in smash game and she will get development to evolve more to get her own moveset and final smash to match her personality Daisy is. And it is her first time in smash game so clearly, at the Nintendo company don't know what to use moves for her because she do have lot moves so for now they put her in smash game then will start to develop her more in next smash game.

How??? Peach has so much powers including Heart Powers, Wishing Powers, Magic, Parasol Skill, and Information Transferer. She has one of the best skills in the franchise according to Mario and Sonic Olympic Series. She is smart enough to escape but of course the creators don`t let her because Mario needs to save someone for Super Mario Bros to Work.
I have watched the SMB movie many times, and even saw it on the big screen back in '93. I think the movie is great, but maybe only Mario fans could enjoy it.
Star the Wolf Peach is way better this channel really is bias and dislikes Peach and her fans. Peach has so much abilities and skills that Daisy does not have including: Heart Powers where she uses to attack enemies since she is the heart princess, Wishing Powers where she can strengthen or weaken anybody with it, she also has Magic, she can Levitate, she has badass Parasol Skills, and has Emotion Empowerment shown in Super Princess Peach where she saves Mario, also a very good Information Transferer.
Plus she is one of the most smartest characters in the whole franchise and massive skills according to Mario and Sonic Olympic Games. The creators decided to let her be saved instead of not escaping herself since she can do that. If no princess to be saved then no Super Mario Bros. If no Princess maybe no Mario Games at all
Neither of these were dark like the title suggest or weird like the video suggests. I don't think Nintendo is trying to hide them either. Still this video is good if you want to learn detailed info about Daisy. Especially if you're unfamiliar with her background.

Me and my cousin used to play Mario kart Wii and we would play as Daisy and Peach. I never remembered seeing Rosalina in the game, none the less playing as her, but I vividly remember playing Daisy because my cousin thought she was high and mighty, and she assumed Peach was better.
I love Mario for days....but Daisy is my girl! I mean, it's like they made a character around me lol. She's not a typical princess and she's not afraid to kick butt. Total independent woman.
